We bonded with Claire instantly as she could see our vision and brought it to life! In the lead up to the wedding there was no issue with making small changes here and there. The level of communication was fantastic. On the day, we hired Own Your Throne to style and I don’t know what we would have done without the styling option. We thought we were just looking for wicker thrones, but instead found Claire, who transformed our visions into a more beautiful reality than we could have ever expected. Claire went above and beyond to help us curate our day and we cannot thank her enough. The props are beautiful and Claire styled them perfectly, she even went out of her way to help us set up the venue and add the final perfect touches. Absolutely fantastic job from Winterborne Hire & Styling! We rented some beautiful table decorations and flower pillars that complimented our wedding venue perfectly.They have a great range of items in their showroom and Dawn was so helpful and patient in taking through what items to choose. They are very professional and coordinated directly with the venue and had a delivery option making it seamless and efficient (one less thing for me to worry about!). Highly recommend :)

We hired Winterborne Hire & Styling for our wedding in July and honestly it was the easiest, best decision we made for our big day! Dawn was so helpful and understood our vision the entire process. She really listened and ordered in pieces we needed to really bring our colour scheme and vision to light. I can’t recommend them enough!

We used Winterborne Hire & Styling for our wedding at Abbots Court and couldn’t have been happier with the service provided! From the first visit to the styling barn with Dawn right up until the wedding day itself and after the event, Dawn was on hand to help with any questions we had. We opted to set the venue decorations up ourselves the day prior to the wedding and this was made so easy as the beautiful arches were set up for us and the rest of the items we ordered came in extremely organised boxes which saved a lot of time. Winterborne were absolutely brilliant and so helpful throughout our wedding journey. They decorated our ladders with faux plants, and the results were stunning—the photos speak for themselves. We received so many compliments, and you honestly couldn’t tell the plants were artificial. In the lead-up, the team was incredibly supportive. They ensured everything was set up quickly, allowing us to move on with the rest of the decorations without feeling rushed. They even offered additional staff to help with other decorative elements, which was such a kind gesture. We just can’t recommend Winterborne enough!

Roger, the wedding guy truly went above and beyond to make my special day exceptional. With his expert skills in creating a seamless flow and fun atmosphere, he brought a unique energy to my wedding that was unforgettable. His incredible DJ skills kept the party going all night long, and his charming humor and stylish outfits added an extra touch of magic to the event. I couldn't have asked for a better person to help bring my wedding to life.

Where to begin?! We found Roger The Wedding Guy at a Wedding Fair back in early 2020. We were impressed by his friendly and fun personality and the range of services he had on offer. Initially we decided to book him as just our DJ for the evening but he offered the Toastmaster and iSmile photo services too at a reasonable price which we also decided to go for. On the day Roger turned up promptly and entertained some of our guests, so I have heard. He also played our ceremony music with only one very tiny hitch, which we all laughed about after and had no bearing on the joy of the day. He helped rally our guests for our confetti throw, garden games and photos and gathered everyone to come for the reception meal. He also provided background music while we had canapes and photos taken and very kindly played my favourite and unusual Kermit the Frog song, It's Not Easy Being Green! Roger was very amenable to all our unusual requests such as 3 first dance songs instead of just one! He was also incredibly professional throughout the day. When I was too warm, he magically produced a little white hand fan from his pocket to lend to me, which I thought was a nice touch! Everyone was impressed with his attention to detail. Perhaps not so much my husband though, who will now hilariously always been known as "Knobby" since Roger overheard my affectionate nickname for him and announced it several times throughout the day. :D Overall, I cannot recommend Roger The Wedding Guy enough! He was a fantastic addition to our wedding day and we can't thank him enough for all the help he provided. Cheers!!

Roger was just brilliant! From the moment we booked him for our wedding, the communication was excellent, receiving answers to our questions instantly. He's friendly, approachable and really just a constant professional from start to finish. Whoever was on the dance floor, the music he played worked perfectly in sync to ensure guests young and old stayed on the dance floor for as long as possible. The visual setup was perfect as well. I would recommend Roger to anyone!

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding - hiring Roger! His communication prior to the big day was excellent, great value and was personal on the day. Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Communication was brilliant throughout with Kirsty, and no question or request was too much! The styling for our special day ticked every single box for us, and the venue staff and even the registrar kept saying they had never seen New Place Hotel styled so well. The colour scheme and style we had imagined in our heads - Kirsty and the team made it happen! From start to finish a 5 star service and I would highly recommend!

I got married back in August and I remember, myself and my husband took the time by ourselves to look at our barn and we were speechless. The amount of detail and effort was incredible. When we first visited House of Styling's barn, we were blown away by the range or different items and themes available to rent for our special day. Kirsty took care to listen to what we wanted and came up with a quote for us that we were able to amend as time went on and we knew more about what we wanted for our wedding. Kirsty always responded to emails quickly and was willing to have phone calls too for me to run through questions before the big day. I worried about being "in the way" when we were putting out our own few bits and pieces or collecting them and she was very reassuring that it was our day and that they were there to support us. Kirsty and Laura make a great team and seem to really care about the detail of what they're doing, I was so pleased with the work that they had done and the care and effort they put into making sure our venue looked just like I imagined!

A wonderful team! Kirsty and the House of Styling decorated our venue in August. They were so helpful in the run up to our wedding, creating a moodboard for us so we could visualise how everything would look. We were blown away with how incredible everything looked on the day, they really brought our vision to life and all of our guest commented on how amazing everything looked. Everything was stress free and we would highly recommend Kirsty and her team at the House of Styling!

We booked our wedding plans well in advance of the current pandemic for 2021 and found Sweet Forrest to provide us with decoration for the venue. Unfortunately, due the pandemic we had to rethink our big day and Sarah at Sweet Forrest was absolutely marvellous to us. She made the whole process very easy, has been very supportive to us and completely professional. When cancelling our plans, Sarah offered us a refund without any hesitation and processed this instantly. We are so appreciative of this at such a difficult time and would highly recommend Sweet Forrest to anyone looking for wedding decor hire. Thank you Sarah!

The most perfect day at a dream venue Patrick and I had the most incredible experience getting married at Mapperton. From the moment we first visited we knew it was the perfect venue for us due to how flexible, versatile and stunning it is. Holly our amazing wedding coordinator was one of the reasons we chose the venue and is a true asset to Mapperton. She was there to take us through the whole process, being a fountain of knowledge for amazing suppliers in the South West and nothing was too big an ask. Most importantly she made sure our day ran like clockwork and we couldn't have asked for a better day. Our guests have given us so many compliments saying it is the favourite wedding they have ever been to and this is all thanks to the hard work put in by the team at Mapperton. We can't wait to pop in, take a walk around the stunning Italian gardens and visit the Mapperton family to remember our special day.

I've had the pleasure of providing bespoke wedding flowers for couples at this venue for a few years now and it's one of the most stunning venue's in the south west. The absolute most perfect wedding venue ever! Mapperton had everything that we wanted and we absolutely fell in love with it, no venue in the area compared!! It was a complete blank canvas in the coach house which we really liked and there were many ceremony options (inside and outside) but we opted with the croquet lawn which was simply stunning. The gardens are sensational and many of our guests have said it’s the most beautiful wedding venue they have ever been to. There’s two cottages on site too so we used one for the bridal party and then one for the grooms, this was such an amazing option to have and really added to the whole weekend experience! Holly our wedding co-ordinator was incredible, so kind and understanding. No question was too big and she helped us quickly on any wedding advice / help that we needed. We really appreciated her being there through anything that we needed, she was amazing on the day and it all ran smoothly which was completely all her hard work but also leading up to the wedding too. She helped so much & we truly appreciate her! She really understood our vision. If you are thinking of booking Mapperton for your wedding then DO IT, it was simply a dream come true that we will remember for the rest of our lives!! :)

WHAT A VENUE! Having shot at venues all over Mapperton is just incredible. It has everything, and I mean everything. Multiple choices for the ceremony, STUNNING grounds, gorgeous barn. It honestly has it all. The staff are wonderful, so welcoming and really take care of their suppliers - which means they take care of their couples. It's a dream venue!

Such a beautiful place. Went camping and the field was secluded, surrounded by trees and pine forest. Great views all around. Very peaceful quiet and well maintained. Not too many camping pitches. There is a nice covered area with seats and also a fridge, plus place to burn open fires. Nice powerful shower and clean toilets. Owners are really friendly and helpful, will definitely go back.

This is our 3rd time staying, we love this place! We've attended an amazing wedding here, stayed in Monty the motorhome, Bertie the Bus and Dan the van. Each has had everything we need for a short break away. Showers are hot, accommodation and toilets are clean. It's so peaceful and perfect for the kids to safely explore and see wildlife. Also a good base to explore local attractions like monkey world, the tank museum and Beaulieu museum. Dominic and Rachel are very welcoming and friendly, will definitely be returning again

Beautiful, unique venue, well signposted with fun and quirky accommodation. If you want a magical wedding, with beautiful misty mornings, peacocks and bunnies on dewdropped lawns, this is the venue for you. 10/10 Had a great stay
