Fabulous! One of the best coffee stops for cyclists in this corner of Dorset. We're always made very welcome. Great service, great coffee and a lovely selection of food. Great coffee and pastries. A lovely friendly atmosphere, I keep meaning to visit when I'm not on a bike.

We came here for breakfast for my mum's birthday and it did not disappoint! The ingredients are of the highest quality, everything was cooked perfectly and the coffee was great. We were a table of 7 adults and a highchair, and the service was incredibly friendly and professional. The outdoor tables with a view were a perfect way to finish our morning with a coffee and a cannoli. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we look forward to returning soon!

I had the fully vegan breakfast and was thoroughly impressedāit definitely didnāt disappoint! I followed it with the breakfast wrap, which was equally amazing. However, the lemon cake was the real highlight. Would have happily eaten more if we could. It was absolutely delicious!

We donāt really know Dorchester but found ourselves at Brewery Square, just away from the town centre. It was a place full of unexciting corporate eateries with one exception - Vibes. We went in because it was dog friendly but stayed for the eye poppingly delicious vegan food. We ate a fantastic mushroom shawarma plate, a felafel wrap and some onion rings too. All were absolutely delicious. Really good. Add in some chilled music & calming decor & this was truly a place of positive, er, Vibes. Visit & be delighted.

Just dined at this very cute cafe with finger-licking good food!!! My family and I ordered Falafel Wrap, Mushroom Shawarma, Buddha Bowl, and Sourdough bread. In addition to this we also ordered their Sunshine Smoothy and Iced Latte. Everything we ordered here was flavourful and delicious. Their falafel was really good as well, which in my personal experience is a hard one to get right. It was crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. The owner and the server were really sweet and welcoming as well. In all my family and I had a very good experience with great food. :)

Came here with my sisters hen do, enjoyed it so much I had to show it to my partner. I love the atmosphere here, the servers are so kind and friendly you feel right at home. The drinks are delicious! I'm lucky I got to try quite a few with the group. The food is absolutely delicious š¤¤ and I am quite a picky eater but I loved it all. Over all I would recommend to anyone and will be coming back in future.

Popped in here for breakfast while our car charge. Excellent breakfast menu with amazing vegan options, very tasty juices and great coffee. Left feeling full and well watered and bought some sweet treats for later. Very much worth checking out.

An absolutely brilliant cafe with delicious fresh food, friendly staff and very reasonable prices! The South African cuisine was one I had not tried before, but it was presented brilliantly to me with the wide array of inventive yet authentic dishes on offer. The coffee was also brilliant and the cakes were delicious.

Incredible food, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Stopped for lunch with my sister when we were in the area. So glad we did! I had the chicken nourish bowl and it looked as good as it tasted. We look forward to returning to try the gorgeous desserts.

Fables and food has a lovely atmosphere, it is happy and Homely, has incredible food and amazing service. I had the French toast and it came out so well presented and tasted just as good as it looked! This cafe is like no other Iāve been to before as it has such a South African vibe, from the food to the decor! They even sell fresh eggs, cakes and fresh bread. Could not recommend enough!

Lovely food and host/wait team! We went for the special barbecue lunch and it was lovely as well as great value. My only comment would be that I'd have loved it if the food had been brought in piping hot but it was delicious nonetheless. Definitely revisiting to try other things on their menu.

I booked an afternoon tea for 8 of us for a 50th birthday treat. Communication before the day was very good and the actual afternoon tea was amazing, very fresh with a great variety of sandwickes and cakes. The team went above and beyond to ensure we were all very well looked after, bringing us extra sandwiches and tea! I would highly recommend this lovely cafe overlooking the river for afternoon tea.

Outstanding experience. Super scrumptious food, excellent service, perfect atmosphere and really stylish. Homemade hummus (part of the mezze plate) was great and the pork and apple sausage roll (part of the farmers platter) was on another level. Truly wonderful. What more can one say? If you're in the area go and visit, you won't be disappointed.

This is a little gem of a place! We sat outside in the sun and ordered several items off the menu. The team were all charming and helpful and the food was fast and tasty. The farmers plate, shakshuka and brioche breakfast buns were all fabulous. The smoothies were perfectly balanced - not too sweet and the cakes are 10/10. Our new fave spot! Be sure to get there before the kitchen closes at 3!

We visited Weymouth today and it was very windy and sometimes rainy. We looked for somewhere welcoming to eat and spotted this lovely hidden gem. Very cosy and welcoming and excellent food (and cakes if desired). We had a lovely chicken burger dinner, which was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Waiting for the car to get new tyres fitted at National Tyre (a Halfords Company.....) I stumbled upon this lovely little cafe and all of its quirky contents - staff included. A lovely Americano and a rich, crumbly and packed sausage roll proving to be just the restorative I didn't know I needed - even if it was proffered by the waitress to everyone before finding its way to its rightful consumer... hilarious, as I watched it unfold, and no grudge at all, it should probably write its own travel memoir).

Lovely owners. Mum makes the savoury food and her daughter makes the cakes. A choice of vegetarian and gluten free options alongside full English breakfast etc. Not a huge cafe but charming with seating upstairs as well as down. Chairs and tables are also set out on the green. Supper evenings available and the downstairs setting is super romantic.

Had the best Greek salad outside of Greece and my husband had the best Dorset Ploughman's lunch. Really delicious and well-presented food in a small, friendly cafƩ. Generous portion sizes too. You can't see the huge chunk of cheddar in the pic as it was behind the huge hunk of wholemeal bread! Highly recommended.

Stopped for lunch at 'The Posh Partridge' when visiting Dorset on a combined business / leisure trip. It was a relaxed and pleasant place for lunch and both the service and the food was quality and nicely presented. The hot Pastrami sandwich I had was very tasty, as was the toasted Brie and Cranberry Panini. The cost for two toasted sandwiches and two diet cokes was Ā£20.80

A lovely lunch, luckily we found this one for lunch, only looked for it as I noticed the Sign a bit further down the road. Really good food. It was lovely and quiet for us, but I guess on a busy day would be just as nice as the food is good so this is what matters. Thank you so much. A fantastic cafe, serving delicious, well priced food. We stopped for lunch and enjoyed sandwiches, soup of the day, and the crab bisque, followed by treacle and ginger tart and Bakewell tart. All of this was homemade and the portions were excellent. This cafe is not to be missed!

Friendly accommodating staff were good about my girlfriend's allergies and swapping ingredients round. The food was also good and tasty. Only gripe was the full breakfast coming with only one slice of toast which wasn't anywhere near enough to soak up all the breakfast goodies - surely 2 slices a minimum! Offering breakfast with a hot drink like some places do would have definitely got 5 stars. Would go again.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat after visiting the Roman temple ruins. The cafe has the perfect location looking out over the bay, and has seating both inside and out. Staff were super friendly and even though it was fairly close to closing time they were incredibly accommodating. We had the seafood platter, and even though they did not have a lot of crab meat, they offered to make it up with another part of the platter instead. That being said, the platter had a great portion of each of the seafoods, and the salad was very good too. Personally I really enjoy radish in salads so glad to see it here. We also got a milkshake and a smoothie, the milkshake was a great refresher and my partner said she loved the smoothie. Finally we also had a couple of cakes to finish our lunch, I had a rocky road which was superb, and my partner had the largest slice of coffee and walnut cake, which of course I helped finish off. Definitely worth going for a nice meal with a view!

I fly kites at Bowleeze Cove common ground, and the Lookout is right next to the field so it's very convenient. They provide great food with good sized portions and the freshly ground coffee is lovely especially on a cold day. Would recommend š

Really excellent. As someone who also owns a small independent cafe, Potters is one of the best I have visited. Lovely food( club sandwich) almost too much to finish, and Iām a big eater. Very attentive staff, and extremely good value for money. All round an excellent little cafe.

A lovely little cafe, tucked away in a Dorchester side street. A well-kept secret that the locals cherish. You can get to Potters back door and their lovely patio garden by turning left before entering Waitrose. The front door is in the street next to Tony & Guys hair salon. The cafe offers lots of homemade goodies and great tea and coffee. They are a little pricey for some of their items but it's worth paying that little bit more for quality. The staff are well above the average.
