Penn is such a unique and incredibly beautiful place and location for a wedding or an event. A little bit like the Minack Theatre in Cornwall, it is set on a cliff top and has the most spectacular views. It provides a location for an event to remember. Having done location shots for the venue, styled shoots and weddings there, we know it well. Many of the rooms are brand new, set in to the cliff face and provide your own little peaceful sea view haven. The reception rooms and patio are just beautiful, light and fresh. And the team are wonderful too. We love it and are happy to shoot there anyway. Now we just need to get invited as guests at a wedding there so that we can enjoy it all!

I had the pleasure to film a wedding, the venue is so beautiful, so many great spots and so well mantained, staff was brilliant, very well organised, everything as planned. I'm really looking forward to filming here again.

Five because mum, Worked there as a waitress,weddings. In the seventies. Not the hotel. But the ramshackle disused church down a hidden away path.. Supposedly pirates. Are buried outside the sacred churchyard. Chesil being renowned for wrecking of ships. I know doubt there were pirates of some sort. If a barrel of rum turned up on your doorstep what would you do. Just recently a large container ship broke it's back. And brand new BMW motorbikes mysteriously disappeared in the thick of the night..? Free parking that's a novelty and worth taking up.

This was a business stay, and we had 5 nights here. I was in Half Moon and it was wonderful. Clean and immaculate, towels were fluffy, and toiletries were in full order. They even have bedroom slippers and bathrobe. We failed to use every single room in the property just because we had beautiful sunshine most of the days we're there. Everywhere is picturesque and not to mention the little walks to the beach below was great fun as well. Pool was amazing, warm and beautiful with marble pool floor. Kitchen had the best tools to whip up a good meal and the dining room is so instagramable.

Beautiful hall in the heart of Poundbury. I was lucky to be asked to hold a painting workshop here by the Casterbridge Art Group. A great venue for such an event.

A beautiful setting for any event, on this occasion it was my granddaughter's 4th birthday.

Brilliant local venue for music and community activities. Warm, well- maintained - altogether a good thing for Poundbury!

Warmwell House is a stunning and beautiful wedding / party venue. The house is iconic from the outside and inside, it's decorated beautifully inside the house with so many treasured items within it. I could spend forever looking at the paintings and antique furniture. Equally the grounds and gardens are lovely and made for some incredible wedding photos. There's plenty and a variety of accommodation on site for your guests. The rooms were clean and very well accommodated. Most importantly, Sam and Serena were the most incredible hosts. They really put us and our guests first and went above and beyond for us. Everything ran so smoothly because of them, they were always on hand to help us and give us advice and we honestly had the most magical day because of this. Our friends and family gave us so many compliments about the venue we had chosen.

We got married on 8th July 23 at Warmwell House and we had the most special weekend. From the moment we first looked around Warmwell House we were struck by the unique character of the house and beautiful vast gardens, which made the perfect setting for our wedding day. So much care and dedication has gone into Warmwell House, making it stand out from any other venue. Sam and Serena were the ideal hosts who made us, and our guests feel at home for the whole weekend. We genuinely felt they really care about our wedding day and were so attentive during the lead up and over the wedding weekend to ensure everything ran smoothly. We have received so many compliments from our guests on the unique and beautiful wedding venue. We feel so fortunate that we found Warmwell House for our wedding weekend. Warmwell House will always have a special place in our hearts, and we couldn’t recommend more as the perfect wedding venue.

Once we had driven down the long track , you are greeted with Warmwell House. Wow , what a house this is. Steeped in history , set in acres of Dorset countryside. Lovely gardens to go and explore, whether that be the herb garden , the maze or the outdoor pool area. Such a beautiful location to have a Wedding, which was the whole reason we had the pleasure of staying in the first place , as our best friend got married there. A short walk from the house down the track and you are at Warmwell Church. Perfect location for a Wedding, such a beautiful quaint church. For the main reception afternoon, we were in the Old Coach House, ideal for having a sit down meal and dancing the night away with the happy couple. Sam and Serena were fantastic hosts. Nothing was to much trouble for them. We only saw them very briefly on both days , whilst enjoying a very filling breakfast and then again when we all left to go back home. Absolutely loved this location, just perfect…….

Warmwell House is a hidden gem in the Dorset countryside. It was perfect for our small, intimate wedding. Sam & Serena were warm, welcoming and very accommodating in preparing for our special day. We felt comfortable and at home in the house & gardens, and had easy access to the church up the road, where we had our ceremony.
