We decided to use Events Co for our wedding at Appuldurcombe House after meeting Khia at two Wedding fayre’s at Medina & IOW Pearl. From the very start Khia had the answers in terms of power, toilets, tables, food, decor, staff, a bar and so much more specifically at our venue and had several meetings and phone calls with us over a 22 month period building up to the big day. Consistent calls and emails with Khia and her colleague Kirsty ensured everything we had booked and wanted was ready to go and nothing was ever forced or unreasonable, if anything the opposite. As the wedding approached they really came in to their own, checking on finer details such as what flavour ice creams we preferred on the ice cream bike and the positioning of the burger van (out of a horse box) they had also provided. On the Thursday and Friday like clockwork Khia and the team were there, everything as ordered and being set up exactly how we wanted it, at one point extra staff were there to help set up the tables and decorate, something we didn’t even expect! Every member of the team worked so hard to get our wedding ready and on the day they were great with on the day coordination from Khia themself and the canapés, two course lunch (3 choices for each course) and then our burger and chips van exceeded expectation and got great feedback from our guests! Khia and the team remained on hand all day and eve to ensure rooms were switched round and pudding tables were topped up as well as keeping the guests watered at the bar! Full of good spirits, banter, accommodating our guests needs and having pics with my dad and refusing my mums supply of apple pies she had got reduced the day before! The wedding went perfectly and Events Co made it what it was without doubt! They were legends all of them and a massive part of our day being what it was. Thank you so much Adan & Harriet!

Khia & Kirsty @ The Events Co were so helpful in making sure our wedding ran smoothly this Summer! They took care of furniture, catering, staffing, on the day co-ordination and moral support!! Right from the start Events and Co couldn’t have done more for us. From meeting with Khia when we just needed someone to make us feel calmer to the big details of organising everything. We loved how honest they were with everything about our wedding and bringing out ideas to life. The food on the day was also incredible, with pretty much everyone speaking to us after about how amazing our wedding food was!!! And then our coordinator Kirsty, she honestly made us feel like our wedding was the most important day she had ever been on. As I Arrived she was even carrying my nephew ,who had already taken to her, to pass her to my sister ready to goo down the aisle. She couldn’t have helped more to make sure everything went seamlessly and not just this but throughout the day she was so smooth that she just made everyone fall in love with her and even sent us some pictures and videos the next morning that she’d got for us ! She worked amazingly with all the suppliers and we honestly didn’t have a thing to worry about all day! I couldn’t recommend this company enough and will continue with everyone that I know getting married or married handing an event from health forward. We used The Events Co for our wedding at New Barn Farm this summer and could not recommend them enough. Their furniture/crockery hire service was so seamless with delivery the day ahead of when we started set up which gave us plenty of time, the catering was exceptional - they worked with us to create a bespoke BBQ menu and all the guests commented afterwards how great the food was - and the team’s waiting and bar staff were so accommodating and friendly. But Kirsty’s on the day coordination was by far the star of the show and something I would recommend to any couple. Nothing phased her - specific guest requirements, room change overs, even last minute change of plans due to the weather - she made our day run so smoothly and we’ll be forever grateful!

The feedback from the room from the Quiz Show hosted by Ultimate Party Nights was fantastic, everybody thoroughly enjoyed the evening, the content was pitched at the right level. The interaction from Carl with the room was great, the quiz was topical, funny and the questions involved current themes and topics. We used this as part of our weekend fund raising and Carl helped us by raise money by auctioning points, particular stand out things were the team buzzers and the wheel of misfortune. Quite simply excellent value for money and I would definitely use Ultimate Party Nights again. A big fat 10 out of 10.

Highly recommend Ultimate party nights! We hired them for the quiz show for our sons 13th birthday, all kids and adults had a brilliant evening.

Our guests had a blast with the photobooth provided by UPN. They arrived promptly and didn't get in the way of our guests. They were fab from start to finish, they even offered to stay for an extra 30 mins for free! Lovely couple, I would definitely recommend and would use UPN again!

Stunning venue! We cannot recommend this venue and Sue and her team enough for the amazing job they do. They couldn't do enough to make sure we had the most magical day. From the moment we saw the place, we fell in love and knew we had to get married here. Then we met Sue and she put us at ease straight away, so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much hassle. Our friends and family could not have been more complementary. We cannot thank Sue and her team enough for giving us the most incredible day.

Having had our wedding there last weekend (31st August) I can honestly say that this is BY FAR the best venue around. Sue, Nigel, Matt and Georgia worked tirelessly to ensure the day ran smoothly alongside our caterers. Nothing was too much of an ask. Wonderful venue, beautiful decor already in place and really not needing much additional decor to be provided by ourselves, it was the most perfect day.

We will never forget Hope Farm for making us feel so special, and for making our wedding celebration extra special too. When we first met Sue, we knew that Hope Farm was the venue we wanted to get married in. The animals, the landscape and the warm welcome we received told us that we simply had to get married here. We feel so lucky to have come across Hope Farm for our wedding, and to have been able to have our wedding here. We first visted the venue just under a year ago and were blown away by the gorgeous views, chilled atmosphere and the mix of contemporary/rustic charm. Luckily we were able to secure the last available date in 2023 and it certainly lived up to our expectations! We celebrated our wedding at Hope Farm last weekend and had the most fabulous day. Sue and the team were welcoming and attentive, whilst also giving you the space and freedom to decorate and enjoy the venue as you pleased throughout the weekend. The facilities are beautifully finished and we had countless compliments from guests who particularly enjoyed the different areas on the farm to explore in between the main events of the day and not just being stuck inside a stiff hotel/venue.The alpacas and baby goats were a massive hit with our guests - the perfect photobomb for our gorgeous pictures! A beautiful venue with treasured memories, we hope to one day come back as guests or maybe to celebrate an anniversary! Can't recommend it enough x

We first found The Orangery Suite within the few days after we got engaged in Mauritius. We emailed Becky whilst we were still abroad and viewed the venue the week after we got back to the UK and the venue looked amazing, even in the British rain! We looked at one other venue, just to say we had compared it to another place, but we knew instantly that it was the perfect venue for us. We are active people and can get bored easily, so all of the games and activities really appealed to us, along with the beautiful grounds! Becky, Scott and Louise have done the best job since taking over the venue and have really refreshed the look, including refurbishing inside the orangery suite and the outside bathrooms. Everything looked great on the day and it ran so smoothly, thanks to all of their efforts! Nothing was too much trouble for them and they helped answer and resolve any questions I had. All of our guests have commented on how perfect the venue was and what a good find it was. They all enjoyed playing all of the games, especially the mini golf, badminton, table football and basketball net! They were also so welcoming of our 2 dogs, Ted and Alfie, who also really enjoyed the day being ring bearers. There were no restrictions on how long they could stay or where they could go and it was so nice to know they were just as welcome as all of the humans! It really was the best day ever and we are so grateful to The Orangery Suite!

When my husband and I initially met with Georgia at MatthewOliver Weddings, there was an instant connection. After a few weeks of initial planning, we had some unforseen circumstances arise and had to stop with proceeding on our planning. My Husband and I had a bit of a chaotic start to wedding planning, starting without a wedding planner we booked a venue that fell through and were totally in over our heads. Then my TikTok algorithm presented me with Georgia, and I'm so glad it did. After Georgia scoured three different countries (for months), we then decided to have the wedding five minutes away from our home in Scotland- she didn't show one ounce of frustration. Admittedly, we were worried this was a bit less glamorous than the venues the MO team were used to but Georgia's priority is for her clients to have the wedding that is perfect for them. Georgia was professional, kind and patient through the many, many renditions of our wedding. Not only did she save the day, in the end she planned something that felt so intimate, personal and perfect for us. Georgia worked seamlessly with all of our vendors throughout the planning process, kept us on track with what we needed to be doing and was there to lend an ear if we ever felt overwhelmed. On the weekend of the wedding Georgia and her team (Bertie and Danny) were everywhere at once, they ensured the whole weekend ran exactly to plan. They worked tirelessly, but with smiling faces, they didn't show it. They are all brilliant and there wasn't a single guest who didn't mention how fantastic they were. The ability to plan an event down to such fine detail and yet maintain a sense of complete calm is a skill that should not be undervalued. When we first visited House of Styling's barn, we were blown away by the range or different items and themes available to rent for our special day. Kirsty took care to listen to what we wanted and came up with a quote for us that we were able to amend as time went on and we knew more about what we wanted for our wedding. Kirsty always responded to emails quickly and was willing to have phone calls too for me to run through questions before the big day. I worried about being "in the way" when we were putting out our own few bits and pieces or collecting them and she was very reassuring that it was our day and that they were there to support us. Kirsty and Laura make a great team and seem to really care about the detail of what they're doing, I was so pleased with the work that they had done and the care and effort they put into making sure our venue looked just like I imagined!

We were recommended Linen & Lace by our florist and I'm so glad she did! Sam has been a dream supplier from day one and completely understood the look & feel we were going for from the moment we spoke on the phone. When it was safe to do so, we were able to visit Sam at her studio, this gave us the chance to look at all the items available and discuss what would suit our day, Sam also organized our linen and napkins which was such a great help as was one less thing we had to worry about. As our wedding was in December we were only allowed 15 guests but that did not stop Sam creating the most beautiful tablescape, she is so talented and the end creation took our breath away. We have had so much feedback from our family & friends about how beautiful the table and room were, we couldn’t agree more! I can’t thank Sam at Linen and Lace enough. She worked tirelessly to make our vision come to life. I had all my own decor and a plan for our wedding that was very detailed and Sam executed it perfectly. I am sure that I nearly killed her but she did it with ease, professionalism and a smile on her face, it was like working with a good friend. I am so grateful as she created this bespoke for us and I could not have asked for more. She set up, packed down and out of hundreds of glass items and a van full, it all made it back. Sam decorated for our Wedding at Balmer Lawn last Saturday and she did an incredible job it was everything that I hoped for and more! We explained what we wanted and showed pictures and nothing was too much trouble and she got everything spot on. The candles, vases etc that she used were just so beautiful and exactly the style I wanted. She made use of the table decor on the window sills and registrar table during the ceremony so nowhere in the room looked empty. We had soo many compliments on the decor and how beautiful it was. Could not recommend Linen and Lace enough. Sam made our venue look even better than I imagined and her attention to detail was exquisite. We wanted a rustic feel with lots of pretty lights/candles and she made it work. She went above and beyond and even helped with the flowers! She also made it stress free for us.
