We were badly let down by another electrician & very stressed out as SSE and Octopus were booked to move our supply, when Mark came to our rescue. The work has been rebooked as SSE cancelled so not yet completed - will be our next review! - but Mark was there ready to step in and now we have more time he has come up with a common sense plan for the job that no other electrician had offered. Electrics are complicated to the lay person, but we now understand exactly what needs to happen so feel back in control and in safe hands. Professional, expert and friendly. Could not recommend Mark highly enough. THANK-YOU!

Mark and all the guys at ER Electrical are absolutely fantastic. They’ve been helping us with our (long term) home renovation project and have always been so obliging no matter how big or small the job is. They give really great advice and work efficiently and always so tidy! They’re true professionals and know their stuff so we are definitely in safe hands. Mark is always super responsive and manages to slot us in often on short notice (despite being so busy). I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

I cannot fault Mark and his team, they are very professional, courteous and friendly and everything is carried out to a high standard. They are always reliable, trustworthy and charge a fair price. When we moved into our old cottage a few months ago it urgently needed the brickwork repointing. Foundations Up found space to fit us in and Ricky did a fantastic job. He was sensitive to the building, carefully considering where it would be best to repair the old lime mortar and where it would be best to leave the cement from a 70s renovation and prevent damaging the old bricks. It's messy work but at the end of the job we were left clean and tidy, even cleaning the brick dust off the windows. The house looks smart and cared for again and more importantly weatherproof.

We had a fantastic experience with Foundations Up. We would highly recommend them. There was a problem with team members sadly falling ill on the day of our install, but another team, who we’re working nearby, finished up their job, came straight to our property and started on ours. We were happy to rebook, but getting the job done to a high spec and in a timely fashion is a very high priority for Foundations Up. The team were extremely polite and their professionalism is a huge positive for the company. Many thanks for an amazing job.

After various leaks from the roof we asked Foundations Up to consider the job for us. They were very professional with the survey, sending up a drone to photograph the roof, which is not something we have had done before. The survey report was very comprehensive with a detailed breakdown of what needed doing and what it would cost. They admitted that they may be considered a little more expensive than the opposition, however they promised a professional job with well-trained technicians. This they promised and delivered. Their sub-contracted scaffolders were very good and mindful of the children in the garden below in our nursery. The roofers, especially Tim and Dave arrived and set to their task by 8.00 each day and the quality of the work and the finish was first class, taking very few breaks through the day. I would thoroughly recommend this company for any roofing work.

We brought a house with 12 solar panels just over a month ago. We knew the panels were not serviced or cleaned since installed 10 years ago (2013) We reached out to DES Ltd who completed a full service and cleaning service. Really pleased with the work carried out to install 2 x extractors and a PIV unit. The work was much more involved than first thought, and the poor guy was working in our loft on the hottest day of the year! But he returned a second day to finish up and the original price was honoured. A pleasure having you in our home and feeling the benefits of the extractors and PIV as soon as they were turned on!

We've been super-happy with Joe and his colleagues. Highly recommended. We discoevered Joe through a previous small job at our colttage where they were sub-contracted by our builder. This week, they replaced a whole lot of ageing night-storage heaters with modern, programmable radiators at our rather old and crumbly cottage in Dorset. Joe gave great advice, answering every email really quickly. We were away when they did the job over a couple of days. We returned to find everything completed absolutely perfectly. The cabling from our meter was rewired as needed. Everything just right. New radiators installed, firmly fixed to our walls of various weird and historic materials. Other than the radiators being installed, we wouldn't have known they'd been here! The heavy old contraptions full of grime and bricks had been dismantled and taken away without any fuss, or dust. Through no fault of theirs, one of the new radiators had a little fault. They responded instantly and had sourced and installed a new one within 24 hours. Unbelievable! Everything friendly, cheerful, efficient, responsive and charged exactly the price agreed in advance. We are very happy (and warm!) bunnies indeed. Thank you Joe and Mark! I have been considering creating an en suite shower room and effecting some external works at my property but was somewhat daunted by managing a project. Joe Newton Electrical, Plumbing and Heating Services and James Newsam Construction were recommended by neighbours. Joe and James, who often work in collaboration, came to assess what was required and quote a week after contact. Options were discussed, sensible advice given and a detailed quote and anticipated start date followed shortly thereafter. The Project commenced on the agreed start date with a team of professional, pleasant, experienced, local trades arriving one after the other! all were well-briefed, hard working and consulted me in relation to any decisions (style of doors, placement of switches etc) as necessary. The ethos and importance of "Customer Satisfaction" was obvious throughout. Any queries I had were responded to by Joe or James, usually within the hour. Joe managed the sequence of events entirely for all the electrical and plumbing work, which was completed to a very high standard. I am delighted with my new En Suite Shower Room, it is spacious, practical and stylish and will doubtless add value to my property. I have no hesitation in recommending Joe Newton Electrical, Plumbing and Heating, who I will definitely use again. PS the final Invoice was exactly as quote and I literally could not fault any part of the service I received.

Joe and his colleagues did the electrical work and plumbing on our houses renovation. The electrical work carried out (mainly) by Aaron and his trusty assistant Billy is superb. Aaron is extremely methodical in his approach and it shows with the end result. We also had a mini wet room built. The end result is stunning. The tiling and the tanking beneath the tiling was done to an extremely high standard. The tiler Steve is a lovely chap and again, extremely methodical in his approach. Towards the end of the project the final bits of plumbing were completed by plumber Aaron and John. Again the work was to a high standard and it was a pleasure having them in our home. We would definitely recommend using Joe and his team and we will be next spring for the other bathroom to be renovated. Thanks Joe and team. Andy and Lisa. Also I think it’s wonderful that Joe takes on apprentices, to train the next generation of electricians.

Fantastic dentists. I was not registered with them but rang up on a Saturday morning in extreme pain. They agreed to see me within a couple of hours and were so extremely kind and friendly it instantly put me at ease. I get quite anxious with the dentist but this place and the staff were so lovely I wasn’t afraid at all. The waiting room has soft lighting and really comfortable chairs which helps. I was given the a thorough examination and given the best care. I will be returning to have the infected tooth removed with these guys. They actually said I didn’t have to return to them just because they had seen me that day but I want to as they were so nice and caring. Would 10/10 recommend :)

This was my first experience of Arden House as I have recently changed dentist. I had to organise an emergency appointment as a filling had fallen out, and I go on holiday in a couple of days. Loved my visit to The Den last Saturday. The food was delicious, with good portion sizes, and the menu had so many great options to choose from. Myself and my boyfriend visited the Cotswolds for a midweek trip and stumbled across “the den”. We were greeted with two friendly employees who made our visit to the shop a great experience. So much so we visited the following day! The food was amazing and we couldn’t stop thinking about it the next day, therefore we returned. Although we didn’t have any of the cakes, they looked amazing and the food selection is massive and caters to everyone. If in bourton on the water, I would definitely recommend a trip here!

I can't recommend Cheriton Dental Practice highly enough, from initial contact with Tracy who was so helpful and professional in arranging treatment for my son. Andy Thomas is an outstanding Dentist, I felt very confident leaving my son in his capable hands, he was very personable and put my son at ease. On my first visit to Alaska house I was seen by Llewellyn Camilla. She made me feel very welcomed and put me at ease straight away. Nicole the Hygienist was really lovely and spoke through every process she was going to be doing. I'm quite a nervous patient so this was nice to have. She also offered me lots of advice on how to keep my gums healthy. She was very lovely and welcoming! My overall experience so far at Alaska house has been very good, everyone at the practice is so welcoming.
