Duncan is a first class coach. I had a series of lessons over the last year because I had lost confidence in my game. Duncan was brilliant, he corrected the bad habits I had developed, at my speed so I had time to consolidate what I was learning. I really enjoy playing golf again thanks to Duncan’s patience, expertise and encouragement.

I have always found Duncan incredibly helpful. During lessons he doesn’t over complicate things, working from what I am. He is pleasant and also encourages the enjoyment, keeping lessons simple and straightforward and is very good at tweaking little imperfections, for me to improve both a basic skill and fun.

Duncan provided me with a Golfing lesson after many years non-playing. This was very professional and I knew I was in very capable hands. It helped me enormously. Duncan also provided a Fitting for a new set of Golf Clubs. He had all the latest equipment and provided great advice on what clubs to have. I am delighted with the clubs. Highly recommended.

If you need to truly understand how to play better golf then the best investment you can make is to work with Duncan. Incredible patience, excellent communication and impactful learning. It is not easy for some of us "non-scratch" golfers at times to take the plunge and take lessons. I certainly worry about looking like a muppet when having lessons (as well as in life in general mind you!) but Duncan is able to set my mind at ease and work at a pace that is both easy to align to and allows me to take in what I am trying to do. On top of this, he and his team at Lyme Regis GC are simply incredibly humble and genuinely nice people, always welcoming, always smiling, it is a great club to be part of.

I received sound advice from Duncan Driver when I decided to Purchase new Ladies Ping golf clubs from his Pro Shop at Lyme Regis Golf Club. I then had some lessons from Duncan, who noticed within seconds that I just needed to slightly move my left hand grip over to the right and immediately I was hitting perfect shots at the Driving Range. This improved my confidence immensely when playing on the Course. I shall continue receiving lessons with Duncan Driver for using all of my new Ping Golf Clubs. I have also purchased a new Motocaddy Trolley to assist my game.

Decent course. Not worth the price for Non-members. Brand new TopTracer range is very good. Winter golf can be quite boggy. Good enough course to have fun and play well, wish they were on GolfNow so I could get a more appropriate course price.

Enjoyed it, nice varied course and lovely clubhouse. Will update this soon - playing here again next Friday 🏌️‍♂️⛳ - today wasn't a particularly good at to visit, soggy and breezy, when the weather improves it'll be great again. Unfortunately today, to paraphrase Lemony Snickett, 'just a series of random golf holes' not the courses fault. Wonderfully friendly staff and great food.

A lovely golf course, well worth the visit. This course is not the longest if courses, but is nonetheless quite challenging. Researching the layout before attending will help you. Really nice clubhouse and friendly staff. Also a well stocked little shop. A couple of driving nets to warm up, or if you want, a driving range to practice at. If the weather has been very wet, there will be standing water, although the drainage is very good, it can be overwhelmed. I will 100% play here again.

We try to play a different course each week. This was delightful to play !! Beautiful tree-lined fairways...very narrow in places...lots of par 4's and 5 in the 1st 9. Many undulations, sloping fairways, hills, and doglegs left and right gets you golf fit pushing your cart. Tricky approaches coming in to some "fast & foxy" greens. This 18 hole course has a great layout. Extremely friendly members and staff. The facilities are modern and inviting. We will definitely be back as it was only 20 min from home. What a find. ⛳😁🏌️‍♀️

We played a Dorset past captains match versus Hampshire past captains ⛳️ The course was in excellent condition very well manicured, the greens were very fast and true. The catering was also good and all the staff were very friendly. The club captain was in our first group out and he set a high standard with his course knowledge, well played Rob ⛳️ if you are in the area I would recommend a visit for a good challenging game and the bar is just the job on a hot day sitting on the patio 🏖️ or just pop in for a bit to eat and a drink🍹

Had a great day out at Bulbury today. The course is tight in places and very unforgiving if you stray off the fairway. It was in excellent condition. The staff made you feel very welcome and were very friendly.

What a little gem of a golf course! We visited on a lovely day and I had a lesson with Charlie, who was an excellent teacher, and made me feel at ease. The course has a family atmosphere to it, not intimidating like other places. The little cafe has a beautiful setting and a nice selection of dishes. Shame you're an hour away from is, hopefully we can visit soon!

Lovely 9 holes of golf. Easy to book via website we were advised pro shop would be shut that day and to check in at clubhouse. Warm welcome on arrival and purchased range tokens and rental trollies. Other players/members chatty and welcoming, and nice round. Uncle hadn’t played for about 10 years so nice course for him to get his swing back. Wasn’t rushed about on the course. nice course and very welcoming. Highly recommended for a peaceful round of golf at a fair price.

Tricky little golf course, plays 18, designed around a 9 hole. No par 5's but lots of par 4's (and long ones). T Boxes were difficult to get T pegs into the ground. Lovely and flat course. Such a pretty course to play. Very enjoyable. This was the first time in 20 years of my golfing experiences (and I have played many courses)...that I have ever seen steps into a bunker !! Luckily I didn't have to use them 🙃

Mike Dodd and all the junior coaches are fantastic. So welcoming and friendly. My son really enjoys going. They have a workbook with targets to aim for. It helps with focus and strives them to always move forward. It's a beautiful 9-hole course tucked away in Sturminster Marshall. It's definitely worth a visit for a coffee in the club house and chat with Mike.

We played this course on 26/08/23. The course is in very good condition and greens are excellent. It's Not very long but because of the trees it's extremely challenging. Will definitely be playing the course again. Probably would have considered joining if it was closer as it's that good. Highly recommend

Wow what a beautiful golf course! I emailed the staff several times before going and they were incredibly accommodating and very patient as I am a beginner golfer. Clubhouse had a lovely breakfast menu and cakes were particularly delicious. Course itself was in excellent condition and the rolling hills, dotted with sheep was really special. Thanks to Honiton Golf Club for making our day!

Lovely golf club. My father, brother and I used to play here a lot 15-20-odd years ago when we lived nearby. We played here again today for old-time-sake and the place still has that lovely local friendly atmosphere / owner. Great course for the money, greens were good for the time of year. Really well-priced clubhouse restaurant; good quality sandwiches at a great price! Was nice to play here again.

Weird experience of playing same greens twice (but from different tees), but at least you know what to expect 2nd time around! Surprised to find the fairways and greens played well despite all the rain we've had, so kudos to ground staff. Clubhouse and staff are very welcoming and food is very good. Changing facilities are also good (much improved recently).

Had a great winter round of golf at Folke Golf Course today. Even though its been raining a lot it was pretty good under foot. Course was in great condition, greens smooth, even and true. Fairways generous, course challenging enough to make for a good round. Staff are really nice and very welcoming.

Teriffic round at Crane Valley GC. Played like a donkey, but that wasn't down to the course, which wasn't long, but was technical in places. Hit some good shots, but also some shockers, think I should have left the putter in the car too ! Enjoyable course, even in the drizzle !

Lovely course, well prices, friendly staff and members. When taking all into account I am giving this 5 stars. The course itself is good quality with a proper length to the par 4 and 5 holes. Greens are immaculate and quick. It's not quite a championship course but given it's £13 for a twilight round if you prebook on the website it's great value. Even peak time rounds come in at under £30. The clubhouse is nice. Good selection of drinks and a nice area to sit a chill after a round. There is an outside patio nearly completed right by the 18th green which will be superb on a warm day/evening. Staff and members are very friendly and helpful. I will play here time and time again.

We have had our annual group members (for 80 members, though we could easily fill more places) afternoon cream tea at Crane Valley for the past 3 years. Every year they provide the same superb food and service. Nothing is to much trouble for the staff, the facilities are top notch with the 80 place function room with bar and lounge area with views over the scenic golf course down to the lake. Highly recommended.

The service was equally impressive, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring that every need was met promptly. A special mention goes to Jon, whose professionalism and dedication significantly enhanced our visit. Highly recommended for both golf enthusiasts and those seeking a memorable meal in a beautiful setting.

Even though the weather was against us , the wind was howling helping soak us we had a great day ! The course was in excellent condition. Some very difficult holes especially with the conditions I would definitely recommend having a round of golf here. The staff and members were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Definitely will be back for another round soon, hopefully without the sad weather.

A long but relatively gentle course. It has some curious bumps, hollows and short narrow gorges running through the middle holes of the course, which can present a few challenges to a visiting golfer. The greens also can be a tough read. In essence though a fair test for all. Our welcome from the Pro shop, other members and staff in the club house was very friendly. Expect we might try again next time we are holidaying in the area.

Lovely golf club, super clubhouse. Great views from the clubhouse terrace and the course was in excellent condition, some of the fairways are fiendishly difficult, lots of little lumps and bumps to throw the ball off course. Even with a good shot straight down the middle you can end up with a very demanding lie, it certainly gets your attention.

Our first ever round at BWDGC, and I have to say that the course was fantastic. Spectacular views, some outstanding holes, especially the 6th, and it was in great condition. A very warm welcome from the staff on arrival and everybody could not have been friendlier. Everyone we spoke to during the day, including other golfers, made our visit most memorable. I would definitely recommend a trip to all golfers, and I hope to visit again someday.

Played it in early Oct., course was brilliant, ocean view on several of the holes, rolling hills, sheep & livestock in the backdrop. Course didn't really look that hard, but with the wind it sure did play that way. Lots of deep rough to avoid, a few stone walls to avoid, greens were in good condition. Will definitely want to play again when back over next year. Worth the trip.
