We bonded with Claire instantly as she could see our vision and brought it to life! In the lead up to the wedding there was no issue with making small changes here and there. The level of communication was fantastic. On the day, we hired Own Your Throne to style and I don’t know what we would have done without the styling option. I had complete confidence in Claire and the decor surpassed my expectations. Absolutely stunning. 10/10 would recommend

We were super lucky to have won a competition on Instagram to use the 'Lush Botanical Backdrop' at our wedding. It was really beautiful and worked perfectly as the focal point in our ceremony and then later as a photobooth backdrop. Claire was brilliant with communication and the delivery/set up was all really smooth. I highly recommend using this company for any wedding decor needs! Thank you so much :)

We thought we were just looking for wicker thrones, but instead found Claire, who transformed our visions into a more beautiful reality than we could have ever expected. Claire went above and beyond to help us curate our day and we cannot thank her enough. The props are beautiful and Claire styled them perfectly, she even went out of her way to help us set up the venue and add the final perfect touches. We are so pleased to have found Own your Throne, we cannot recommend the company and Claire enough.

We used Winterborne Hire & Styling for our wedding at Abbots Court and couldn’t have been happier with the service provided! From the first visit to the styling barn with Dawn right up until the wedding day itself and after the event, Dawn was on hand to help with any questions we had. We opted to set the venue decorations up ourselves the day prior to the wedding and this was made so easy as the beautiful arches were set up for us and the rest of the items we ordered came in extremely organised boxes which saved a lot of time. We were so pleased with how Dawn helped our vision come to life and thoroughly recommend Winterborne to anybody looking for a styling service. Thank you so much for making our wedding so beautiful! Winterborne Hire and Styling were incredible at making our day extra special. I visited their lovely show room a few months prior to our wedding. After discussing what we needed, they produced some spectacular arrangements to suit the theme for our wedding and to match our fresh flowers. They delivered them on time and installed them ready for the big day, so we did not need to lift a finger. We are so glad we went with them as the arrangements really elevated our ceremony area. Winterborne were absolutely brilliant and so helpful throughout our wedding journey. They decorated our ladders with faux plants, and the results were stunning—the photos speak for themselves. We received so many compliments, and you honestly couldn’t tell the plants were artificial. In the lead-up, the team was incredibly supportive. They ensured everything was set up quickly, allowing us to move on with the rest of the decorations without feeling rushed. They even offered additional staff to help with other decorative elements, which was such a kind gesture. We just can’t recommend Winterborne enough!

Nicky was very accommodating with the items i required. She send me photo's of what i wanted, to give me an idea on what i was hiring along with making the whole process nice and straightforward. Once the items were collected (by my dad) and bought to the venue i could certainly see Nicky looks after her props as the quality of the items were really good. I would thoroughly recommend Nicky and her business to anyone conducting any number of events not just weddings. Roger was just brilliant! From the moment we booked him for our wedding, the communication was excellent, receiving answers to our questions instantly. He's friendly, approachable and really just a constant professional from start to finish. Whoever was on the dance floor, the music he played worked perfectly in sync to ensure guests young and old stayed on the dance floor for as long as possible. The visual setup was perfect as well. I would recommend Roger to anyone!

Where to begin?! We found Roger The Wedding Guy at a Wedding Fair back in early 2020. We were impressed by his friendly and fun personality and the range of services he had on offer. Initially we decided to book him as just our DJ for the evening but he offered the Toastmaster and iSmile photo services too at a reasonable price which we also decided to go for. On the day Roger turned up promptly and entertained some of our guests, so I have heard. He also played our ceremony music with only one very tiny hitch, which we all laughed about after and had no bearing on the joy of the day. He helped rally our guests for our confetti throw, garden games and photos and gathered everyone to come for the reception meal. He also provided background music while we had canapes and photos taken and very kindly played my favourite and unusual Kermit the Frog song, It's Not Easy Being Green! Roger was very amenable to all our unusual requests such as 3 first dance songs instead of just one! He was also incredibly professional throughout the day. When I was too warm, he magically produced a little white hand fan from his pocket to lend to me, which I thought was a nice touch! Everyone was impressed with his attention to detail. Perhaps not so much my husband though, who will now hilariously always been known as "Knobby" since Roger overheard my affectionate nickname for him and announced it several times throughout the day. :D Overall, I cannot recommend Roger The Wedding Guy enough! He was a fantastic addition to our wedding day and we can't thank him enough for all the help he provided. Cheers!!

When we first visited House of Styling's barn, we were blown away by the range or different items and themes available to rent for our special day. Kirsty took care to listen to what we wanted and came up with a quote for us that we were able to amend as time went on and we knew more about what we wanted for our wedding. Kirsty always responded to emails quickly and was willing to have phone calls too for me to run through questions before the big day. I worried about being "in the way" when we were putting out our own few bits and pieces or collecting them and she was very reassuring that it was our day and that they were there to support us. Kirsty and Laura make a great team and seem to really care about the detail of what they're doing, I was so pleased with the work that they had done and the care and effort they put into making sure our venue looked just like I imagined!

I highly recommend The House Of Styling. Kirsty and her team are absolutely fantastic. I got married back in August and I remember, myself and my husband took the time by ourselves to look at our barn and we were speechless. The amount of detail and effort was incredible. They made my vision come true and actually, made it 100 times better! Our venue looked stunning and magical. To add to this, the whole process was so simple and easy, the team really took pressure of my shoulders, which is exactly what you need when planning a wedding. A wonderful team! Kirsty and the House of Styling decorated our venue in August. They were so helpful in the run up to our wedding, creating a moodboard for us so we could visualise how everything would look. We booked our wedding plans well in advance of the current pandemic for 2021 and found Sweet Forrest to provide us with decoration for the venue. Unfortunately, due the pandemic we had to rethink our big day and Sarah at Sweet Forrest was absolutely marvellous to us. She made the whole process very easy, has been very supportive to us and completely professional. When cancelling our plans, Sarah offered us a refund without any hesitation and processed this instantly. The absolute most perfect wedding venue ever! Mapperton had everything that we wanted and we absolutely fell in love with it, no venue in the area compared!! It was a complete blank canvas in the coach house which we really liked and there were many ceremony options (inside and outside) but we opted with the croquet lawn which was simply stunning. The gardens are sensational and many of our guests have said it’s the most beautiful wedding venue they have ever been to. There’s two cottages on site too so we used one for the bridal party and then one for the grooms, this was such an amazing option to have and really added to the whole weekend experience! Holly our wedding co-ordinator was incredible, so kind and understanding. No question was too big and she helped us quickly on any wedding advice / help that we needed. We really appreciated her being there through anything that we needed, she was amazing on the day and it all ran smoothly which was completely all her hard work but also leading up to the wedding too. She helped so much & we truly appreciate her! She really understood our vision. If you are thinking of booking Mapperton for your wedding then DO IT, it was simply a dream come true that we will remember for the rest of our lives!! :)

Well what can I say?! Our wedding day was an absolute dream from start to finish. The team is absolutely incredible, with special shout outs to Emma for her impeccable organisation and to Andrew for his flawless service. We had several mobility challenged members of our party and they left this event feeling like they’d been treated like absolute queens! Nothing was too much trouble, they were always checking everyone was happy and often anticipated what we wanted before we had even realised! We were in super safe hands and could fully relax into the day and just enjoy it. We will forever treasure these special memories that were made possible by this incredible team of people.

WHAT A VENUE! Having shot at venues all over Mapperton is just incredible. It has everything, and I mean everything. Multiple choices for the ceremony, STUNNING grounds, gorgeous barn. It honestly has it all. The staff are wonderful, so welcoming and really take care of their suppliers - which means they take care of their couples. It's a dream venue!

This is our 3rd time staying, we love this place! We've attended an amazing wedding here, stayed in Monty the motorhome, Bertie the Bus and Dan the van. Each has had everything we need for a short break away. Showers are hot, accommodation and toilets are clean. It's so peaceful and perfect for the kids to safely explore and see wildlife. Also a good base to explore local attractions like monkey world, the tank museum and Beaulieu museum. Dominic and Rachel are very welcoming and friendly, will definitely be returning again

We had our PERFECT wedding at Moonacre in August 2024 and highly recommend!! The venue was beyond magical and suited us perfectly. The planning process was super smooth and we never had any issues at all with Moonacre. Great for: outdoor ceremony, beautiful trees and outdoor space, onsite accomodation, lots of space, flexible entertainment, choose your own catering (really rare in this area for wedding venues!!), relaxed vibe, child-friendly, lots of decoration included, straightforward pricing with no hidden extras, wedding coordinator included, fire pit, whimsical wedding photos surrounded by nature (credit to Tegan Maccann who we absolutely loved :D), bar and bar staff provided/included (drinks packages to choose from and create your own) Not for you if you want: Lots of space for a big bridal party to get ready onsite, winter wedding (it's closed!), bring your own bar Long version: Hayley and Dominic were helpful, friendly, professional and above all flexible. The marquee is really nice and very large, and has enough decor already that we actually didn't spend anything on additional decor for the marquee as we didn't have a formal table set-up. We had an outdoor ceremony with both live and recorded music (they had enough sound equipment to suit our needs!), a relaxed family-friendly BBQ with mixture of indoor and outdoor seating (no seating plan) and lots of garden games and ping pong (hired from Simply Flower - also recommend). We had loads of young kids there and they had a brilliant time running around and there was none of the stress for parents of a formal indoor venue or sit-down meal. After the meal we gathered everyone round the fire pit for our speeches which was magical and made for some lovely photos as everyone was standing grouped together! We had family and friends stay in the onsite glamping accommodation and loads of friend took up the camping option which was a nice surprise - eating bacon sandwiches from a friend's camper van sat round with all the campers the next morning was a lovely moment, as was sitting out by the fire-pit with the final guests at 1am and seeing a shooting star. It was amazing to have a free-flowing wedding day with multiple different spaces for people to mingle and relax or dance to the band, a lot of guests have said it's one of the best wedding venues they have been to :) We got a great discount on the venue hire for booking "short notice" (booking in January for August same year). The only downside for us was that live music has to end at 9pm (although the DJ can carry on beyond that) Photo credit to the highly recommended Tegan Mccann Photography!!
