“We came here for breakfast for my mum's birthday and it did not disappoint! The ingredients are of the highest quality, everything was cooked perfectly and the coffee was great. We were a table of 7 adults and a highchair, and the service was incredibly friendly and professional. The outdoor tables with a view were a perfect way to finish our morning with a coffee and a cannoli. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we look forward to returning soon!”

“Had coffees and lovely Victoria Sandwich Cake sitting outside but undercover. Bought some free range eggs, saw their farm raised lamb burgers and sausages for sale in the farm shop. Lots of animals around too to interest kiddies and adults too. Lovely peaceful place, didn't know the cafe and farm shop existed until recently, will definitely call in again and recommend to friends.”

“A lovely lunch, luckily we found this one for lunch, only looked for it as I noticed the Sign a bit further down the road. Really good food. It was lovely and quiet for us, but I guess on a busy day would be just as nice as the food is good so this is what matters. Thank you so much. We were passing through Dorchester a few days ago and will certainly visit again.”

“Popped in for a quick bite to eat after visiting the Roman temple ruins. The cafe has the perfect location looking out over the bay, and has seating both inside and out. Staff were super friendly and even though it was fairly close to closing time they were incredibly accommodating. We had the seafood platter, and even though they did not have a lot of crab meat, they offered to make it up with another part of the platter instead. That being said, the platter had a great portion of each of the seafoods, and the salad was very good too. Personally I really enjoy radish in salads so glad to see it here. We also got a milkshake and a smoothie, the milkshake was a great refresher and my partner said she loved the smoothie. Finally we also had a couple of cakes to finish our lunch, I had a rocky road which was superb, and my partner had the largest slice of coffee and walnut cake, which of course I helped finish off. Definitely worth going for a nice meal with a view!”

“Really excellent. As someone who also owns a small independent cafe, Potters is one of the best I have visited. Lovely food( club sandwich) almost too much to finish, and I’m a big eater. Very attentive staff, and extremely good value for money. All round an excellent little cafe.”

“Food is well priced and there’s a great selection to choose from. Portion consistency varies depending on who’s working. Quality consistent though. Example, bought the wife the Brie and bacon panini six weeks or so ago was packed with Brie and bacon she liked it so much that she asked for it this time. It was a little skinny, let’s say, but still tasty!”

“I love this little place that has a larger personality especially around the holidays, nice food, nice helpful staff, and full of friendlyness. It gets bigger and louder during the holidays and summer months when it opens the play area and the maize maze. Lovely for families and children. I have to say it pleases my heart to see this place set up for children's outside play, they certainly keep you on your toes, even when you are not part of that group or party, it has a little downside life everywhere when is busy hearing can be an issue even when sat face to face, so if you're expecting a wee cuppa or coffee or lunch in peace or relative quite here, you honestly won't know until you get there. It's just lovely hearing the children and youths being a play outside and not attached to their phones or computers.”
