Well what can I say?! Our wedding day was an absolute dream from start to finish. The team is absolutely incredible, with special shout outs to Emma for her impeccable organisation and to Andrew for his flawless service. We had several mobility challenged members of our party and they left this event feeling like they’d been treated like absolute queens! Nothing was too much trouble, they were always checking everyone was happy and often anticipated what we wanted before we had even realised! We were in super safe hands and could fully relax into the day and just enjoy it. We will forever treasure these special memories that were made possible by this incredible team of people.

WHAT A VENUE! Having shot at venues all over Mapperton is just incredible. It has everything, and I mean everything. Multiple choices for the ceremony, STUNNING grounds, gorgeous barn. It honestly has it all. The staff are wonderful, so welcoming and really take care of their suppliers - which means they take care of their couples. It's a dream venue!

I've had the pleasure of providing bespoke wedding flowers for couples at this venue for a few years now and it's one of the most stunning venue's in the south west. Ideal for weddings as there are so many beautiful vistas and backdrops for fantastic photos. Kat and Charlotte provide a friendly service and will advise on all aspects of your big day.

The absolute most perfect wedding venue ever! Mapperton had everything that we wanted and we absolutely fell in love with it, no venue in the area compared!! It was a complete blank canvas in the coach house which we really liked and there were many ceremony options (inside and outside) but we opted with the croquet lawn which was simply stunning. The gardens are sensational and many of our guests have said it’s the most beautiful wedding venue they have ever been to. There’s two cottages on site too so we used one for the bridal party and then one for the grooms, this was such an amazing option to have and really added to the whole weekend experience! Holly our wedding co-ordinator was incredible, so kind and understanding. No question was too big and she helped us quickly on any wedding advice / help that we needed. We really appreciated her being there through anything that we needed, she was amazing on the day and it all ran smoothly which was completely all her hard work but also leading up to the wedding too. She helped so much & we truly appreciate her! She really understood our vision. If you are thinking of booking Mapperton for your wedding then DO IT, it was simply a dream come true that we will remember for the rest of our lives!! :)

The decor was stunning. Everyone complimented the set up of the ceremony room and how lovely the reception tables were. The Photo Booth was a massive hit with everyone. The chocolate foundation was good and the children loved it, as well as the sweet cart. Communication was good and always available for any queries.

Truly magical is the only words I can use to describe our wedding decor. I had a vision in mind and put all my trust in "a touch of class". I actually changed venues just so I could use them and I'm so glad I did. From the first message right until the day communication was prompt and informative and the day itself just blew us away ! Our guests commented it was tge most stunning set up they have ever seen and i totally agree. Absolutely perfect in every way !!

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Communication was brilliant throughout with Kirsty, and no question or request was too much! The styling for our special day ticked every single box for us, and the venue staff and even the registrar kept saying they had never seen New Place Hotel styled so well. The colour scheme and style we had imagined in our heads - Kirsty and the team made it happen! From start to finish a 5 star service and I would highly recommend!

When we first visited House of Styling's barn, we were blown away by the range or different items and themes available to rent for our special day. Kirsty took care to listen to what we wanted and came up with a quote for us that we were able to amend as time went on and we knew more about what we wanted for our wedding. Kirsty always responded to emails quickly and was willing to have phone calls too for me to run through questions before the big day. I worried about being "in the way" when we were putting out our own few bits and pieces or collecting them and she was very reassuring that it was our day and that they were there to support us. Kirsty and Laura make a great team and seem to really care about the detail of what they're doing, I was so pleased with the work that they had done and the care and effort they put into making sure our venue looked just like I imagined!

A wonderful team! Kirsty and the House of Styling decorated our venue in August. They were so helpful in the run up to our wedding, creating a moodboard for us so we could visualise how everything would look. I highly recommend using Ellie from Wild flower ceremonies as your wedding celebrant. Ellie delivered a personal, funny and beautiful ceremony for us. My partner and I had slightly different views on what the ceremony should be with him being slightly more traditional than me. Ellie got the tone so spot on and kept it light hearted and fun whilst still having some of the rituals that I wanted. Wow, Ellie!! I first enjoyed one of Ellie's ceremony as a guest at a friend's wedding. Her energy, enthusiasm, wit, story telling and care and affection made the ceremony a truly special and memorable time. It was an easy choice when it came to my own wedding who should be our celebrant. Ellie, once again blew the guests away with a ceremony exactly as we wanted - laidback and relaxed but to make every guest fell and play a part. Noone expected to be proper belly laughing throughout and everyone said they've never been to a ceremony like it, but it was they'd been to! Ellie listened to what we thought we wanted and guided us with great ideas and was better than we could have ever imagined. Ellie created and delivered our Handfasting Marriage Ceremony. I cannot rate her highly enough. She first offered a couple of consultations to get to know us, our story and find out what we wanted from the ceremony. From the offset Ellie was very easy to talk to. She is also incredibly intuitive, so this made the ‘script forming’ stage very easy. She even picked up on subtleties from the ways in which we interacted during our consultations to perfectly represent us as a couple within the ceremony speech. On the wedding day Ellie was super helpful with practical (and emotional) tasks. Her warm and calm approach certainly made my groom feel at ease while he waited! We have had so many glowing reviews from our guests with regards to Ellie and the ceremony. Some family members who are quite religious even said that this was the best wedding they had been to, and that the ceremony was surprisingly inclusive and interesting. I attended a beautiful Wedding Handfasting Celebration facilitated by Ellie in December 2021 for some dear friends of mine. Ellie was exceptional. She was engaging, genuine, calm and welcoming to everyone. As a facilitator she was inspiring and I felt honoured to be present. It was one of the most wonderful weddings I’ve ever attended, the ceremony was moving and so bespoke to my lovely friends. I thoroughly recommend Ellie!

Nicky was very accommodating with the items i required. She send me photo's of what i wanted, to give me an idea on what i was hiring along with making the whole process nice and straightforward. Once the items were collected (by my dad) and bought to the venue i could certainly see Nicky looks after her props as the quality of the items were really good. I would thoroughly recommend Nicky and her business to anyone conducting any number of events not just weddings. Emma and her business is incredible! Her response time for start was second to none. I used canvas and dreams for my cousins birthday back in May, and had such a fab experience I knew I had to use her again for my dads surprise 60th Disco The second Emma arrived to my house we greeted with a big hug and even though storm Bert came and changed us being able to have a marquee, Emma kept calm and decorated the house like a professional venue. I usually do it but it was so nice to spend time on other parts than the main organising. I have attached photos below and next time I have an event, I will 100% be contacting Emma again :) 10/10

We hired the cinema tent for my son’s Birthday. It was absolutely brilliant. Emma and her team were fantastic. Every little detail was thought of. They all absolutely loved it. Would highly recommend and will definitely and use again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rented the deluxe package from canvas and dreams for by daughters 16th birthday. It was amazing, right from the start Emma was on hand for any questions, concerns I had. It arrived on time was installed in the garden without any help and you could tell she had thought of all the little things to make the time we had really enjoyable, sweets, popcorn, bottle of fizzy, lighting everything was supplied and looked amazing. Will definitely be renting again cannot recommend canvas and dreams enough.

I was very lucky to have won the Canvas and Dreams competition; which meant I was able to choose from one of their packages. I went for the Cinema Package, so I could have an outdoor cinema experience with some of my friends. The service this company provided was absolutely amazing. The set up was very quick. They were very friendly and even added special touches, such as marshmallows, sweets and popcorn. The interior was lovely and comfortable. Blankets and seating enough for all of my friends. The sound system was very very good and had a wide selection of movies to choose from. They even left an instruction book, incase we got stuck with anything. All of my friends, myself and even my children absolutely loved the cinema experience. Collection was also very quick and easy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for an outdoor cinema experience or something special for a kids birthday or any special occasion. We held our wedding at Antrobus House and I couldn’t have wished for a better day. The venue was beautiful and just amazing for a wedding, and Catherine, who helped to facilitate the day was perfectly perfect. Nothing was too much trouble and the professionalism shown was beyond expectation. Any issues on the day were dealt with before I even noticed, and Catherine had the most wonderful kind and organised nature which put me at ease throughout the planning stage and throughout our day. The place is super cozy, with stunning, picturesque views. I went there with my art group for a plein air painting session and absolutely loved it. The serene surroundings and well-kept beautiful garden make it a perfect spot for relaxing and getting inspired. Highly recommended!

A beaming bride reviewing..... I cannot begin to thank Caroline and Michael enough for letting myself and Rufus have our wedding day at Shillingstone House, not only was the day itself so magical and joyous in their beautiful grounds, but the lead up to the day was fantastic. Caroline was extremely helpful and really took the time to understand what we wanted for the day and liaised with suppliers beforehand to help the day run smoothly. It's amazing that you can hire the grounds Friday -Sunday, it made decorating a really relaxing and enjoyable task as we had the whole day Friday to set up the site. I really loved Caroline's blog on her website as it was a great way to draw inspiration and again, I could see all the love and care she put into people's weddings days. Shillingstone House definitely doesn't feel like a wedding venue where you are on a conveyor belt and just a number- the whole day felt so personal. We are so so grateful that we got to have our wedding at Shillingstone House, our guests loved the beautiful fields and sensational flowers, there really was beauty everywhere you turned! Shillingstone House is a charming old country manor house with a lovely setting ideal for weddings. We went with an art group to paint "Plein Air". The gardens were full of colour with interesting plants for botanical studies. The kitchen garden was delightful in its assortment of plants and blooms. The house itself is full of charming architectural angles and loads of character and makes for a great artistic opportunity to capture its charm. There are beautiful old trees and lovely wide lawns, the host and hostess were very friendly and accommodating.

We had my nieces tipi wedding at this stunning setting. Lord and lady Caroline made us feel so welcome. They seamlessly helped with the little bits behind the scenes to make a very perfect wedding weekend. Having already done a tipi wedding five years previously. I can only support and endorse what a great place for a wedding with such super hosts Lord and Lady Michael and Caroline Salt.

Lovely little place. You can park by the lake or walk up from Tisbury along the public footpaths.

Ashley Wood Farm is just the most phenomenal place. We rearranged our wedding 6 times during the pandemic so we could get married here. It did not disappoint. Bee and Ralph were wonderful and supported us throughout the whole journey. We finally got married in July a few weeks ago and thanks to them, we had the most incredible day. The gardens were stunning, the atmosphere was amazing and we could not have asked for a better place to get married. We stayed in the lodge for one night after the wedding which was perfect too. As soon as we viewed the Mill for our wedding venue, we booked it straight away. We had so many comments of how stunning the venue was and the staff were all fantastic throughout our wedding planning. On the day everything ran so smoothly and they accommodated to all of our needs. We had Sopley Mill as our wedding venue and it was truly lovely. Both the inside and outside of the venue have fantastic views and is just beautiful to look around. Plenty of guests commented on how amazing the mill is and I am so glad we had our wedding here. The staff at Sopley Mill are incredibly supportive and helped ensure everything that was organised for the day went smoothly, I cannot say thanks enough to them. If you are looking for an intimate and rustic venue ,then look no further than Sopley Mill. It was exactly what we had pictured . A beautiful building set on the River . It is simply stunning . The low beams , exposed brickwork and beautiful natural lighting. It really is a dream. So much space yet not too spaced out that you lose everyone . You pretty much have a blank canvas you can do exactly what you want with . Please do go and have a look .

We are so glad we chose Sopley Mill for our wedding venue. Everything was perfect and exactly how we pictured our special day. The Sopley team were so helpful with all of our various queries while we were putting our plans together. When it came to the big day, Kelly really helped to keep us at ease and ensured that everything was on track and ran to time. My biggest worry about choosing a dry hire venue was that it would be difficult to keep everything coordinated, but I needn’t have worried as Kelly made it seamless! Having a dry hire venue meant that we could add our personal touch but the venue has so much character already that it really doesn’t need much added. We loved having everything in one venue and the setting is absolutely stunning. We had so many lovely comments from our guests who were raving about how amazing the venue is too. We wanted a venue that had a relaxed, laid-back feel to it, and Sopley Mill did that perfectly. Our whole experience with the venue and the Sopley team was a real pleasure.
