We live in the U.S. and were planning a wedding in the very beautiful but very distant Cotswolds. One of the first and best decisions we made after we chose our venue was hiring Rachel. Her knowledge of the absolute best of the best local vendors was invaluable in creating the most magical day of our lives. Rachel's taste level is exceptional but, having said that, what's even more impressive is she took a jumbled collection of ideas of what we like (color! fun! gold! rustic...but elevated!) and expertly focused our thoughts into an unbelievable and gorgeous backdrop for our big day. We couldn't have been happier and we got so many compliments from everyone on the signage, the flowers, the decor, the styling, the furniture and games, the general setting and ambience - and Rachel had a hand in creating it all. Working with her was really effortless, and that's saying something considering our 8-hour time difference. She always made herself available to meet if we needed to hash things out or answer lots and lots of emails. She has an incredibly calming and reassuring presence, is perfectly organized and across everything. I mean it when I say there was not a SINGLE hitch of any kind on the wedding day - everything looked incredible, was executed incredibly and what felt to me like effortlessly but surely there was a ton of effort to make it all feel so seamless. It was truly incredible having Rachel to help create and bring to life our big day. If you're considering hiring Rachel, take this as a sign to do it now!

Rachel is AMAZING – don’t hesitate to book her! She was our wedding coordinator , and I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her. My wedding took place at my parents’ house, which isn’t a conventional wedding venue, and as someone who isn’t great at accepting help, I was repeatedly told by others that I needed someone to manage the day. Thank goodness I listened, because Rachel was an absolute lifesaver. She came highly recommended by a friend who said she was brilliant, and they were absolutely right. From the very beginning, Rachel was engaging, supportive, and involved in every step of the process. On the day, she managed all the suppliers (and there were a lot of them, including a rather difficult chef) and ensured everything ran seamlessly. I’m pretty sure things must have gone wrong at some point, but I never noticed because Rachel had it all under control. Despite the challenges of working with a location that wasn’t set up for weddings – dealing with generators going down, glassware issues, tricky access points, and car parking in farmers’ fields – Rachel handled it all with ease. She truly became part of the day and was there from start to finish, even looking after one of my friends who had a bit too much to drink! Rachel, we couldn’t have done it without you. What can I say! Rachel took my vision and brought it to life...and then some. Her support, skill and organisation were second to none and because I was able to put my trust in her and her lovely team, I knew that everything would work out just perfectly - and it did! I can't thank Rachel enough for the hours of chatting on the phone to me, chasing down suppliers, and guiding my creativity to result in the most spectacular day, that many weeks on, people (including myself and my new hubby) are still raving about.

If you are looking for someone who will take the reigns as much as YOU need them to (in our case this was a lot), will genuinely listen to every single one of your requests and ideas and help you bring your dream wedding to life in an incredibly organised and calm manner, then this is your planner. She is very direct and to the point which is exactly what you need when you are wedding or party planning however, she has the patience of a saint and will work with you to ensure you are getting what you want and need in the most tasteful way and has some incredibly recommendations and relationships with some very talented suppliers. We really would not have had the wedding of our absolute dreams if it wasn’t for Rachel. She was with us throughout the whole of our Wedding (we had a 3 day event) and she made everything seamless and worked her absolute socks off, looking incredible whilst doing it. We had a few mishaps throughout the process, and we would never have known as she had sorted them out seamlessly before we even knew what had happened! Rachel is superb at keeping you on track and accountable for your required input and actions and will always communicate with you in the way that works best for you. Everyone who attended our wedding said it was the best wedding they had ever been to and highlighted how incredibly smooth everything went and how brilliantly organised the whole thing was. Rachel was also on hand to get me into my dress on the day (photo’s attached) whilst giving me a pep talk and carry my train too, she is just the nicest most genuine person. Lovely Nicky supplied our chair covers for our wedding day and they worked perfectly with our theme. Nicky was very accommodating and flexible to my ever-changing requests and I'm so pleased we found her. I'd highly recommend her for all your wedding hire needs.

Nicky was very accommodating with the items i required. She send me photo's of what i wanted, to give me an idea on what i was hiring along with making the whole process nice and straightforward. Once the items were collected (by my dad) and bought to the venue i could certainly see Nicky looks after her props as the quality of the items were really good. Where to begin?! We found Roger The Wedding Guy at a Wedding Fair back in early 2020. We were impressed by his friendly and fun personality and the range of services he had on offer. Initially we decided to book him as just our DJ for the evening but he offered the Toastmaster and iSmile photo services too at a reasonable price which we also decided to go for. On the day Roger turned up promptly and entertained some of our guests, so I have heard. He also played our ceremony music with only one very tiny hitch, which we all laughed about after and had no bearing on the joy of the day. He helped rally our guests for our confetti throw, garden games and photos and gathered everyone to come for the reception meal. He also provided background music while we had canapes and photos taken and very kindly played my favourite and unusual Kermit the Frog song, It's Not Easy Being Green! Roger was very amenable to all our unusual requests such as 3 first dance songs instead of just one! He was also incredibly professional throughout the day. When I was too warm, he magically produced a little white hand fan from his pocket to lend to me, which I thought was a nice touch! Everyone was impressed with his attention to detail. Perhaps not so much my husband though, who will now hilariously always been known as "Knobby" since Roger overheard my affectionate nickname for him and announced it several times throughout the day. :D Overall, I cannot recommend Roger The Wedding Guy enough! He was a fantastic addition to our wedding day and we can't thank him enough for all the help he provided. Cheers!!

Roger was just brilliant! From the moment we booked him for our wedding, the communication was excellent, receiving answers to our questions instantly. He's friendly, approachable and really just a constant professional from start to finish. Whoever was on the dance floor, the music he played worked perfectly in sync to ensure guests young and old stayed on the dance floor for as long as possible. The visual setup was perfect as well. We got married at Abbots Court in September 2023 and want to do it all over again! Cat was so helpful both the day before and on the wedding day setting everything up. We wouldn't have known where to start but she coordinated us all very well. Cat also kept our stress and nerves as low as she could on Wednesday which definitely got us through the ceremony!! The venue was absolutely stunning and the gardens were beautiful. You made it possible for us to have the relaxed and fun day we wanted. It was noted by guests that the wedding was different to any wedding they had been to before, but one of the best! It means so much to us that our friends and family had such an amazing time. A truly wonderful retreat, set in gorgeous countryside. The decor of the house is tasteful and calming. Lots of different spaces for people to enjoy - great kitchen, dinning room and lounge for larger groups & snug bar for hiding away in. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Christina and the team were very welcoming and helpful. I Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

I wish I could add more stars! We got married at Abbots Court in May 2023 and I can't recommend it enough as a wedding venue. The house and grounds are absolutely breath-taking in the middle of the countryside and are maintained to the highest standard. We loved that there were so many options from the Victorian Barn for the ceremony, to the gardens for reception drinks to the pavilion for dinner and party and then the house (and the glamping pods!) for the after party. Having our family and friends stay in the house the night before with its huge kitchen, dining room and hot tub and then also in the glamping style pods on the night was amazing and kept the party going in the house bar! Having so many options allowed several people to stay on site which allowed the wedding to go on all weekend. One of the highlights of our wedding was the organisation in the run up to and on the day. This is all down to Cat and her amazing team who expertly put up with all my queries and worries and made everything run smoothly. I cannot thank them enough for making our wedding dreams come true. A truly special venue and we couldn't ask for more. Thank you to everyone involved.

We booked Abbots Court after a chance viewing and what felt like fate with our dream date becoming free the coming year. We knew the venue suited our vision of the wedding day, but it was the way that the staff saw the whole wedding weekend that filled us with the confidence to book (even with a lot of the venue still CGI drawings!) We were not disappointed when it came to our last planning meeting and seeing everything in its full glory and on the day it was perfect. The ability to have friends stay the weekend with us, the informal but beautiful look and feel of Abbots Court and the amazing staff meant we truly had the best day of our lives. We were able to make a weekend of it by hosting a sports day at the venue the next day and everything was made so easy by Kat and the team. Set up was a breeze, we were given a whole day to prepare and that took the stress out of the big day, which isn’t always a luxury that venues give couples. We booked Abbots Court, Almer Manor and the Shepard’s huts on site - all provided incredible experiences for our guests and the feedback we have had from everyone that stayed has been amazing. The luxury and well thought out venues added to our wedding experience and guests were definitely keen to try and stay again in future! We want to say a massive thank you for everything you did to answer the questions (no matter how big or small) and for all the thought and advice that went into making our day truly about us, and not just a carbon copy or a template that couldn’t be veered from. We were planning an outdoors wedding and Georgi at Scarlett Rose Events was extremely accommodating when we only wanted to hire sashes for our chairs. Georgi was so friendly to talk to when we were organising it and I felt like that part of our wedding decor was in safe hands. When the British weather decided to give us rain on our wedding day, Georgi stepped in last minute and allowed us to move our wedding inside and provided the most beautiful wedding arch dressed for our ceremony. It looked amazing and can only thank Georgi for coming to our rescue and creating such a beautiful wedding space. I would 100% recommend Georgi if you are after decor and set up for your event. The only reason why we didn’t hire more items from Georgi is because we just didn’t need it but her stock looks beautiful.

Having Rosie as part of our wedding day (and the months leading up to it) was one of the best decisions we made. She was so calm, composed and “on it” throughout the whole process that we couldn’t help but feel that way too! She is incredibly knowledgeable and just bubbling with amazing ideas. Having a marquee wedding on our family farm, we really appreciated her expert eye but also her focus on the environment and sustainability. My only regret is that we discovered Rosie about halfway through our planning - I only wish we could have worked with her from the beginning.

My Husband and I had a bit of a chaotic start to wedding planning, starting without a wedding planner we booked a venue that fell through and were totally in over our heads. Then my TikTok algorithm presented me with Georgia, and I'm so glad it did. After Georgia scoured three different countries (for months), we then decided to have the wedding five minutes away from our home in Scotland- she didn't show one ounce of frustration. Admittedly, we were worried this was a bit less glamorous than the venues the MO team were used to but Georgia's priority is for her clients to have the wedding that is perfect for them. On the weekend of the wedding Georgia and her team (Bertie and Danny) were everywhere at once, they ensured the whole weekend ran exactly to plan. They worked tirelessly, but with smiling faces, they didn't show it. They are all brilliant and there wasn't a single guest who didn't mention how fantastic they were. The ability to plan an event down to such fine detail and yet maintain a sense of complete calm is a skill that should not be undervalued. When my husband and I initially met with Georgia at MatthewOliver Weddings, there was an instant connection. After a few weeks of initial planning, we had some unforseen circumstances arise and had to stop with proceeding on our planning. When we were ready to resume the wedding plans, Georgia was able to work us back into her schedule. We spent the next year and half planning our dream European adventure.
