When we first visited House of Styling's barn, we were blown away by the range or different items and themes available to rent for our special day. Kirsty took care to listen to what we wanted and came up with a quote for us that we were able to amend as time went on and we knew more about what we wanted for our wedding. Kirsty always responded to emails quickly and was willing to have phone calls too for me to run through questions before the big day. I worried about being "in the way" when we were putting out our own few bits and pieces or collecting them and she was very reassuring that it was our day and that they were there to support us. Kirsty and Laura make a great team and seem to really care about the detail of what they're doing, I was so pleased with the work that they had done and the care and effort they put into making sure our venue looked just like I imagined!

A wonderful team! Kirsty and the House of Styling decorated our venue in August. They were so helpful in the run up to our wedding, creating a moodboard for us so we could visualise how everything would look. We were blown away with how incredible everything looked on the day, they really brought our vision to life and all of our guest commented on how amazing everything looked. Everything was stress free and we would highly recommend Kirsty and her team at the House of Styling!

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Communication was brilliant throughout with Kirsty, and no question or request was too much! The styling for our special day ticked every single box for us, and the venue staff and even the registrar kept saying they had never seen New Place Hotel styled so well. The colour scheme and style we had imagined in our heads - Kirsty and the team made it happen! From start to finish a 5 star service and I would highly recommend!

I highly recommend The House Of Styling. Kirsty and her team are absolutely fantastic. I got married back in August and I remember, myself and my husband took the time by ourselves to look at our barn and we were speechless. The amount of detail and effort was incredible. They made my vision come true and actually, made it 100 times better! Our venue looked stunning and magical. To add to this, the whole process was so simple and easy, the team really took pressure of my shoulders, which is exactly what you need when planning a wedding. Came House is surrounded by beautiful Dorset countryside, and just by itself is an incredible venue to get married at. However the team that works there make it truly special - your wedding day and the weeks / months leading up to it can be stressful, but Melanie and the Came team helped make everything so easy and stress-free for us, which allowed us to just enjoy the day, safe in the knowledge that everything was taken care of. From planning the BBQ for our friends and family on the Friday night, recommending caterers, DJ’s and wine suppliers, to the day itself (with all of our requests and last minute curveballs!) they worked tirelessly to ensure that our wedding weekend ran smoothly and to give us the perfect day. We have had so many people say how beautiful the venue looked, and how well organised everything was… We got very lucky with the weather, and even luckier that we picked Came for our special day 😊 Thank you again so much for everything! I'm a wedding photographer. Whilst I've shot weddings at Came House it has been as the second photographer each time so I don't have bridal images to share of the venue. Instead I'll share a few room-layout images to give a flavour of it. These are all from one wedding later on in October a couple of years ago. Came House is a beautiful venue with plenty of space for guests either outside or inside. There's a beautiful garden to explore and lots of spots for those gorgeous shots of the two of you as a couple. Definitely one I enjoy working at.

We couldn't recommend Came House more as a wedding venue. Tucked away in the beautiful Dorset countryside, the house itself is stunning and such an incredible place to get married. Melanie and the team were just so lovely from the very beginning - which was so important to us, a team that we wanted to work with to bring our wedding to life. And they really came through, from helping us plan all aspects, covering every detail, and doing it all with a great calmness and friendliness. In short, they were brilliant. Get the venue right and the rest will follow... with Came, it certainly did.

My Husband & I recently held our Wedding at Came House and it was perfect! The house and grounds are just beautiful and the venue really is a hidden gem! Having use of the house from Friday- Sunday extended the celebrations for us and meant we could all get ready on site in the morning. The staff at Came were all extremely helpful and hardworking and there’s a lot of work done behind the scenes to make the Wedding day run smoothly. The marquee was beautifully set up for us and a good size for the Wedding Breakfast and Reception. The grounds are stunning and provide a number of different backdrops for your wedding photos. The orangery where we had our ceremony is also a wonderful setting for that part of the day and for photos. We couldn’t fault any part of our weekend at Came House and would highly recommend it! Nicky was very accommodating with the items i required. She send me photo's of what i wanted, to give me an idea on what i was hiring along with making the whole process nice and straightforward. Once the items were collected (by my dad) and bought to the venue i could certainly see Nicky looks after her props as the quality of the items were really good. I would thoroughly recommend Nicky and her business to anyone conducting any number of events not just weddings. If you are looking to conduct an event in Dorset, definitely check out this company. 5 * from me

Our guests had a blast with the photobooth provided by UPN. They arrived promptly and didn't get in the way of our guests. They were fab from start to finish, they even offered to stay for an extra 30 mins for free! Lovely couple, I would definitely recommend and would use UPN again!

The feedback from the room from the Quiz Show hosted by Ultimate Party Nights was fantastic, everybody thoroughly enjoyed the evening, the content was pitched at the right level. The interaction from Carl with the room was great, the quiz was topical, funny and the questions involved current themes and topics. We used this as part of our weekend fund raising and Carl helped us by raise money by auctioning points, particular stand out things were the team buzzers and the wheel of misfortune. Quite simply excellent value for money and I would definitely use Ultimate Party Nights again. A big fat 10 out of 10.

Ultimate Party Nights were incredible for our wedding day. We enquired about the dancing on clouds package with added Sparklers and initially they weren't available on our date however Carl worked his magic and was able to find some additional staff to make it happen for us, which we are extremely grateful for! On the day, Max was incredible at the venue and helped to set up everything perfectly. He was so lovely and friendly and made sure everything was set off at the perfect time! The whole experience was amazing and made our first dance feel so special! Thank you so much Ultimate Party Nights, would 100% recommend!

Absolutely fantastic job from Winterborne Hire & Styling! We rented some beautiful table decorations and flower pillars that complimented our wedding venue perfectly.They have a great range of items in their showroom and Dawn was so helpful and patient in taking through what items to choose. They are very professional and coordinated directly with the venue and had a delivery option making it seamless and efficient (one less thing for me to worry about!). Highly recommend :)

After discussing what we needed, they produced some spectacular arrangements to suit the theme for our wedding and to match our fresh flowers. Winterborne were absolutely brilliant and so helpful throughout our wedding journey. They decorated our ladders with faux plants, and the results were stunning—the photos speak for themselves. We received so many compliments, and you honestly couldn’t tell the plants were artificial. In the lead-up, the team was incredibly supportive. They ensured everything was set up quickly, allowing us to move on with the rest of the decorations without feeling rushed. They even offered additional staff to help with other decorative elements, which was such a kind gesture. We just can’t recommend Winterborne enough!

We recently had our wedding reception at Littlewood Lodge. The setting is absolutely idyllic. The attention to detail & craftsmanship of the lodge is stunning. The owner was approachable, helpful & accomodating from start to finish. We genuinely couldn’t have wished for a more perfect venue & all of our guests agreed.

We booked Abbots Court after a chance viewing and what felt like fate with our dream date becoming free the coming year. We knew the venue suited our vision of the wedding day, but it was the way that the staff saw the whole wedding weekend that filled us with the confidence to book (even with a lot of the venue still CGI drawings!) We were not disappointed when it came to our last planning meeting and seeing everything in its full glory and on the day it was perfect. The ability to have friends stay the weekend with us, the informal but beautiful look and feel of Abbots Court and the amazing staff meant we truly had the best day of our lives. We were able to make a weekend of it by hosting a sports day at the venue the next day and everything was made so easy by Kat and the team. Set up was a breeze, we were given a whole day to prepare and that took the stress out of the big day, which isn’t always a luxury that venues give couples. We booked Abbots Court, Almer Manor and the Shepard’s huts on site - all provided incredible experiences for our guests and the feedback we have had from everyone that stayed has been amazing. The luxury and well thought out venues added to our wedding experience and guests were definitely keen to try and stay again in future! We want to say a massive thank you for everything you did to answer the questions (no matter how big or small) and for all the thought and advice that went into making our day truly about us, and not just a carbon copy or a template that couldn’t be veered from. We hired Abbots Court for the weekend for an extended staff Xmas party. Incredible venue, that I’ve been to for several weddings. All the team loved it, beautiful house and location. The outside caterers were fantastic. Great cocktail barman provided. I would highly recommend it to anyone, whether a corporate weekend away, friends or a wedding.

A truly wonderful retreat, set in gorgeous countryside. The decor of the house is tasteful and calming. Lots of different spaces for people to enjoy - great kitchen, dinning room and lounge for larger groups & snug bar for hiding away in. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Christina and the team were very welcoming and helpful. I Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

We got married at Abbots Court in September 2023 and want to do it all over again! Cat was so helpful both the day before and on the wedding day setting everything up. We wouldn't have known where to start but she coordinated us all very well. Cat also kept our stress and nerves as low as she could on Wednesday which definitely got us through the ceremony!! The venue was absolutely stunning and the gardens were beautiful. You made it possible for us to have the relaxed and fun day we wanted. It was noted by guests that the wedding was different to any wedding they had been to before, but one of the best! It means so much to us that our friends and family had such an amazing time. Just got back from 5 nights at Gorwell Farm and had a fabulous time. Great location for exploring, peaceful setting, well equipped and comfortable cottage (Granary). Would definitely recommend and want to go back! The children (aged 12, 10, 10, 10, 8, 6) particularly enjoyed spending time with the horses, tennis, table tennis and basketball. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Gorwell Farm hosted our wedding (and accommodation) and was excellent from beginning to end. It’s. A beautiful, rustic venue but has been fully modernised and updated with all conveniences for a wedding whilst still retaining the rustic feel. All queries were addressed quickly and we couldn’t imagine it being any better.

We chose Gorwell for our wedding in July 2024, booking two years prior. Mary and the Team are fantastic, you can really tell that they want your big day to be a success. Mary was full of recommendations for vendors, which was amazing as it can definitely feel overwhelming. Throughout the communication was fantastic and there was no such thing as a silly question. We used Cartails for our wedding in July. They were absolutely great, perfect from start to finish. We had lots of zoom meetings before the wedding making sure everything was exactly as we wanted, and Josh was always on hand to answer questions and change things around to make them perfect. These guys were FANTASTIC! The most fun, professional team, and a wonderful addition to our wedding. The cocktails were incredible, the three bartenders were absolutely fantastic, and the bar looked perfect while running like clockwork.
