Total lifesavers! Van was out of action with a serious coolant leak in an inaccessible place (needed hours of stripping back to reach it). A truly excellent garage with old school attitudes to customers and vehicle repairs, where customers count and if it can be repaired over replaced it will be at reasonable cost. No, it's not all chrome and glass, but you will be happy with the service.

Pete and the team diagnosed and repaired my faulty ignition coil pack very quickly and at a fair price. I called on a Monday at 9am with a limping car, Pete had me in at 11, got straight on with the job with his colleague, and they diagnosed the problem in around 10 mins and were patient with me asking questions about it. He reassured me that this was certainly the problem and that he'd get the part and have it back on the road within hours, leaving me free to get back to some climbing in the meantime without worry. I was charged £170. Considering the part alone costs about £100 as far as I can tell, I'm very happy with that! Thanks very much Pete and co, your efficient service was a huge relief after a stressful weekend of car trouble.

Just went in for an MOT and they went above and beyond, doing a small repair without charge as well as a timely MOT and with a clear explanation of an advisory. I will be back for sure and recommend them highly....As a woman on my own I often come across misogynistic tradesmen (sad but so true) but no chance of that with these guys. Very thorough, detailed and explained fully what work was needed to be done and then had been done, showing me the old damaged part and also some helpful tips going forward. Only been in for an MOT so far after moving into the area. However first impressions (and after all that's what matters) is that it is a proper garage with people that know their stuff, aren't out to try and 'upsell' extras and repairs etc and are happy to chat about what was found etc. Definitely going to be the garage I head back to without a doubt for anything I can't sort/do and all my future MOTs

Had my car here for a clutch change and what can I say, absolutely amazing job done by this garage. We were on holiday last week, and had issues with the Adblue system, we were told about Top Gear garage by the people who s house it was we were staying at. We made contact and explained and they got us in first thing the following morning and the issues was solved in less then 10 minutes of being at the garage , the mechanic was brilliant honest and trustworthy, and the receptionist was a credit also to the company. It was a fraction of the price back home, and did not rip us off and very honest and trustworthy. Was told if had any more issues go back to them while on holiday. I told all family about them and was very grateful for the recommendation we had to go to them. I hope I don't have car trouble again next time on holiday but I know where I would be taking my car if I did. Thank you Top Gear garage to all of you, this really is a trustworthy and honest garage and mechanics that you don't always get now days.

I have had a problem with my car for 2 years and every garage I have taken it too has said there was no issues. MOT stop actually took my car out themselves instead of relying on machines to tell them otherwise and found it to be dangerous to drive. This issue was rectified with a couple of days. Fantastic service from Nigel and Andy. I had a damaged slam panel replaced, followed by an MOT for £200 less than quotes elsewhere. Also advised that an expansion tank that I thought had been changed, hadn't. Great friendly garage, highly recommended and my Go To place from now on.

Excellent, would highly recommend these guys. We had just travelled down to the Owermoigne area towing a caravan when an engine management light came lit up on our Volvo V60. After a quick Google search Taylors Garage came up. We could see that they had good reviews and now know why. Although it was Friday evening and after closing time, we phoned anyway on the off chance. The phone was answered promptly and politely, after discussing the problem the owner apologised for not being able to look at it on Saturday as they are normally closed and had a previous commitment. Despite it being a busy Monday morning I was met on arrival, the problem was diagnosed swiftly and the warning light extinguished. Good honest service, thank you very much.

Very tempting bakery open 24 hours with amazing sweet and savoury pastries. However the fact that they are open all day you may buy goods that are not fresh, as we did with cherry doughnuts! Choose carefully and you will not be disappointed.
