Winterborne Hire and Styling were incredible at making our day extra special. I visited their lovely show room a few months prior to our wedding. After discussing what we needed, they produced some spectacular arrangements to suit the theme for our wedding and to match our fresh flowers. They delivered them on time and installed them ready for the big day, so we did not need to lift a finger. We are so glad we went with them as the arrangements really elevated our ceremony area. Winterborne were absolutely brilliant and so helpful throughout our wedding journey. They decorated our ladders with faux plants, and the results were stunning—the photos speak for themselves. We received so many compliments, and you honestly couldn’t tell the plants were artificial. In the lead-up, the team was incredibly supportive. They ensured everything was set up quickly, allowing us to move on with the rest of the decorations without feeling rushed. They even offered additional staff to help with other decorative elements, which was such a kind gesture. We just can’t recommend Winterborne enough!

We hired Winterborne Hire & Styling for our wedding in July and honestly it was the easiest, best decision we made for our big day! Dawn was so helpful and understood our vision the entire process. She really listened and ordered in pieces we needed to really bring our colour scheme and vision to light. I can’t recommend them enough!

From the first visit to the styling barn with Dawn right up until the wedding day itself and after the event, Dawn was on hand to help with any questions we had. We opted to set the venue decorations up ourselves the day prior to the wedding and this was made so easy as the beautiful arches were set up for us and the rest of the items we ordered came in extremely organised boxes which saved a lot of time. Gorwell Farm hosted our wedding (and accommodation) and was excellent from beginning to end. It’s. A beautiful, rustic venue but has been fully modernised and updated with all conveniences for a wedding whilst still retaining the rustic feel. All queries were addressed quickly and we couldn’t imagine it being any better.

We chose Gorwell for our wedding in July 2024, booking two years prior. Mary and the Team are fantastic, you can really tell that they want your big day to be a success. Mary was full of recommendations for vendors, which was amazing as it can definitely feel overwhelming. Throughout the communication was fantastic and there was no such thing as a silly question. Very interesting day out. The guides were so knowledgeable and helpful. So much to see that I will need to go back to spend more time in the fantastic gardens. Bit of a walk from the car park if your mobility is not great.

Just got back from 5 nights at Gorwell Farm and had a fabulous time. Great location for exploring, peaceful setting, well equipped and comfortable cottage (Granary). Would definitely recommend and want to go back! The children (aged 12, 10, 10, 10, 8, 6) particularly enjoyed spending time with the horses, tennis, table tennis and basketball. Thanks for a lovely stay.

I cannot recommend Rob and his team highly enough. He catered for our wedding and laid on a BBQ that was loved by everyone. The food was superb, plus the buffet later and canopies at the start of the day. Highly professional, relaxed and seemless. 10/10.

Rob and his team catered for my partner's 50th birthday at a house in the Silverlake Park/Resort near Weymouth. From initial contact 9 months ago to drying up the last plate this weekend, Rob and his team were superb. The menu was hugely impressive, with every dish looking like a winner. Whittling our choices down was the hardest thing we had to do. Rob's team turned up 90 minutes before kick off and proceeded to turn the ordinary dining room table into show-home feature, while Rob got to work in our very ordinary kitchen (four burners and one oven) to create some stunning food which everyone absolutely loved. He was also happy to share food tips and ingredient suggestions. We were all a bit sad when it was all over, but the kitchen and dining room were spotless, with only a solitary napkin left behind to show they'd even been there. I cannot recommend Brown Goose highly enough!!! You will not be disappointed.

Where to begin with the wonderful Rob?! We first contacted Rob in January 2023 when we booked our wedding at Deans Court in Wimborne. Rob was super responsive and was so helpful when we were chatting through our ideas for the food. We decided to go for canapés for the drinks reception and then sharing plates for the main courses. We asked Rob for roast potatoes, sliced roasted meats, macaroni cheese and a variety of salads. For dessert, we opted for the strawberry trifle and chocolate brownie and again these were on plates where our guests could mix and match. We got married on July 5th and our guests are still telling us how amazing the food was. There was so much of it too which was perfect to soak up all of the pimms and wine. I’m so glad we booked Rob to be our wedding caterer. He’s professional, friendly, organised and a brilliant chef. Just what you need! I would highly recommend him for any event and anyone getting married at Deans Court. Thank you so much Rob, you’ve been a star!

Mr Bradshaw and his team could not have been more helpful and efficient. Very flexible as to the style of catering required and on the day everything went exactly to plan. The food was delicious, service friendly and all my guests thoroughly enjoyed their meal.

Andy and his lovely team catered our Wedding in Symondsbury. He was absolutely amazing throughout. Andy was always really responsive to emails and nothing was too much trouble. On the day Andy, Anna and the whole team were amazing. They were so friendly and helpful, catered for everyone’s dietary requirements and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was and also on how lovely Andy and his staff were. The canapés were delicious, the main food was also amazing and there was plenty to go round. I forgot to take photos but here’s a photo of the delicious desserts we had, including gluten free brownies. Thank you so much Andy. I booked Andy to cook for nineteen people to celebrate my 70th birthday. It couldn't have gone better, Andy arrived right on time with his waitress and the food was excellent. Everyone commented on what a lovely meal it was. We had hired a house in Dorset for the occasion and don't live nearby as I would definitely use him again if I did! Highly recommended. The food and service from Louise and Sandie was second to none. We started with a selection of canapés before our 3 course meal. Each course and element was cooked perfectly and was so tasty! Thank you for making our social family weekend away just that extra bit amazing!

MJS Entertainment were absolutely brilliant from the planning of the wedding to the help on the day! They helped make the venue look stunning. The evening entertainment they provided was amazing and really made our wedding super special! Super friendly and always able to help make sure that we had everything we wanted for our wedding. Would definitely recommended using as many of their services as you can as everything they do is so perfect.

We used MJS for our wedding in November 2024 and they were absolutely amazing. From the get go Marcus was incredibly friendly and helpful, the website is easy to use and the whole team just brought such good vibes during the evening - we couldn’t be happier with our choice! We also used their audio guestbook which was such a fun little touch, all our guests loved it and we got the recordings back the very next day. Beautiful hall in the heart of Poundbury. I was lucky to be asked to hold a painting workshop here by the Casterbridge Art Group. A great venue for such an event.

Had a 5 year olds birthday party here. Not only was it a great price, but the hall came equipped with full audio, including Bluetooth and WiFi l capabilities, a fully equipped kitchen and dishwasher, and best of all the caretaker was the friendliest, most helpful person you could wish for.

We used Cartails to provide bar service at our wedding recently. After initial conversations with Harrison, Josh took over the planning of the event and both were brilliant to work with. They clearly had a wealth of experience planning the events, and were able to offer excellent advice and ideas without us ever feeling like we were being upsold. They provided everything we asked for, going to particularly effort to make sure we could have a slushy machine serving Froze. They went above and beyond in making sure the drinks offering was exactly what we were looking for. On the day, they constructed the circular bar quickly and efficiently, and this looked fantastic in the middle of the marquee. Drinks service throughout the whole day went perfectly, with Harrison and his team managing both the main circular bar and outside horsebox bar brilliantly. The Froze was a real hit and the after dinner cocktails went down very well too. The site was left spotless at the end of the night. We would happily recommend Cartails to anyone planning their own wedding, and would love to work with them again should we have any other large events.

Harrison was incredibly efficient in the lead up to agreeing arrangements for our daughter’s wedding and the team were equally professional on the day. The bar became the centre of the post-dinner party with excellent cocktails and magnificent service. Strongly recommend.

We recently had our wedding reception at Littlewood Lodge. The setting is absolutely idyllic. The attention to detail & craftsmanship of the lodge is stunning. The owner was approachable, helpful & accomodating from start to finish. We genuinely couldn’t have wished for a more perfect venue & all of our guests agreed.

Ultimate Party Nights were incredible for our wedding day. We enquired about the dancing on clouds package with added Sparklers and initially they weren't available on our date however Carl worked his magic and was able to find some additional staff to make it happen for us, which we are extremely grateful for! On the day, Max was incredible at the venue and helped to set up everything perfectly. He was so lovely and friendly and made sure everything was set off at the perfect time! The whole experience was amazing and made our first dance feel so special! Thank you so much Ultimate Party Nights, would 100% recommend!

The feedback from the room from the Quiz Show hosted by Ultimate Party Nights was fantastic, everybody thoroughly enjoyed the evening, the content was pitched at the right level. The interaction from Carl with the room was great, the quiz was topical, funny and the questions involved current themes and topics. We used this as part of our weekend fund raising and Carl helped us by raise money by auctioning points, particular stand out things were the team buzzers and the wheel of misfortune. Quite simply excellent value for money and I would definitely use Ultimate Party Nights again. A big fat 10 out of 10.

Our guests had a blast with the photobooth provided by UPN. They arrived promptly and didn't get in the way of our guests. They were fab from start to finish, they even offered to stay for an extra 30 mins for free! Lovely couple, I would definitely recommend and would use UPN again!

Lovely Nicky supplied our chair covers for our wedding day and they worked perfectly with our theme. Nicky was very accommodating and flexible to my ever-changing requests and I'm so pleased we found her. I'd highly recommend her for all your wedding hire needs.
