Highly recommend Ultimate party nights! We hired them for the quiz show for our sons 13th birthday, all kids and adults had a brilliant evening.

Ultimate Party Nights were incredible for our wedding day. We enquired about the dancing on clouds package with added Sparklers and initially they weren't available on our date however Carl worked his magic and was able to find some additional staff to make it happen for us, which we are extremely grateful for! On the day, Max was incredible at the venue and helped to set up everything perfectly. He was so lovely and friendly and made sure everything was set off at the perfect time! The whole experience was amazing and made our first dance feel so special! Thank you so much Ultimate Party Nights, would 100% recommend!

Our guests had a blast with the photobooth provided by UPN. They arrived promptly and didn't get in the way of our guests. They were fab from start to finish, they even offered to stay for an extra 30 mins for free! Lovely couple, I would definitely recommend and would use UPN again!

The feedback from the room from the Quiz Show hosted by Ultimate Party Nights was fantastic, everybody thoroughly enjoyed the evening, the content was pitched at the right level. The interaction from Carl with the room was great, the quiz was topical, funny and the questions involved current themes and topics. We used this as part of our weekend fund raising and Carl helped us by raise money by auctioning points, particular stand out things were the team buzzers and the wheel of misfortune. Quite simply excellent value for money and I would definitely use Ultimate Party Nights again. A big fat 10 out of 10.

We couldn't recommend Came House more as a wedding venue. Tucked away in the beautiful Dorset countryside, the house itself is stunning and such an incredible place to get married. Melanie and the team were just so lovely from the very beginning - which was so important to us, a team that we wanted to work with to bring our wedding to life. And they really came through, from helping us plan all aspects, covering every detail, and doing it all with a great calmness and friendliness. In short, they were brilliant. Get the venue right and the rest will follow... with Came, it certainly did.

Came House is surrounded by beautiful Dorset countryside, and just by itself is an incredible venue to get married at. However the team that works there make it truly special - your wedding day and the weeks / months leading up to it can be stressful, but Melanie and the Came team helped make everything so easy and stress-free for us, which allowed us to just enjoy the day, safe in the knowledge that everything was taken care of. From planning the BBQ for our friends and family on the Friday night, recommending caterers, DJ’s and wine suppliers, to the day itself (with all of our requests and last minute curveballs!) they worked tirelessly to ensure that our wedding weekend ran smoothly and to give us the perfect day. We have had so many people say how beautiful the venue looked, and how well organised everything was… We got very lucky with the weather, and even luckier that we picked Came for our special day 😊 Thank you again so much for everything! My Husband & I recently held our Wedding at Came House and it was perfect! The house and grounds are just beautiful and the venue really is a hidden gem! Having use of the house from Friday- Sunday extended the celebrations for us and meant we could all get ready on site in the morning. The staff at Came were all extremely helpful and hardworking and there’s a lot of work done behind the scenes to make the Wedding day run smoothly. The marquee was beautifully set up for us and a good size for the Wedding Breakfast and Reception. The grounds are stunning and provide a number of different backdrops for your wedding photos. The orangery where we had our ceremony is also a wonderful setting for that part of the day and for photos. We couldn’t fault any part of our weekend at Came House and would highly recommend it! We feel very fortunate to have celebrated our wedding at Came House earlier this year. From the moment we arrived, Rags, George, and their family made us feel at home for the weekend. The wider Came House team — Melanie, Danielle, Ju, and Skinner — was an incredible support. They coordinated everything seamlessly so we could focus on enjoying time with family and friends. The venue itself is spectacular and has several areas you can use for each part of the weekend. We held our rehearsal dinner in the dining room. The next day, we used the light-filled orangery for our ceremony, held our drinks reception in the beautiful gardens and then moved to the marquee for our wedding reception. It was great that we were able to do everything in one location and avoided having to arrange transport between venues for guests. Having our closest family and friends stay on-site also allowed us to extend the celebrations across the entire weekend. We can’t recommend Came House highly enough. It’s the perfect combination of a stunning venue with a brilliant team that goes above and beyond to give you the best possible wedding experience. We had so much fun and feel very grateful to the entire team!

We chose Stockbridge farm barn for our wedding after viewing a number of options from the Dorchester museum to various hotels and beyond. We ended up selecting Stockbridge farm barn as from the moment we saw it we knew it was the one for us, the rustic setting, the quite surroundings and the floral colours matched our theme perfectly. Cherry was hugely accomodating throughout the process if we wanted to visit for planning no problem, had a question for recommending a supplier, she had a book of hem, need high chairs, just ask. Price wise Stockbridge isn't the cheapest, but there is flexibility as you can then select the suppliers you want and also there are some options for staying on site in the form of shepherd huts. If you are thinking of having your wedding here, we do highly recommend staying in the huts, the morning after our wedding when we woke up to have morning coffee, there was a single stag walking across the field and that moment was so tranquil it was perfect. If we were to do our wedding again, there is no doubt in our minds we would choose the barn, however our one section of frustration was there are no toilet facilities included in the price, you have the option of either hiring a shepherd hut style or porta cabin - however in the scheme of things this is minor for how perfect our day was..

Recently got married at Stockbridge (August 7th 23). The venue is absolutely stunning and exactly what we were looking for. We cannot thank Anouska from Raggy&Boo enough, every single element of our wedding was delivered to perfection in her capable hands. No job was too big or too small, she was ready and waiting for our entrance to the venue with a glass of champagne and a smile and was just the most wonderful, calm and competent energy. After two years of planning with Gail as our main contact at Hinton St Mary we got married in April 2024, we had a truly wonderful wedding. Gail was phenomenal and very good with her recommendations throughout our planning. All our recommended suppliers knew the venue well making our planning easier. The venue was dry hire , many of our guests travelled from near and far so we made use of the venue from Friday to Sunday. The blank canvas of the barn was turned into something of our own which we decorated with fairy lights , rustic tables and chairs and greenery. The band played from the stage allowing a large dance floor below , the kitchen and toilets were great and easy to access. Other bonuses of the venue is St Peter’s church is just a few 100 meters from the venue and easy access for all guests . Accommodation onsite is available to the bridal party and those who need to stay on site , we found the accommodation to be very comfortable and convenient all weekend. We couldn’t recommend Hinton St Mary highly enough as a wedding venue.

This was the venue of our dreams! Gail was fantastic, always happy to help with our many questions and walked us through everything we needed to know. The grounds are stunning and it was such a privilege to be able to wander around - locations for beautiful photos are endless! The barn is gorgeous, the lounge area upstairs was brilliant for our guests who wanted a rest and the toilets are beautifully decorated! As soon as we arrived, we knew Hinton was the one!

I cannot recommend this venue highly enough, our wedding here was absolutely perfect. The barn itself is lovely but the real gem is the outdoor space - it’s stunning and there is so much of it! We had a stunning ceremony in the middle garden, drinks reception in the sunken garden and then the walled garden just outside the barn made a beautiful extension for our reception. We were given the freedom to make our vision come true and it was just incredible. Gail was a saint throughout the entire booking and planning process, and was a godsend on the day! The cottages are wonderful too, they are well worth their money. The pub down the road was the perfect place for the evening before for a big family meet up as well as a more intimate wedding party breakfast the following morning. Having the venue for the whole 3 days was just amazing - we were never rushed and we had the time to do what we wanted and needed to do. The flexibility with everything was just fantastic, I am so so glad we chose this beautiful venue, it was perfect. Thank you so much :)

We cannot recommend this venue highly enough! We got married last month (March 2024) at the St Peter's Church (right there on the estate), followed by reception in the Tithe barn. It was stunning whatever the weather, and the perfect choice if you are going more winter/out of the summer season, because the barn was so cosy. Gail was incredible throughout and in all honesty, we really didn't have to do a lot - the venue has so much character of its own, it's all any of our guests could talk about! We will be thinking about the day and the estate for a long time! Couldn't have picked a better venue.

We used MJS for our wedding in November 2024 and they were absolutely amazing. From the get go Marcus was incredibly friendly and helpful, the website is easy to use and the whole team just brought such good vibes during the evening - we couldn’t be happier with our choice! We also used their audio guestbook which was such a fun little touch, all our guests loved it and we got the recordings back the very next day. I used coastline events for the hire of a marquee for my 50th birthday party. The guys came to put the marquee up on the Friday, collected it the following Monday. It was perfect for my party!! The marquee held 60+ guests, a 30 strong choir and lots of dancing with the disco in the evening. Such a great service from start to finish and would highly recommend 👌

Gorwell Farm hosted our wedding (and accommodation) and was excellent from beginning to end. It’s. A beautiful, rustic venue but has been fully modernised and updated with all conveniences for a wedding whilst still retaining the rustic feel. All queries were addressed quickly and we couldn’t imagine it being any better.

Very interesting day out. The guides were so knowledgeable and helpful. So much to see that I will need to go back to spend more time in the fantastic gardens. Bit of a walk from the car park if your mobility is not great.

Just got back from 5 nights at Gorwell Farm and had a fabulous time. Great location for exploring, peaceful setting, well equipped and comfortable cottage (Granary). Would definitely recommend and want to go back! The children (aged 12, 10, 10, 10, 8, 6) particularly enjoyed spending time with the horses, tennis, table tennis and basketball. Gorwell Farm was where we chose to have our wedding this summer, and we could not have chosen a more perfect location for our special day. The cottages are spacious and comfortable for the morning-of preparation, and the barn and surrounding grounds are just idyllic. It really was the perfect space for our wedding. Mary and the team were great in the run-up to the wedding and on the day. It meant we didn't have anything to worry about. Also a shout out to the bar staff who were absolutely fantastic!

After discussing what we needed, they produced some spectacular arrangements to suit the theme for our wedding and to match our fresh flowers. Winterborne were absolutely brilliant and so helpful throughout our wedding journey. They decorated our ladders with faux plants, and the results were stunning—the photos speak for themselves. We received so many compliments, and you honestly couldn’t tell the plants were artificial. In the lead-up, the team was incredibly supportive. They ensured everything was set up quickly, allowing us to move on with the rest of the decorations without feeling rushed. They even offered additional staff to help with other decorative elements, which was such a kind gesture. We just can’t recommend Winterborne enough!

Absolutely fantastic job from Winterborne Hire & Styling! We rented some beautiful table decorations and flower pillars that complimented our wedding venue perfectly.They have a great range of items in their showroom and Dawn was so helpful and patient in taking through what items to choose. They are very professional and coordinated directly with the venue and had a delivery option making it seamless and efficient (one less thing for me to worry about!). Highly recommend :)

We hired Winterborne Hire & Styling for our wedding in July and honestly it was the easiest, best decision we made for our big day! Dawn was so helpful and understood our vision the entire process. She really listened and ordered in pieces we needed to really bring our colour scheme and vision to light. I can’t recommend them enough!

Nicky was very accommodating with the items i required. She send me photo's of what i wanted, to give me an idea on what i was hiring along with making the whole process nice and straightforward. Once the items were collected (by my dad) and bought to the venue i could certainly see Nicky looks after her props as the quality of the items were really good. I would thoroughly recommend Nicky and her business to anyone conducting any number of events not just weddings.
