We used Cartails to provide bar service at our wedding recently. After initial conversations with Harrison, Josh took over the planning of the event and both were brilliant to work with. They clearly had a wealth of experience planning the events, and were able to offer excellent advice and ideas without us ever feeling like we were being upsold. They provided everything we asked for, going to particularly effort to make sure we could have a slushy machine serving Froze. They went above and beyond in making sure the drinks offering was exactly what we were looking for. On the day, they constructed the circular bar quickly and efficiently, and this looked fantastic in the middle of the marquee. Drinks service throughout the whole day went perfectly, with Harrison and his team managing both the main circular bar and outside horsebox bar brilliantly. The Froze was a real hit and the after dinner cocktails went down very well too. The site was left spotless at the end of the night. We would happily recommend Cartails to anyone planning their own wedding, and would love to work with them again should we have any other large events.

We had a wonderful experience with Harrison and the whole Cartails team over our two day wedding celebration. We used Cartails for our wedding in July. They were absolutely great, perfect from start to finish. We had lots of zoom meetings before the wedding making sure everything was exactly as we wanted, and Josh was always on hand to answer questions and change things around to make them perfect. The team were fab on the day - the guests all said how lovely the bar staff were, and the cocktails were DELICIOUS! Couldn't recommend them more.

The place is super cozy, with stunning, picturesque views. I went there with my art group for a plein air painting session and absolutely loved it. The serene surroundings and well-kept beautiful garden make it a perfect spot for relaxing and getting inspired. Highly recommended!

Shillingstone House is a charming old country manor house with a lovely setting ideal for weddings. We went with an art group to paint "Plein Air". The gardens were full of colour with interesting plants for botanical studies. The kitchen garden was delightful in its assortment of plants and blooms. The house itself is full of charming architectural angles and loads of character and makes for a great artistic opportunity to capture its charm. There are beautiful old trees and lovely wide lawns, the host and hostess were very friendly and accommodating.

We had my nieces tipi wedding at this stunning setting. Lord and lady Caroline made us feel so welcome. They seamlessly helped with the little bits behind the scenes to make a very perfect wedding weekend. Having already done a tipi wedding five years previously. I can only support and endorse what a great place for a wedding with such super hosts Lord and Lady Michael and Caroline Salt.

What a pleasure it was to perform a Handfasting at the weekend in the utterly stunning setting of the grounds of Shillingstone House... one of the most beautiful venues I've seen yet - flawlessly styled and spotlessly clean, with breath taking countryside views and wonderful hosts. Can't recommend highly enough xx

The communication, team setup, as well as the services overall was amazing! They provide a full detailed timescale of when they'd arrive, and when they'd open the tables up and leaving time, all around the time of our event, planned perfectly. We had a 1920's themed Christmas Dinner for our company, and nothing made it more authentic than Funtasia's Casino Tables! Would highly recommend!

No issues whatsoever. I personally didn't use the casino tables but they were busy during our party and everyone has said how they enjoyed them, the fake money and the staff were perfect. I, myself, took full advantage of the photobooth which was easy to use, great props and the lovely young chap was on hand if any help needed. It was all ready for when we got there and loved the positioning of the entertainment.

We hired a photo booth for our wedding this summer. The booth was a lot of fun and really loved our print outs, guest book and props. Also plus of having online copies of each print. Only feedback we had is the member of staff who attended to man the booth did nothing the whole evening, slightly unsure why they were there. For example did not encourage people to use the guest book or the booth, just stood silently next to it all night.

We hired Funtasia to provide a race night for a charity event recently. Right from the first email enquiry, they have always been quick to respond and provided clear instructions on what we needed to do prior to the event. Throughout the process they let me know different ways to make sure we raised the maximum amount of money. On the night, they arrived early, set everything up themselves and run the entire evening faultlessly. I would highly recommend Funtasia for your event.

We booked our wedding plans well in advance of the current pandemic for 2021 and found Sweet Forrest to provide us with decoration for the venue. Unfortunately, due the pandemic we had to rethink our big day and Sarah at Sweet Forrest was absolutely marvellous to us. She made the whole process very easy, has been very supportive to us and completely professional. When cancelling our plans, Sarah offered us a refund without any hesitation and processed this instantly. We are so appreciative of this at such a difficult time and would highly recommend Sweet Forrest to anyone looking for wedding decor hire. Thank you Sarah!

We got married at Cott Farm in May this year and it was the perfect venue! The first time we went to Cott Farm we knew it was the place for us - the countryside surrounding it is beautiful, and the barn itself has all the facilities we were looking for, as well as the ability to personalise which nowadays with wedding venues are hard to come by! We had the venue for the whole wedding weekend which made everything feel so relaxed as we weren't rushed to set up or clean up. And then Becca & Ollie - it's difficult to sum up how helpful and friendly they are and I really don't think anything I can write will do them justice. From the day we met them, all the way up to the day after the wedding, they were on hand to help with everything - before the wedding: answering random questions via email, recommending vendors and order of the day; day of the wedding: being on hand with Pimm's for us when we arrived at the venue, fluffing up my dress for photos.... honestly I could go on, but all I can say is that the day was less stressful knowing that we were in their hands. If you're looking for somewhere in the countryside where you can create the wedding of your dreams with excellent owners and a relaxed feel - Cott Farm is the one.

We enjoyed exceptional hospitality in beautiful surroundings at this wonderful wedding venue. We were guests, yet the owners and staff made extra effort to ensure we had a very pleasant experience. Of course the bride and groom, their families and support crew, created a memorable 2 days. We also camped overnight and were provided with a hearty breakfast the morning after...much needed. Attention to detail was outstanding (e.g. the ladies WC had a basket of essentials) the grounds were impeccable and decor was stunning (in a rustic, unpretentious way). We just cannot fault them, thank you.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Communication was brilliant throughout with Kirsty, and no question or request was too much! The styling for our special day ticked every single box for us, and the venue staff and even the registrar kept saying they had never seen New Place Hotel styled so well. The colour scheme and style we had imagined in our heads - Kirsty and the team made it happen! From start to finish a 5 star service and I would highly recommend!

I got married back in August and I remember, myself and my husband took the time by ourselves to look at our barn and we were speechless. The amount of detail and effort was incredible. When we first visited House of Styling's barn, we were blown away by the range or different items and themes available to rent for our special day. Kirsty took care to listen to what we wanted and came up with a quote for us that we were able to amend as time went on and we knew more about what we wanted for our wedding. Kirsty always responded to emails quickly and was willing to have phone calls too for me to run through questions before the big day. I worried about being "in the way" when we were putting out our own few bits and pieces or collecting them and she was very reassuring that it was our day and that they were there to support us. Kirsty and Laura make a great team and seem to really care about the detail of what they're doing, I was so pleased with the work that they had done and the care and effort they put into making sure our venue looked just like I imagined!

This was the venue of our dreams! Gail was fantastic, always happy to help with our many questions and walked us through everything we needed to know. The grounds are stunning and it was such a privilege to be able to wander around - locations for beautiful photos are endless! The barn is gorgeous, the lounge area upstairs was brilliant for our guests who wanted a rest and the toilets are beautifully decorated! As soon as we arrived, we knew Hinton was the one!

We got married at HSM Estate in September and it was a truly wonderful day, it is difficult to adequately describe what a perfect venue it is - photos truly don't do it justice. Our wedding ceremony was held on the grounds behind the Tithe Barn and we had our meal and reception inside the barn, but there is so much else here to see - the grounds are large and full of character, and different areas for guests to explore and enjoy. We were lucky to have perfect weather, however this venue would be magical in any conditions. We were looking for a dry hire venue which we could really make our own, and HSM was exactly what we wanted. The building is beautiful, and has practical elements such as a stage (with curtain), a mezzanine with sofas, a small kitchen and large side area where caterers can set up - and REALLY nice toilets (recently refurbished) - the management at this venue are great at listening to and acting on feedback, and are always adding details and changing elements where they can, to keep the venue at the highest possible standard and with ease of functionality. Our point of contact for viewing the venue, Gail, was also hired as our wedding coordinator. She really went above and beyond for us, from the initial viewing of the venue, to the additional visits afterward, right through to the final planning stages and of course the day itself. She has amazing knowledge of the venue and the history, which really added so much to the experience and made it so much more than just a venue. In addition to the venue itself, there is some accommodation on-site which is brilliant for bridal party / groomsmen or whoever you need to be close by. It was great to be able to get ready and walk out to the ceremony, no transport required. The cottages are also gorgeous and well supplied. We couldn't recommend this place enough as a wedding venue, it was everything we wanted and so much more, and our guests all had a wonderful day. 5 stars is not enough!

We cannot recommend this venue highly enough! We got married last month (March 2024) at the St Peter's Church (right there on the estate), followed by reception in the Tithe barn. It was stunning whatever the weather, and the perfect choice if you are going more winter/out of the summer season, because the barn was so cosy. Gail was incredible throughout and in all honesty, we really didn't have to do a lot - the venue has so much character of its own, it's all any of our guests could talk about! We will be thinking about the day and the estate for a long time! Couldn't have picked a better venue.

I cannot recommend this venue highly enough, our wedding here was absolutely perfect. The barn itself is lovely but the real gem is the outdoor space - it’s stunning and there is so much of it! We had a stunning ceremony in the middle garden, drinks reception in the sunken garden and then the walled garden just outside the barn made a beautiful extension for our reception. We were given the freedom to make our vision come true and it was just incredible. Gail was a saint throughout the entire booking and planning process, and was a godsend on the day! The cottages are wonderful too, they are well worth their money. The pub down the road was the perfect place for the evening before for a big family meet up as well as a more intimate wedding party breakfast the following morning. Having the venue for the whole 3 days was just amazing - we were never rushed and we had the time to do what we wanted and needed to do. The flexibility with everything was just fantastic, I am so so glad we chose this beautiful venue, it was perfect. Thank you so much :)

What a wonderful venue! We have seen a lot of wedding venues but Yarlington House is always a highlight, we have performed at several weddings here and each year they have a fantastic high end marquee and stage for musicians. The catering is always lovely and venue and bar staff very friendly, we look forward to the next time we return to play here again. We had our wedding over a weekend - we could not have asked for a better wedding! The staff were so nice, professional and helpful. Georgia is a fantastic events manager and made the weekend run with such ease. Being able to have your friends and family stay onsite made it all that more special, it really felt like a home. We also made good use of all the amenities throughout the weekend. I could not recommend North Cadbury enough

We used NCC for a week for a family holiday, Sangeet and Fusion Wedding, and it was an absolute dream! We looked at many venues before landing on NCC as we both have big families and we wanted everyone to be able to stay on location. NCC's main house rooms and the coach houses meant we could get everyone over and spend time together for a bit longer than the usual weekend. During the week i think we actually used all of the many many activites that NCC has to offer. Everything from tennis, swimming, the snooker, golf, croquet, casino, pedaloes, cycling, etc. everyone had something they could enjoy, on their own or in small groups. but we could come together for meals and talk about our day. The size of the venue itself was just right for us. The ballroom was big enough for the sangeet and ceremony and party, while the north hall served as perfect welcome, canapes and drinks area. NCC's partners like Hot Air baloon, Shooting experience, and the Croupiers were an delight to work with too. All of the NCC staff were brilliant, always someone around if we had any queries, including at 7am when people wanted an early morning swim post events! NCC staff ran our open bar for two nights and we very impressed with their professionalism and how well everything ran! Suzanne was our event manager and she was deligent and kept us focused on organising everything we needed to get organised to make sure things ran smoothly. We had a couple of Electric cars and NCC just had new chargers installed. While i was trying to figure out how to use them, Wendy, the techie, was on hand to show us how it worked. All our family kept saying what a memorable week they had, and I am sure we will be talking about our week at NCC for a very long time! Amazing memories created. Thanks NCC!

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing weddings at North Cadbury Court and each experience has been truly delightful. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds that create a picturesque setting. Cocktail hour on the lawn is especially breathtaking, and many wedding guests have commented on how lovely the venue is. One of my favourite moments is capturing a couple’s portraits at golden hour, which consistently delivers stunning photographs. The wedding team at North Cadbury Court is outstanding. They provide exceptional support and treat each couple with genuine care and attention, ensuring that the planning process is smooth and enjoyable. I often feel like a valued member of their team rather than just an outside supplier, which enhances the overall experience. Without a doubt, North Cadbury Court ranks as one of my top venues for wedding photography. Wow! What an incredible venue. Our wedding party used every single facility over the extended celebration weekend: the pool, the lake, the church, the casino, the disco, the morning room, the billiard room, the ballroom and all the beautiful en suite bedrooms. On the morning of the wedding we went on a 5k run around the grounds. Absolutely fabulous!

We thought we were just looking for wicker thrones, but instead found Claire, who transformed our visions into a more beautiful reality than we could have ever expected. Claire went above and beyond to help us curate our day and we cannot thank her enough. The props are beautiful and Claire styled them perfectly, she even went out of her way to help us set up the venue and add the final perfect touches. We were super lucky to have won a competition on Instagram to use the 'Lush Botanical Backdrop' at our wedding. It was really beautiful and worked perfectly as the focal point in our ceremony and then later as a photobooth backdrop. We bonded with Claire instantly as she could see our vision and brought it to life! In the lead up to the wedding there was no issue with making small changes here and there. The level of communication was fantastic. On the day, we hired Own Your Throne to style and I don’t know what we would have done without the styling option. I had complete confidence in Claire and the decor surpassed my expectations. Absolutely stunning. 10/10 would recommend
