Fantastic meal - everything delicious but the highlights were a goats cheddar mousse, lamb with Jerusalem artichokes and a beetroot sticky toffee pudding. Lovely vibe - busy but you can hear each other speak, great art on the walls and friendly service. Wish I lived nearer for this to be my local!

I came across this restaurant by chance when in Sherborne. The food was absolutely delicious. I had a starter and main dish. The duck was superb - so tasty and delicious. The service was really good too. I will come back again with my husband next time. I haven't tasted such delicious food in a long time. 😊

What a lovely surprise 30th meal for my partners birthday. Gabriela is such an amazing host, couldn’t thank her enough for all her help with organising. The food was outstanding! I had the goats cheese mousse to start and it’s the best starter I’ve ever had! Have been before and will definitely return. Great value for money and lovely/friendly staff. 10/10

Decent lunch. I would have preferred a bit less of the “brulee” and a bit more crab meat, maybe with a bit of a citrus twist. We saved our bread and butter that came out at the start as it does need that. The meat (chicken and duck) were good quality but maybe lacked a bit of seasoning. Fries were tasty.

1:1 barista course - 10/10 I purchased an espresso machine and grinder a year ago (La Pavoni). After many inconsistent coffees ‘and getting to know my machine’ my wife arranged the barista course for my birthday. The course teaches you the basic art of how to make coffee and how to adjust the flavour. You would think a coffee shop teaching people how to make coffee is counterintuitive, but I think this is a true reflection of their cause - to educate and have everyone drinking great coffee! Thanks Alex. You have bettered our daily rituals! If you enjoy making coffee at home, I highly recommend booking in. D

The best coffee house in Sherborne
.maybe the whole of Dorset. G and Alex are wonderful blokes who are chatty, friendly and really know their coffee. I’ve never had a bad cup and have been coming back for more for three years. The vibes are immaculate too and this cafe is dog and child friendly making it the perfect place to relax and catch up with friends or even make new ones. Highly recommend!

Ok, it's great tasting food for sure, but can get a bit noisy when busy due to the wooden decorated design inside. But it gets busy because it's good. Always best to book. Cater for parties.

An amazing maize, maze one of the best around. What a pity it's the final maze this year. A wonderful attraction for all the family with all the usual facilities including a superb little cafe. Play area for younger children and very reasonably priced. Staff extremely friendly and helpful adding to the experience. The maze is open all summer until early September so get in there quickly for a brilliant day out!

Good location on the edge of Sherborne to let the kids run and play while you sit comfortably in the old farm yard with a cake and coffee or maybe a light lunch.

I love this little place that has a larger personality especially around the holidays, nice food, nice helpful staff, and full of friendlyness. It gets bigger and louder during the holidays and summer months when it opens the play area and the maize maze. Lovely for families and children. I have to say it pleases my heart to see this place set up for children's outside play, they certainly keep you on your toes, even when you are not part of that group or party, it has a little downside life everywhere when is busy hearing can be an issue even when sat face to face, so if you're expecting a wee cuppa or coffee or lunch in peace or relative quite here, you honestly won't know until you get there. It's just lovely hearing the children and youths being a play outside and not attached to their phones or computers.

Went with my sister ( a local ) and daughter and granddaughter. Food was really lovely. Highly reccomend the quiche. The play area is safe and really well laid out. We were staying just along the road on holiday so made a visit here on our last day. The bacon sarnies were delicious and the homemade cakes were amazing! Lots of cakes to choose from, we shared lemon drizzle and courgette and lime cake which was so good! A really lovely tea room, gallery and shop definitely recommend and very reasonably priced. The staff were all really friendly and helpful too we sat outside in the sunshine and they brought us out cushions for our chairs which was so nice of them. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing!

A beautiful village cafe in the heart of Yetminster. I've enjoyed some amazing vegan food including a gooey vegetable toasty and their wide selection of cakes, like Jaffa cake cake and blueberry and banana. The coffee is lovely, the staff are so welcoming and they put on brilliant activities for kids - we went to a scary Halloween room they'd put on! You don't regret popping in for tea and cake, lunch or one of their awesome events.

We had noticed posts appear on Facebook from the Old School Gallery, but had never been to Yetminster before and were curious to find out more. From the moment we opened the door, we were warmly greeted by Alex and the team, as well as other diners and were made to feel very much at home. The lunch menu was superb, with an extensive list of tempting hearty and unusual soups, quiches etc. I opted for the falafel curry with rice which was delicious. Throughout the meal, Alex, her Mum and Team were very attentive and the atmosphere of the Old School Gallery was incredible. I was tempted to a piece of flapjack - no ordinary flapjack and highly recommended. What an incredible find! We need to return very soon and wish all at the Old School Gallery the very best as they really deserve it.

I have never seen a Christmas display as good as this, there was so much choice it just went on and on, the words amazing and outstanding, just don't convey how good this is, must have taken ages to put this together. I would have taken loads more pictures but you just need to go. 2024 update gone again will make this a yearly visit, another amazing set up, this is the best Christmas display I have seen anywhere, just go and see it, by the way there are some lovely cakes in the cafe there as well.

The scrambled eggs and croissant above average and the coffee excellent. I will be back next time I need breakfast or coffee in Sherborne.

I visited for the first time last week. Having recently had a kidney transplant and being on some pretty heavy meds, I was exhausted and more than a little out of it. I kind of half fell through the door and said 'I need a drink and a sandwich or something', I must have looked like a mad woman. The staff barely batted an eye and were so friendly and accommodating. I got a delicious sandwich and drink to take away, served with a smile, and at a very reasonable price considering the quality. The sandwich was really yummy, and I'm not just saying that because I was hungry. I'll definitely be back, hopefully a bit more together in myself and I highly recommend. Lovely place. My new fave in Sherborne.

My wife and I called in for morning coffee and did not have to wait for a table. The waitress was polite and friendly. My wife had a flapjack and I had the best cheese scone I have ever tasted - plenty of cheese, not too doughy, a real treat. You can pay cash or by card and covid measures were in place. Whilst we didn't have anything more substantial, there was plenty on offer, both to have in or to take away, as well as other things you could buy.
