We cannot love the Matthew Oliver team more!!! The strength of the Matthew Oliver team is their relationships, which when it comes to weddings, is one of the most important qualities for a wedding planner. Because of their close ties with everyone in the industry, we were able to pull off an incredible destination wedding with ease and in budget. They were extremely resourceful when it came to all of our wild requests— they found a way each time to execute our vision. Lastly, what you find is that you spend most of your time with your wedding planners and vendors during the wedding and planning process. You definitely want to like these people during such an important moment. We are lucky to still call Matthew, Bertie and team our friends and they will definitely be in our lives forever!

My Husband and I had a bit of a chaotic start to wedding planning, starting without a wedding planner we booked a venue that fell through and were totally in over our heads. Then my TikTok algorithm presented me with Georgia, and I'm so glad it did. After Georgia scoured three different countries (for months), we then decided to have the wedding five minutes away from our home in Scotland- she didn't show one ounce of frustration. Admittedly, we were worried this was a bit less glamorous than the venues the MO team were used to but Georgia's priority is for her clients to have the wedding that is perfect for them. Georgia was professional, kind and patient through the many, many renditions of our wedding. Not only did she save the day, in the end she planned something that felt so intimate, personal and perfect for us. Georgia worked seamlessly with all of our vendors throughout the planning process, kept us on track with what we needed to be doing and was there to lend an ear if we ever felt overwhelmed. On the weekend of the wedding Georgia and her team (Bertie and Danny) were everywhere at once, they ensured the whole weekend ran exactly to plan. They worked tirelessly, but with smiling faces, they didn't show it. They are all brilliant and there wasn't a single guest who didn't mention how fantastic they were. The ability to plan an event down to such fine detail and yet maintain a sense of complete calm is a skill that should not be undervalued. When my husband and I initially met with Georgia at MatthewOliver Weddings, there was an instant connection. After a few weeks of initial planning, we had some unforseen circumstances arise and had to stop with proceeding on our planning. When we were ready to resume the wedding plans, Georgia was able to work us back into her schedule. We spent the next year and half planning our dream European adventure. Georgia was the perfect planner for us. She took all of our initial requirements (location, airport proximity, historical property, handicap accessibility) and found the perfect venue. Georgia managed every detail and vendor throughout the entire process, culminating in the best weekend of our lives. From sourcing local Flamanco dancers for the welcome party, to scheduling and planning site visits and tastings, to the carefully thoughout stationary, Georgia and the Matthew Oliver team took care of everything to insure that we had the best time with our guests. I attended a hand tied bouquet workshop run by Kate. The table was beautifully decorated and we received a gorgeous cocktail on arrival. Kate demonstrated and explained the process in a calm and relaxed manner which made it easy for us replicate ourselves and was on hand for questions. I went away with two beautiful bouquets and the flowers she chose were of very high quality. I throughly recommend her workshops and cocktails. She has a gorgeous energy; I’ll definitely attend another workshop. Thank you Kate.

Floral Shaker helped celebrate our 10 year anniversary with absolutely fantastic cocktails. Katy's artistic flair was just amazing; bringing her funky cocktail bar and beautiful flower display which we got to keep after! The cocktails made the party with everyone talking about them and excited to get the next ones. We had non-alcoholic mocktails too, so everyone was catered for. I attended one of the Floral Shaker flower arranging workshops in November. Booking was super easy and dates are published far in advance. Kate was amazing! She was very warm, funny and knowledgeable. When we arrived we were greeted with a range of delicious cocktails to choose from. They also looked amazing! Kate started giving us basic information on what we were going to do, and got into more details at each step of the making class. It was very relaxing and informative at the same time. The flowers we were provided with were just beautiful, and materials were also top quality. I ended up with a gorgeous creation and had such a fun time making it. I will definitely book more workshops with Kate and highly recommend Floral Shaker!

A wonderful team! Kirsty and the House of Styling decorated our venue in August. They were so helpful in the run up to our wedding, creating a moodboard for us so we could visualise how everything would look. We were blown away with how incredible everything looked on the day, they really brought our vision to life and all of our guest commented on how amazing everything looked. Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Communication was brilliant throughout with Kirsty, and no question or request was too much! The styling for our special day ticked every single box for us, and the venue staff and even the registrar kept saying they had never seen New Place Hotel styled so well. I highly recommend The House Of Styling. Kirsty and her team are absolutely fantastic. I got married back in August and I remember, myself and my husband took the time by ourselves to look at our barn and we were speechless. The amount of detail and effort was incredible. Truly magical is the only words I can use to describe our wedding decor. I had a vision in mind and put all my trust in "a touch of class". The decor was stunning. Everyone complimented the set up of the ceremony room and how lovely the reception tables were. The Photo Booth was a massive hit with everyone. The chocolate foundation was good and the children loved it, as well as the sweet cart. Communication was good and always available for any queries.

We worked with Melanie for our wedding at Came House last year, and can honestly say she is one fantastic woman and the best wedding planner we could have hoped for. From our introductory call until our wedding, Melanie went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly on the day. Melanie’s attention to detail is unmatched. To give one of many examples: without request from us, Melanie remembered my sensitivity to mosquito bites from an earlier conversation and arranged mosquito plugs to be placed in the bridal suite. This small but incredibly thoughtful touch meant so much. It’s this thoughtfulness and pre-empting of potential issues that really sets Melanie apart. Melanie always responded promptly to our questions/emails, often late at night or over weekends. She was incredibly patient and always put us at ease. I wish I could add more stars! We got married at Abbots Court in May 2023 and I can't recommend it enough as a wedding venue. The house and grounds are absolutely breath-taking in the middle of the countryside and are maintained to the highest standard. We loved that there were so many options from the Victorian Barn for the ceremony, to the gardens for reception drinks to the pavilion for dinner and party and then the house (and the glamping pods!) for the after party. Having our family and friends stay in the house the night before with its huge kitchen, dining room and hot tub and then also in the glamping style pods on the night was amazing and kept the party going in the house bar! Having so many options allowed several people to stay on site which allowed the wedding to go on all weekend. One of the highlights of our wedding was the organisation in the run up to and on the day. This is all down to Cat and her amazing team who expertly put up with all my queries and worries and made everything run smoothly. I cannot thank them enough for making our wedding dreams come true. A truly special venue and we couldn't ask for more. Thank you to everyone involved.

We got married at Abbots Court in September 2023 and want to do it all over again! Cat was so helpful both the day before and on the wedding day setting everything up. We wouldn't have known where to start but she coordinated us all very well. Cat also kept our stress and nerves as low as she could on Wednesday which definitely got us through the ceremony!! The venue was absolutely stunning and the gardens were beautiful. You made it possible for us to have the relaxed and fun day we wanted. It was noted by guests that the wedding was different to any wedding they had been to before, but one of the best! It means so much to us that our friends and family had such an amazing time. We booked Abbots Court after a chance viewing and what felt like fate with our dream date becoming free the coming year. We knew the venue suited our vision of the wedding day, but it was the way that the staff saw the whole wedding weekend that filled us with the confidence to book (even with a lot of the venue still CGI drawings!) We were not disappointed when it came to our last planning meeting and seeing everything in its full glory and on the day it was perfect. The ability to have friends stay the weekend with us, the informal but beautiful look and feel of Abbots Court and the amazing staff meant we truly had the best day of our lives. We were able to make a weekend of it by hosting a sports day at the venue the next day and everything was made so easy by Kat and the team. Set up was a breeze, we were given a whole day to prepare and that took the stress out of the big day, which isn’t always a luxury that venues give couples. We booked Abbots Court, Almer Manor and the Shepard’s huts on site - all provided incredible experiences for our guests and the feedback we have had from everyone that stayed has been amazing. The luxury and well thought out venues added to our wedding experience and guests were definitely keen to try and stay again in future! We want to say a massive thank you for everything you did to answer the questions (no matter how big or small) and for all the thought and advice that went into making our day truly about us, and not just a carbon copy or a template that couldn’t be veered from. A truly wonderful retreat, set in gorgeous countryside. The decor of the house is tasteful and calming. Lots of different spaces for people to enjoy - great kitchen, dinning room and lounge for larger groups & snug bar for hiding away in. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Christina and the team were very welcoming and helpful. I Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

I used coastline events for the hire of a marquee for my 50th birthday party. The guys came to put the marquee up on the Friday, collected it the following Monday. It was perfect for my party!! The marquee held 60+ guests, a 30 strong choir and lots of dancing with the disco in the evening. Such a great service from start to finish and would highly recommend 👌

We first found The Orangery Suite within the few days after we got engaged in Mauritius. We emailed Becky whilst we were still abroad and viewed the venue the week after we got back to the UK and the venue looked amazing, even in the British rain! We looked at one other venue, just to say we had compared it to another place, but we knew instantly that it was the perfect venue for us. We are active people and can get bored easily, so all of the games and activities really appealed to us, along with the beautiful grounds! Becky, Scott and Louise have done the best job since taking over the venue and have really refreshed the look, including refurbishing inside the orangery suite and the outside bathrooms. Everything looked great on the day and it ran so smoothly, thanks to all of their efforts! Nothing was too much trouble for them and they helped answer and resolve any questions I had. All of our guests have commented on how perfect the venue was and what a good find it was. They all enjoyed playing all of the games, especially the mini golf, badminton, table football and basketball net! They were also so welcoming of our 2 dogs, Ted and Alfie, who also really enjoyed the day being ring bearers. There were no restrictions on how long they could stay or where they could go and it was so nice to know they were just as welcome as all of the humans! It really was the best day ever and we are so grateful to The Orangery Suite!

We were planning an outdoors wedding and Georgi at Scarlett Rose Events was extremely accommodating when we only wanted to hire sashes for our chairs. Georgi was so friendly to talk to when we were organising it and I felt like that part of our wedding decor was in safe hands. When the British weather decided to give us rain on our wedding day, Georgi stepped in last minute and allowed us to move our wedding inside and provided the most beautiful wedding arch dressed for our ceremony. It looked amazing and can only thank Georgi for coming to our rescue and creating such a beautiful wedding space. I would 100% recommend Georgi if you are after decor and set up for your event. The only reason why we didn’t hire more items from Georgi is because we just didn’t need it but her stock looks beautiful.

From the first viewing we knew St Giles was the venue for us. Every time we returned we fell more in love with this stunning venue. There is something so magical about the house and grounds and our guests were blown away. The wedding team are all incredibly efficient, organized and friendly. They went above and beyond to give us the most magical Winter Wedding. The accommodation is worth mentioning too - the most beautiful interiors and finishes that our family and guests loved along with an incredible breakfast set-up in the riding house. There are so many beautiful spaces in the main house to use for each part of the day which provides great flow and guest experience and the ground are just as beautiful and provide endless options for beautiful portraits. Having exclusive hire of the entire estate for a whole weekend is such a luxury and its a weekend we will never ever forget. Thanks for all!

As a wedding photographer I get to visit some incredible venues, but St Giles House is easily one of my favourites. It’s the perfect mix of grand and relaxed, with stunning historic interiors and gorgeous outdoor spaces. It absolutely blew me away. The Great Dining Room is breathtaking for ceremonies, the gardens were perfect for an English Garden Party feel for reception drinks, and the impressive library is just gorgeous lit by candle light for the wedding breakfast. If you’re after a venue that feels both elegant and intimate, St Giles House is a fantastic choice. I really can’t wait to be back!

We just hosted our wedding at St Giles on 18/07/24. We cannot recommend this venue enough. We were blown away the minute we looked at this venue a year ago, and each visit since then only made us fall more in love with it. Our guests were mesmerised and there is not a single thing we can complain about or would want to change. The staff are incredible and we found them to be extremely accommodating and helpful - I asked a lot of questions throughout the wedding planning process and Lottie & Charlotte were absolute experts in this field and had answers/solutions for us every time. You can tell the staff there love St Giles and are really passionate about it, which isn’t surprising because everything about it is exquisite. Hands down the best decision we ever made to have our wedding there, we didn’t want to leave and neither did our guests!
