Kings Kiosk

Rating: 5 (18) Price Level:

What a lovely find. Lovely Coffee and gorgeous new forest ice cream with lots of yummy flavors to choose from (think we counted 12!) and that was just the scoop flavors not counting the ice lollies! This little kiosk is a real bonus during a trip to the park with the kids...or if you want to go on a heath land dog walk - the hot chocolate my daughter had was probably the best we have tasted (of course you do have to check before giving it to your child haha). The two ladies who own the Kiosk are polite and friendly and clearly care about their business. One of them - Jen - actually bakes all the cakes which looked amazing - the free from Chocolate brownie was being purchased by the lady in front of us and said its the best shes ever tasted and shes not even intolerant to anything! Off the back of this we actually enquired about a Bluey cake for my daughters 5th Birthday. Jen hands down made the best cake we have ever ordered, both visually and taste wise! If you haven't visited yet, make sure you go. It is so worth a visit!

One of the best services in experienced in a long time. The lady was so lovely and very helpful with my daughter’s allergies. I couldn’t fault the service, my iced chai latte with oat milk was delicious (I work at Starbucks, so I know how it should taste) and my daughter loved her ice cream. I highly recommend this kiosk of you’re ever enjoying the facilities at king George playing field.

Always serving great coffee with smiles on their faces. Really trying hard to make this a great local, family owned thriving business. Homemade cakes including Gluten free offerings. Please support them, they are doing a great job and not a franchise!

Very welcoming and friendly service, child friendly too. Lovely freshly made full breafasts and kids loved their sausage barms. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely finishing touch- free sweets for the kids at the end of our meal. Will definitely go again next time we are passing through. Highly recommended.

What a great little find this cafe is. Excellent food at really great prices. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff are always friendly and attentive. That fact that some items on the menu come with free coffee or tea makes the value even better. The sandwich fillings are a lot more than other places. Pictures of a breakfast wrap and a cheese and ham toastie. I cannot recommend this cafe enough.

I love this cafe. It’s so friendly and a real community hub. My favourite is the cranberry and brie toastie. They have an excellent selection of cakes - with GF options too. You can take your dogs in which is always an added bonus. Angela, Tim and their team really look after their customers and look out for their wellbeing which really adds to the caring community vibe. You can also buy cards, handmade ceramic jewellery. Great place !

Stumbled across this little coffee shop due to our normal route being flooded. Perfect brie and cranberry toasted sandwiches, and very delicious coffee. We took our bits away, but the shop was warm and inviting. Lots of people were having food and drink. Friendly staff, and all very clean and tidy. I'm sure we'll visit again! Thank you

Clean open & airy with plenty of room fabulous Greasy spoon without the grease!!! They offer a massive menu with plenty of options offering every possible combination for breakfasts and if you don't fancy a breakfast there is a wide range of tasty meals and snacks on offer! Parking is limited however it seems to be a case of leave where you can abandon it outside but be prepared to move it because if your not blocking someone in you will be blocked.

This is one of those hidden gem places that do not come along very often. Its tucked away at the back of a trading estate. So, you won't find it by chance. Its done in the style of an American diner with a British twist. The staff are great and let you know they are pleased too have you pay a visit. Its evident that the local trades all know about this place, but the secret is gradually getting out. Parking can be tricky close by. But there are plenty of spaces a short walk away. Food is really good. More than a match, and in most cases a big step up, for any of the local cafes and pub restaurants. Fresh cooked and prepared on site. There is a great menu which covers most tastes, big range of drinks and even American pancakes to finish you off if you can fit any more in. Portion sizes are generous so don't over order. The most popular choices seem to be the excellent cooked breakfasts. Highly recommend this place. Well worth the effort of finding it. Moderate prices for a 5 star service. I don't think you will find better in the area.

We were not too impressed with the campsite offering, so searched for something local and saw another review which said 'good value'. Well the other review was not wrong. Parking was easy with a carpark besides, food was great, bacon cooked to perfection and all for a reasonable price. Would not hesitate to go again when in the area. Made a nice start to the day.

Came here two days ago with my 7 month old for a quick drink whilst we had some downtime. Upon arrival, the worker who was cleaning tables opened the door for me to get my pram in which is always helpful to a mum with her hands full! Drink was lovely, and they offered to bring it to my table for me. Finally, the other worker behind the counter also offered to open the door from me on my way out despite that he was nowhere near the door. The atmosphere was lovely, it was kept nice and warm and the cafe was kept very clean. Really appreciated all the help that was offered. It makes a massive difference.

Haskins Garden Centre Ferndown

Longham, Ferndown BH22 9DG, UK | Store
P: 01202 591919

Rating: 4.3 (3897) Price Level:

Great place to shop and eat. It’s a garden centre with everything you would expect these days and they do it well. We went in for lunch. There are so many options. From sandwiches and salads to jacket potatoes and soups or even a pizza or carvery! We had Jacket Potatoes with cheese and beans. The member of staff preparing it was extremely helpful and allowed me to have butter added to the jacket before adding the cheese and beans. Side salad with coleslaw accompanied it. It’s a huge portion and tasted great. The atmosphere is nice. It is noisy though so if you don’t like the background noise maybe choose a quiet time. I did drop it down a star due to an employee that was rude but it was busy and maybe I caught them at the wrong time. Definitely worth a trip.

Really nice store, we like to look at the Christmas display which just gets better and better each year. Stopped in the cafe/restaurant which had a good selection of light bites, snacks all the way up to a full carvery roast. Food and drink was hot, plentiful, tasty and reasonably priced. Good selection of plants and garden accessories Great place to purchase gifts, books clothing etc, with plenty of ample parking places, disabled spaces too. It does get busy here, which shows it popularity. Go and have a look, you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely charming bakery nestled in the heart of the town center! I've been a regular patron, often stopping by for a quick pick-me-up—a delicious coffee paired with a fresh croissant. However, today I decided to indulge in their breakfast offerings, and I'm so glad I did! The staff greeted me with warm smiles and were incredibly friendly throughout my visit. The breakfast menu, though concise, offered a delightful variety, and the food was incredibly fresh and flavourful. Every bite was a delight to the senses. I can't wait to return and explore more of their breakfast options. If you're in the area, this bakery is a must-visit for a delightful morning meal experience!

Came here for brunch. The place has nice aesthetics and is nice to sit in and eat/drink. This place is pricier than most cafes. Nice as a one off though. Different types of bread and ingredients used. Tasty food and pleasurable experience. Has a toilet on the premises. They take Amex here too which is good.
