Visited the clubhouse restaurant for a Sunday roast. Lovely friendly atmosphere and excellent customer service. The food was really good and arrived quickly to our table. Generous portion sizes and waitress looked after us throughout our meal. I would recommend booking a table in advance as it gets quite busy as very popular!! I'm definitely visiting again as I heard their full English breakfast is amazing. Highly Recommend.

Well well what can I say about Ashley wood the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow its the first time I've played here and probably the best course in Dorset that doesn't require a handicap to attend. Had a quick bite before we started pleasantly surprised booked a buggy as I knew slope index would be high and man in pro shop matched the hot deal price as it's cheaper so value for money was great. Didn't get my best score but got a few pars thanks to the tattooed golf coach Harry shaws lessons at parley and the views here at blandford were picturesque and course is well looked after and we play quick with the buggy and slower group in front let us through pretty quick which was great only wished I lived closer to the course as I'd loved to be a member here but we'll worth the 45 minute drive so we'll be visiting again very soon.

Course is in great condition ,fairways are good and greens are well looked after. The clubhouse serves some great food and has good beers on tap. The pro shop has some good stock and plenty of items. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

We had originally planned to meet at a pub just down the Road, but it was closed . Another person in the car park recommended the golf club and we weren't disappointed. The menu was limited but sufficient. We were made very welcome by the person serving. The food was freshly prepared and jolly good, the others had a pudding which was also reported to be very good. We will be sure to visit again

Had a great winter round of golf at Folke Golf Course today. Even though its been raining a lot it was pretty good under foot. Course was in great condition, greens smooth, even and true. Fairways generous, course challenging enough to make for a good round. Staff are really nice and very welcoming.

Weird experience of playing same greens twice (but from different tees), but at least you know what to expect 2nd time around! Surprised to find the fairways and greens played well despite all the rain we've had, so kudos to ground staff. Clubhouse and staff are very welcoming and food is very good. Changing facilities are also good (much improved recently).

Lovely golf club. My father, brother and I used to play here a lot 15-20-odd years ago when we lived nearby. We played here again today for old-time-sake and the place still has that lovely local friendly atmosphere / owner. Great course for the money, greens were good for the time of year. Really well-priced clubhouse restaurant; good quality sandwiches at a great price! Was nice to play here again.

Specifically a review on the coaching and Pro Shop. Had lessons with Bailey Birch since the beginning of this year. Couldnāt have imagined such a big change in my swing and my enjoyment of the game since having lessons with him. Lessons in particular are very good. Lots of important information and always a positive outcome with a specific working point to work on inbetween lessons. This always led to a visible solid improvement without overloading me on too many issues with my swing at once. Couldnāt recommend him enough if considering lessons whether itās a playing lesson, range session or in the simulator.

Teriffic round at Crane Valley GC. Played like a donkey, but that wasn't down to the course, which wasn't long, but was technical in places. Hit some good shots, but also some shockers, think I should have left the putter in the car too ! Enjoyable course, even in the drizzle !

We have had our annual group members (for 80 members, though we could easily fill more places) afternoon cream tea at Crane Valley for the past 3 years. Every year they provide the same superb food and service. Nothing is to much trouble for the staff, the facilities are top notch with the 80 place function room with bar and lounge area with views over the scenic golf course down to the lake. Highly recommended.

Lovely course, well prices, friendly staff and members. When taking all into account I am giving this 5 stars. The course itself is good quality with a proper length to the par 4 and 5 holes. Greens are immaculate and quick. It's not quite a championship course but given it's Ā£13 for a twilight round if you prebook on the website it's great value. Even peak time rounds come in at under Ā£30. The clubhouse is nice. Good selection of drinks and a nice area to sit a chill after a round. There is an outside patio nearly completed right by the 18th green which will be superb on a warm day/evening. Staff and members are very friendly and helpful. I will play here time and time again.

First visit, very impressed with the facilities, loved the 6th hole and the course location on the coast. The stunning weather enhanced our experience. The only negative is the risk to the general public/walkers.

Our first ever round at BWDGC, and I have to say that the course was fantastic. Spectacular views, some outstanding holes, especially the 6th, and it was in great condition. A very warm welcome from the staff on arrival and everybody could not have been friendlier. Everyone we spoke to during the day, including other golfers, made our visit most memorable. I would definitely recommend a trip to all golfers, and I hope to visit again someday.

Played it in early Oct., course was brilliant, ocean view on several of the holes, rolling hills, sheep & livestock in the backdrop. Course didn't really look that hard, but with the wind it sure did play that way. Lots of deep rough to avoid, a few stone walls to avoid, greens were in good condition. Will definitely want to play again when back over next year. Worth the trip.

Warm welcome, fab breakfast and service (weāll forget the coffee spillage lol). Great course in excellent condition, tight fairways with some challenging par 3s, the signature 8th is great! Greens ran well and are all challenging in various degrees. And what about the views. A gem of a course, for Ā£30ā¦ bargain! Will return!

Tricky little golf course, plays 18, designed around a 9 hole. No par 5's but lots of par 4's (and long ones). T Boxes were difficult to get T pegs into the ground. Lovely and flat course. Such a pretty course to play. Very enjoyable. This was the first time in 20 years of my golfing experiences (and I have played many courses)...that I have ever seen steps into a bunker !! Luckily I didn't have to use them š

Mike Dodd and all the junior coaches are fantastic. So welcoming and friendly. My son really enjoys going. They have a workbook with targets to aim for. It helps with focus and strives them to always move forward. It's a beautiful 9-hole course tucked away in Sturminster Marshall. It's definitely worth a visit for a coffee in the club house and chat with Mike.

What a little gem of a golf course! We visited on a lovely day and I had a lesson with Charlie, who was an excellent teacher, and made me feel at ease. The course has a family atmosphere to it, not intimidating like other places. The little cafe has a beautiful setting and a nice selection of dishes. Shame you're an hour away from is, hopefully we can visit soon!

Lovely 9 holes of golf. Easy to book via website we were advised pro shop would be shut that day and to check in at clubhouse. Warm welcome on arrival and purchased range tokens and rental trollies. Other players/members chatty and welcoming, and nice round. Uncle hadnāt played for about 10 years so nice course for him to get his swing back. Wasnāt rushed about on the course. nice course and very welcoming. Highly recommended for a peaceful round of golf at a fair price.

Played Stroller & Needles. Both incredible views and challenging holes. Stroller better of the two and harder. Lots of bunkers and some difficult hole layouts on both. Greens were a1. Clubhouse really cool. Just a fun place to play and challenging. Lots of par 5s and long challenging ones. The bunkers need the sand loosening though because they were almost all playing really shallow and hard and it was hard to take sand. Most of the sand underneath top thin layer was compacted, not loose. Apart from that it was awesome. This place is amazing and such a cool quirky club. Will definetly be returning at some point with other family/friends. Thanks a lot

Brilliant course brilliant staff , Absolutely great experience the course is immaculate full credit to green staff and management for what is truly a tip top course , there are normally one or two holes on a course that you think to yourself are a little weak or donāt quite fit right , but not here everyone of the holes are beautyās get there for a game if you can , played on Monday the 25th of July .
