I can’t thank Sam at Linen and Lace enough. She worked tirelessly to make our vision come to life. I had all my own decor and a plan for our wedding that was very detailed and Sam executed it perfectly. I am sure that I nearly killed her but she did it with ease, professionalism and a smile on her face, it was like working with a good friend. I am so grateful as she created this bespoke for us and I could not have asked for more. She set up, packed down and out of hundreds of glass items and a van full, it all made it back. It was expertly done. Very highly recommended. I enjoyed every moment setting up with her. Her comms are fantastic and she has an excellent eye for detail. If you want your decor to be something people will talk about, Sam is your girl. She loves whats she does and puts her heart and soul into it. A day to remember thank you so much x

We were recommended Linen & Lace by our florist and I'm so glad she did! Sam has been a dream supplier from day one and completely understood the look & feel we were going for from the moment we spoke on the phone. When it was safe to do so, we were able to visit Sam at her studio, this gave us the chance to look at all the items available and discuss what would suit our day, Sam also organized our linen and napkins which was such a great help as was one less thing we had to worry about. As our wedding was in December we were only allowed 15 guests but that did not stop Sam creating the most beautiful tablescape, she is so talented and the end creation took our breath away. We have had so much feedback from our family & friends about how beautiful the table and room were, we couldn’t agree more! Sam decorated for our Wedding at Balmer Lawn last Saturday and she did an incredible job it was everything that I hoped for and more! We explained what we wanted and showed pictures and nothing was too much trouble and she got everything spot on. The candles, vases etc that she used were just so beautiful and exactly the style I wanted. She made use of the table decor on the window sills and registrar table during the ceremony so nowhere in the room looked empty. We had soo many compliments on the decor and how beautiful it was. Sam was an absolute delight from start to finish. I knew I wanted everything at our wedding to look pretty, but had no idea how to make it look nice, fortunately Sam did! I gave her some vague ideas, and she put together exactly what I wanted somehow. She was really easy to get hold of and talk to. We adjusted some things closer to the date, and everything came together beautifully. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone!

When we first visited House of Styling's barn, we were blown away by the range or different items and themes available to rent for our special day. Kirsty took care to listen to what we wanted and came up with a quote for us that we were able to amend as time went on and we knew more about what we wanted for our wedding. Kirsty always responded to emails quickly and was willing to have phone calls too for me to run through questions before the big day. I worried about being "in the way" when we were putting out our own few bits and pieces or collecting them and she was very reassuring that it was our day and that they were there to support us. Kirsty and Laura make a great team and seem to really care about the detail of what they're doing, I was so pleased with the work that they had done and the care and effort they put into making sure our venue looked just like I imagined!

A wonderful team! Kirsty and the House of Styling decorated our venue in August. They were so helpful in the run up to our wedding, creating a moodboard for us so we could visualise how everything would look. We were blown away with how incredible everything looked on the day, they really brought our vision to life and all of our guest commented on how amazing everything looked. Everything was stress free and we would highly recommend Kirsty and her team at the House of Styling!

Lovely Nicky supplied our chair covers for our wedding day and they worked perfectly with our theme. Nicky was very accommodating and flexible to my ever-changing requests and I'm so pleased we found her. I'd highly recommend her for all your wedding hire needs.

Nicky was so helpful! I had a vague idea about what I wanted, and she sent me a ton of ideas from her warehouse (even more than what's listed on the website). The prices are super affordable and her customer service is top notch! I'd highly recommend!

We had our PERFECT wedding at Moonacre in August 2024 and highly recommend!! The venue was beyond magical and suited us perfectly. The planning process was super smooth and we never had any issues at all with Moonacre. Great for: outdoor ceremony, beautiful trees and outdoor space, onsite accomodation, lots of space, flexible entertainment, choose your own catering (really rare in this area for wedding venues!!), relaxed vibe, child-friendly, lots of decoration included, straightforward pricing with no hidden extras, wedding coordinator included, fire pit, whimsical wedding photos surrounded by nature (credit to Tegan Maccann who we absolutely loved :D), bar and bar staff provided/included (drinks packages to choose from and create your own) Not for you if you want: Lots of space for a big bridal party to get ready onsite, winter wedding (it's closed!), bring your own bar Long version: Hayley and Dominic were helpful, friendly, professional and above all flexible. The marquee is really nice and very large, and has enough decor already that we actually didn't spend anything on additional decor for the marquee as we didn't have a formal table set-up. We had an outdoor ceremony with both live and recorded music (they had enough sound equipment to suit our needs!), a relaxed family-friendly BBQ with mixture of indoor and outdoor seating (no seating plan) and lots of garden games and ping pong (hired from Simply Flower - also recommend). We had loads of young kids there and they had a brilliant time running around and there was none of the stress for parents of a formal indoor venue or sit-down meal. After the meal we gathered everyone round the fire pit for our speeches which was magical and made for some lovely photos as everyone was standing grouped together! We had family and friends stay in the onsite glamping accommodation and loads of friend took up the camping option which was a nice surprise - eating bacon sandwiches from a friend's camper van sat round with all the campers the next morning was a lovely moment, as was sitting out by the fire-pit with the final guests at 1am and seeing a shooting star. It was amazing to have a free-flowing wedding day with multiple different spaces for people to mingle and relax or dance to the band, a lot of guests have said it's one of the best wedding venues they have been to :) We got a great discount on the venue hire for booking "short notice" (booking in January for August same year). The only downside for us was that live music has to end at 9pm (although the DJ can carry on beyond that) Photo credit to the highly recommended Tegan Mccann Photography!!

Such a beautiful place. Went camping and the field was secluded, surrounded by trees and pine forest. Great views all around. Very peaceful quiet and well maintained. Not too many camping pitches. There is a nice covered area with seats and also a fridge, plus place to burn open fires. Nice powerful shower and clean toilets. Owners are really friendly and helpful, will definitely go back.

Beautiful, unique venue, well signposted with fun and quirky accommodation. If you want a magical wedding, with beautiful misty mornings, peacocks and bunnies on dewdropped lawns, this is the venue for you. 10/10 Had a great stay
