Katie was absolutely fantastic from start to finish with helping us plan and pull off our wedding day. She was always there if we had any questions or needed any advice during the planning stages. The styling on the actual day itself was amazing. Flowers and decorations were stunning and Katie always found clever ways to move and re-use the flowers etc to enhance every stage of the day without being wasteful! Katie is and has been an absolute dream. She took our mad ramblings and vision and turned it into absolute perfection, our wedding day was exquisite. Her talent for venue styling and floristry is utterly incredible. Our flowers, not just our bouquets but also the general venue flowers, were simply stunning, she absolutely nailed the colour theme. It was better than we could have even imagined. There were so many comments on the day about how beautiful the venue looked. Not only this but Katie provided us with wedding planning services too. As we were so far away this was invaluable. We knew we were in safe hands. Nothing was too much trouble, and our late night/panicked emails and messages were met with nothing but love and enthusiasm. She provided a much needed sense of calm when the inevitable wedding stress and worry took over. The Guilty Pleasures were just BRILLIANT! They played at our wedding last month and exceeded all our expectations. Catering for everyone, the dance floor was full from start to finish with a range of songs creating an unforgettable atmosphere! The band Guilty Pleasures played at our wedding in July and absolutely smashed the night! From their very first number they had everyone up and dancing and as their name might suggest, they play an eclectic set that gets people dancing! When planning a wedding communication is key and Lee and the team were fantastic in terms of explaining how they work, what they need and how we could help. They really made our big day a party and we received so many comments from guests about how good the band were - Would highly recommend them to anyone!

On set-up day everyone went above and beyond to make everything look beautiful and better than what we even imagined. A big shout out to Koo, who designed all our stationary and put up with all of our demands even until the week before printing. We would also like to mention that everything we hired was in great condition and the furniture looked great when all set up. We decided to use Events Co for our wedding at Appuldurcombe House after meeting Khia at two Wedding fayre’s at Medina & IOW Pearl. From the very start Khia had the answers in terms of power, toilets, tables, food, decor, staff, a bar and so much more specifically at our venue and had several meetings and phone calls with us over a 22 month period building up to the big day. Consistent calls and emails with Khia and her colleague Kirsty ensured everything we had booked and wanted was ready to go and nothing was ever forced or unreasonable, if anything the opposite. As the wedding approached they really came in to their own, checking on finer details such as what flavour ice creams we preferred on the ice cream bike and the positioning of the burger van (out of a horse box) they had also provided. On the Thursday and Friday like clockwork Khia and the team were there, everything as ordered and being set up exactly how we wanted it, at one point extra staff were there to help set up the tables and decorate, something we didn’t even expect! Every member of the team worked so hard to get our wedding ready and on the day they were great with on the day coordination from Khia themself and the canapés, two course lunch (3 choices for each course) and then our burger and chips van exceeded expectation and got great feedback from our guests! Khia and the team remained on hand all day and eve to ensure rooms were switched round and pudding tables were topped up as well as keeping the guests watered at the bar! Full of good spirits, banter, accommodating our guests needs and having pics with my dad and refusing my mums supply of apple pies she had got reduced the day before! The wedding went perfectly and Events Co made it what it was without doubt! They were legends all of them and a massive part of our day being what it was. Thank you so much Adan & Harriet!

We used The Events Co for our wedding at New Barn Farm this summer and could not recommend them enough. Their furniture/crockery hire service was so seamless with delivery the day ahead of when we started set up which gave us plenty of time, the catering was exceptional - they worked with us to create a bespoke BBQ menu and all the guests commented afterwards how great the food was - and the team’s waiting and bar staff were so accommodating and friendly. But Kirsty’s on the day coordination was by far the star of the show and something I would recommend to any couple. Nothing phased her - specific guest requirements, room change overs, even last minute change of plans due to the weather - she made our day run so smoothly and we’ll be forever grateful!

Julie is the most incredibly talented lady, focusing on the finest details to make your dream day a reality- Julie made my vision come to life for our wedding on 20.06.14. Julie went above and beyond in so many way to bring the whole wedding theme together... even to the last minute spritz of Jo Malone so it smelt divine as our guests arrived. Having Rosie as part of our wedding day (and the months leading up to it) was one of the best decisions we made. Having a marquee wedding on our family farm, we really appreciated her expert eye but also her focus on the environment and sustainability. I wish I could add more stars! We got married at Abbots Court in May 2023 and I can't recommend it enough as a wedding venue. The house and grounds are absolutely breath-taking in the middle of the countryside and are maintained to the highest standard. We loved that there were so many options from the Victorian Barn for the ceremony, to the gardens for reception drinks to the pavilion for dinner and party and then the house (and the glamping pods!) for the after party. Having our family and friends stay in the house the night before with its huge kitchen, dining room and hot tub and then also in the glamping style pods on the night was amazing and kept the party going in the house bar! Having so many options allowed several people to stay on site which allowed the wedding to go on all weekend. One of the highlights of our wedding was the organisation in the run up to and on the day. This is all down to Cat and her amazing team who expertly put up with all my queries and worries and made everything run smoothly. I cannot thank them enough for making our wedding dreams come true. A truly special venue and we couldn't ask for more. Thank you to everyone involved.

We booked Abbots Court after a chance viewing and what felt like fate with our dream date becoming free the coming year. We knew the venue suited our vision of the wedding day, but it was the way that the staff saw the whole wedding weekend that filled us with the confidence to book (even with a lot of the venue still CGI drawings!) We were not disappointed when it came to our last planning meeting and seeing everything in its full glory and on the day it was perfect. The ability to have friends stay the weekend with us, the informal but beautiful look and feel of Abbots Court and the amazing staff meant we truly had the best day of our lives. We were able to make a weekend of it by hosting a sports day at the venue the next day and everything was made so easy by Kat and the team. Set up was a breeze, we were given a whole day to prepare and that took the stress out of the big day, which isn’t always a luxury that venues give couples. We booked Abbots Court, Almer Manor and the Shepard’s huts on site - all provided incredible experiences for our guests and the feedback we have had from everyone that stayed has been amazing. The luxury and well thought out venues added to our wedding experience and guests were definitely keen to try and stay again in future! We want to say a massive thank you for everything you did to answer the questions (no matter how big or small) and for all the thought and advice that went into making our day truly about us, and not just a carbon copy or a template that couldn’t be veered from. We hired Abbots Court for the weekend for an extended staff Xmas party. Incredible venue, that I’ve been to for several weddings. All the team loved it, beautiful house and location. The outside caterers were fantastic. Great cocktail barman provided. I would highly recommend it to anyone, whether a corporate weekend away, friends or a wedding.

A truly wonderful retreat, set in gorgeous countryside. The decor of the house is tasteful and calming. Lots of different spaces for people to enjoy - great kitchen, dinning room and lounge for larger groups & snug bar for hiding away in. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Christina and the team were very welcoming and helpful. I Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

The decor was stunning. Everyone complimented the set up of the ceremony room and how lovely the reception tables were. The Photo Booth was a massive hit with everyone. The chocolate foundation was good and the children loved it, as well as the sweet cart. Communication was good and always available for any queries.

I've come from a completely different background of Graphic Design, so Event Management is a new field for me. With this course, I've become confident in the field very quickly and it's on-going.
