The course is an amazing way of fast-tracking into the Events industry! You get to learn from people who have been successful and are currently working within the industry, and find out their useful tips and tricks. There is so much content, yet it is so easy to follow, and you feel supported but not pressured when completing the course. I definitely recommend Event Crowd to other aspiring Event Managers!

Just finished up the Events Crowd online Events course, and I've got to say, it's been an absolute game-changer. While balancing a full-time gig in recruitment, I dove deep into the ins and outs of the events industry. The course structure is spot-on, with modules building up in a way that clicks. From start to finish, the seasoned event professionals, serving as instructors, shared their industry wisdom and expertise, which offers a valuable insight. Plus, all the sessions are in video format, which made life way easier for me as a dyslexic learner. The virtual classroom vibe was solid. The instructors brought a dynamic and engaging teaching style, fostering a cool relaxed community vibe within the sessions. The platform was user-friendly, and the Event Crowd team had my back and have offered me such solid support throughout. A major win for me is the flexibility that the course has offered me. Balancing work and learning isn't a walk in the park, but this course made it manageable whilst working a full-time job. I would recommend this course to anyone who has an interest in the events industry. I am incredibly impressed with the teaching and content provided. The content is engaging yet in depth and structured in an organised way that is simple to understand. I have just completed the first two modules of the events management diploma and I have to say that so far I am really enjoying it. The lessons are clear and easy to follow, the production level is really high and the calibre of people that have agreed to help teach different aspects of the module is extremely high. I have connected with a few people on LinkedIn and they have been super friendly and supportive. We will never forget Hope Farm for making us feel so special, and for making our wedding celebration extra special too. When we first met Sue, we knew that Hope Farm was the venue we wanted to get married in. The animals, the landscape and the warm welcome we received told us that we simply had to get married here. Sue and the team at Hope Farm covered every corner in helping us plan the day and made us feel like we had their absolute support all the way through whenever we had questions, throughout the planning stages, the night before and on the day. We feel so lucky to have come across Hope Farm for our wedding, and to have been able to have our wedding here. Our guests said it matched our personalities perfectly, as we personalised the day with help from the Hope Farm team. It even inspired our friends to make the move on their partners too due to the romantic and relaxed setting of the whole event! We first visted the venue just under a year ago and were blown away by the gorgeous views, chilled atmosphere and the mix of contemporary/rustic charm. Luckily we were able to secure the last available date in 2023 and it certainly lived up to our expectations! We celebrated our wedding at Hope Farm last weekend and had the most fabulous day. Sue and the team were welcoming and attentive, whilst also giving you the space and freedom to decorate and enjoy the venue as you pleased throughout the weekend. The facilities are beautifully finished and we had countless compliments from guests who particularly enjoyed the different areas on the farm to explore in between the main events of the day and not just being stuck inside a stiff hotel/venue.The alpacas and baby goats were a massive hit with our guests - the perfect photobomb for our gorgeous pictures! A beautiful venue with treasured memories, we hope to one day come back as guests or maybe to celebrate an anniversary! Can't recommend it enough x

Having had our wedding there last weekend (31st August) I can honestly say that this is BY FAR the best venue around. Sue, Nigel, Matt and Georgia worked tirelessly to ensure the day ran smoothly alongside our caterers. Nothing was too much of an ask. Wonderful venue, beautiful decor already in place and really not needing much additional decor to be provided by ourselves, it was the most perfect day.

Stunning venue! We cannot recommend this venue and Sue and her team enough for the amazing job they do. They couldn't do enough to make sure we had the most magical day. From the moment we saw the place, we fell in love and knew we had to get married here. Then we met Sue and she put us at ease straight away, so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much hassle. Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Communication was brilliant throughout with Kirsty, and no question or request was too much! The styling for our special day ticked every single box for us, and the venue staff and even the registrar kept saying they had never seen New Place Hotel styled so well. The colour scheme and style we had imagined in our heads - Kirsty and the team made it happen! From start to finish a 5 star service and I would highly recommend!

A wonderful team! Kirsty and the House of Styling decorated our venue in August. They were so helpful in the run up to our wedding, creating a moodboard for us so we could visualise how everything would look. I highly recommend The House Of Styling. Kirsty and her team are absolutely fantastic. I got married back in August and I remember, myself and my husband took the time by ourselves to look at our barn and we were speechless. The amount of detail and effort was incredible. I had the pleasure of meeting Rosie in my capacity as a wedding celebrant. She is a consummate professional has a fabulous sense of style, is hugely creative and an enviable address book of contacts from which to draw. Instantly likeable and someone you just know will be a constant calm, focused and reassuring presence who will help turn your dream for your event into a reality. Her dedication to the job has no bounds. I love this image of her working hard despite the near tropical conditions at a wedding we worked on together in the summer last year. Having Rosie as part of our wedding day (and the months leading up to it) was one of the best decisions we made. She was so calm, composed and “on it” throughout the whole process that we couldn’t help but feel that way too! She is incredibly knowledgeable and just bubbling with amazing ideas. Having a marquee wedding on our family farm, we really appreciated her expert eye but also her focus on the environment and sustainability. My only regret is that we discovered Rosie about halfway through our planning - I only wish we could have worked with her from the beginning.

Oakleaf provided the majority of the infrastructure for our garden wedding. Right from the beginning Tim and the team helped us narrow down what we needed and gave their opinion on what would work and what wouldn't. They provided clear and timely responses to questions in the build up and solutions to last minute needs. Everything was delivered, put up and taken down with minimal fuss and nothing was too much trouble. The final set up was very premium and exactly the aesthetic we were looking for. We recently used Oakleaf’s services over the course of our wedding weekend. They provided 4 large tipis, luxury portaloos and general help throughout the day. The tipis looked fantastic both outside and inside, especially the central bar setup. We interacted with Tim multiple times in the build up to the wedding and always found him accommodating and helpful. Oakleaf worked well with our other suppliers across the wedding and were well-prepared and professional throughout. A special shout out to the team managing the torrential rainfall during the weekend! We would thoroughly recommend Oakleaf’s services and would happily use them again in the future.

We used Winterborne Hire & Styling for our wedding at Abbots Court and couldn’t have been happier with the service provided! From the first visit to the styling barn with Dawn right up until the wedding day itself and after the event, Dawn was on hand to help with any questions we had. We opted to set the venue decorations up ourselves the day prior to the wedding and this was made so easy as the beautiful arches were set up for us and the rest of the items we ordered came in extremely organised boxes which saved a lot of time. Absolutely fantastic job from Winterborne Hire & Styling! We rented some beautiful table decorations and flower pillars that complimented our wedding venue perfectly.They have a great range of items in their showroom and Dawn was so helpful and patient in taking through what items to choose. Winterborne Hire and Styling were incredible at making our day extra special. I visited their lovely show room a few months prior to our wedding. After discussing what we needed, they produced some spectacular arrangements to suit the theme for our wedding and to match our fresh flowers. They delivered them on time and installed them ready for the big day, so we did not need to lift a finger. We are so glad we went with them as the arrangements really elevated our ceremony area. Winterborne were absolutely brilliant and so helpful throughout our wedding journey. They decorated our ladders with faux plants, and the results were stunning—the photos speak for themselves. We received so many compliments, and you honestly couldn’t tell the plants were artificial. In the lead-up, the team was incredibly supportive. They ensured everything was set up quickly, allowing us to move on with the rest of the decorations without feeling rushed. They even offered additional staff to help with other decorative elements, which was such a kind gesture. We just can’t recommend Winterborne enough!

After two years of planning with Gail as our main contact at Hinton St Mary we got married in April 2024, we had a truly wonderful wedding. Gail was phenomenal and very good with her recommendations throughout our planning. All our recommended suppliers knew the venue well making our planning easier. The venue was dry hire , many of our guests travelled from near and far so we made use of the venue from Friday to Sunday. The blank canvas of the barn was turned into something of our own which we decorated with fairy lights , rustic tables and chairs and greenery. The band played from the stage allowing a large dance floor below , the kitchen and toilets were great and easy to access. Other bonuses of the venue is St Peter’s church is just a few 100 meters from the venue and easy access for all guests . Accommodation onsite is available to the bridal party and those who need to stay on site , we found the accommodation to be very comfortable and convenient all weekend. We couldn’t recommend Hinton St Mary highly enough as a wedding venue.

I cannot recommend this venue highly enough, our wedding here was absolutely perfect. The barn itself is lovely but the real gem is the outdoor space - it’s stunning and there is so much of it! We had a stunning ceremony in the middle garden, drinks reception in the sunken garden and then the walled garden just outside the barn made a beautiful extension for our reception. We were given the freedom to make our vision come true and it was just incredible. Gail was a saint throughout the entire booking and planning process, and was a godsend on the day! The cottages are wonderful too, they are well worth their money. The pub down the road was the perfect place for the evening before for a big family meet up as well as a more intimate wedding party breakfast the following morning. Having the venue for the whole 3 days was just amazing - we were never rushed and we had the time to do what we wanted and needed to do. The flexibility with everything was just fantastic, I am so so glad we chose this beautiful venue, it was perfect. Thank you so much :)

This was the venue of our dreams! Gail was fantastic, always happy to help with our many questions and walked us through everything we needed to know. The grounds are stunning and it was such a privilege to be able to wander around - locations for beautiful photos are endless! The barn is gorgeous, the lounge area upstairs was brilliant for our guests who wanted a rest and the toilets are beautifully decorated! As soon as we arrived, we knew Hinton was the one!

We cannot recommend this venue highly enough! We got married last month (March 2024) at the St Peter's Church (right there on the estate), followed by reception in the Tithe barn. It was stunning whatever the weather, and the perfect choice if you are going more winter/out of the summer season, because the barn was so cosy. Gail was incredible throughout and in all honesty, we really didn't have to do a lot - the venue has so much character of its own, it's all any of our guests could talk about! We will be thinking about the day and the estate for a long time! Couldn't have picked a better venue.

Katie is and has been an absolute dream. She took our mad ramblings and vision and turned it into absolute perfection, our wedding day was exquisite. Her talent for venue styling and floristry is utterly incredible. Our flowers, not just our bouquets but also the general venue flowers, were simply stunning, she absolutely nailed the colour theme. It was better than we could have even imagined. There were so many comments on the day about how beautiful the venue looked. Not only this but Katie provided us with wedding planning services too. As we were so far away this was invaluable. We knew we were in safe hands. Nothing was too much trouble, and our late night/panicked emails and messages were met with nothing but love and enthusiasm. She provided a much needed sense of calm when the inevitable wedding stress and worry took over. No words can actually do Katie's work, or how much she has meant to us over the past 18 months, justice.
