We used NCC for a week for a family holiday, Sangeet and Fusion Wedding, and it was an absolute dream! We looked at many venues before landing on NCC as we both have big families and we wanted everyone to be able to stay on location. NCC's main house rooms and the coach houses meant we could get everyone over and spend time together for a bit longer than the usual weekend. During the week i think we actually used all of the many many activites that NCC has to offer. Everything from tennis, swimming, the snooker, golf, croquet, casino, pedaloes, cycling, etc. everyone had something they could enjoy, on their own or in small groups. but we could come together for meals and talk about our day. The size of the venue itself was just right for us. The ballroom was big enough for the sangeet and ceremony and party, while the north hall served as perfect welcome, canapes and drinks area. NCC's partners like Hot Air baloon, Shooting experience, and the Croupiers were an delight to work with too. All of the NCC staff were brilliant, always someone around if we had any queries, including at 7am when people wanted an early morning swim post events! NCC staff ran our open bar for two nights and we very impressed with their professionalism and how well everything ran! Suzanne was our event manager and she was deligent and kept us focused on organising everything we needed to get organised to make sure things ran smoothly. We had a couple of Electric cars and NCC just had new chargers installed. While i was trying to figure out how to use them, Wendy, the techie, was on hand to show us how it worked. All our family kept saying what a memorable week they had, and I am sure we will be talking about our week at NCC for a very long time! Amazing memories created. Thanks NCC!

Wow! What an incredible venue. Our wedding party used every single facility over the extended celebration weekend: the pool, the lake, the church, the casino, the disco, the morning room, the billiard room, the ballroom and all the beautiful en suite bedrooms. On the morning of the wedding we went on a 5k run around the grounds. Absolutely fabulous!

We had our wedding over a weekend - we could not have asked for a better wedding! The staff were so nice, professional and helpful. Georgia is a fantastic events manager and made the weekend run with such ease. Being able to have your friends and family stay onsite made it all that more special, it really felt like a home. We also made good use of all the amenities throughout the weekend. I could not recommend North Cadbury enough

North Cadbury Court was the perfect setting for our December winter wedding last year. The house was so well equipped, the poker room was popular for our younger guests, and the basement club kept the adults partying into the early hours! A big thank you to Georgia and team for making it such a special occasion!!

Harrison was incredibly efficient in the lead up to agreeing arrangements for our daughter’s wedding and the team were equally professional on the day. The bar became the centre of the post-dinner party with excellent cocktails and magnificent service. Strongly recommend.

A really useful addition to a special occasion. The cocktails were delicious, only problem was they had to end. Really seamless bar staff - was very sad to see them leave. I would recommend the whole kit and caboodle to anyone who asked. Thanks to all at Cartails x

We had a wonderful experience with Harrison and the whole Cartails team over our two day wedding celebration. Harrison was extremely professional and helpful throughout the planning process and across the weekend. The service throughout our wedding was so slick and we were so pleased with the cocktails! We’d highly recommend the team if you’re planning an event - big or small.

We used Cartails to provide bar service at our wedding recently. After initial conversations with Harrison, Josh took over the planning of the event and both were brilliant to work with. They clearly had a wealth of experience planning the events, and were able to offer excellent advice and ideas without us ever feeling like we were being upsold. They provided everything we asked for, going to particularly effort to make sure we could have a slushy machine serving Froze. They went above and beyond in making sure the drinks offering was exactly what we were looking for. On the day, they constructed the circular bar quickly and efficiently, and this looked fantastic in the middle of the marquee. Drinks service throughout the whole day went perfectly, with Harrison and his team managing both the main circular bar and outside horsebox bar brilliantly. The Froze was a real hit and the after dinner cocktails went down very well too. The site was left spotless at the end of the night. We would happily recommend Cartails to anyone planning their own wedding, and would love to work with them again should we have any other large events.

We got married at Cott Farm in May this year and it was the perfect venue! The first time we went to Cott Farm we knew it was the place for us - the countryside surrounding it is beautiful, and the barn itself has all the facilities we were looking for, as well as the ability to personalise which nowadays with wedding venues are hard to come by! We had the venue for the whole wedding weekend which made everything feel so relaxed as we weren't rushed to set up or clean up. And then Becca & Ollie - it's difficult to sum up how helpful and friendly they are and I really don't think anything I can write will do them justice. From the day we met them, all the way up to the day after the wedding, they were on hand to help with everything - before the wedding: answering random questions via email, recommending vendors and order of the day; day of the wedding: being on hand with Pimm's for us when we arrived at the venue, fluffing up my dress for photos.... honestly I could go on, but all I can say is that the day was less stressful knowing that we were in their hands. If you're looking for somewhere in the countryside where you can create the wedding of your dreams with excellent owners and a relaxed feel - Cott Farm is the one.

We enjoyed exceptional hospitality in beautiful surroundings at this wonderful wedding venue. We were guests, yet the owners and staff made extra effort to ensure we had a very pleasant experience. Of course the bride and groom, their families and support crew, created a memorable 2 days. We also camped overnight and were provided with a hearty breakfast the morning after...much needed. Attention to detail was outstanding (e.g. the ladies WC had a basket of essentials) the grounds were impeccable and decor was stunning (in a rustic, unpretentious way). We just cannot fault them, thank you.

A beaming bride reviewing..... I cannot begin to thank Caroline and Michael enough for letting myself and Rufus have our wedding day at Shillingstone House, not only was the day itself so magical and joyous in their beautiful grounds, but the lead up to the day was fantastic. Caroline was extremely helpful and really took the time to understand what we wanted for the day and liaised with suppliers beforehand to help the day run smoothly. It's amazing that you can hire the grounds Friday -Sunday, it made decorating a really relaxing and enjoyable task as we had the whole day Friday to set up the site. I really loved Caroline's blog on her website as it was a great way to draw inspiration and again, I could see all the love and care she put into people's weddings days. Shillingstone House definitely doesn't feel like a wedding venue where you are on a conveyor belt and just a number- the whole day felt so personal. We are so so grateful that we got to have our wedding at Shillingstone House, our guests loved the beautiful fields and sensational flowers, there really was beauty everywhere you turned! Shillingstone House is a charming old country manor house with a lovely setting ideal for weddings. We went with an art group to paint "Plein Air". The gardens were full of colour with interesting plants for botanical studies. The kitchen garden was delightful in its assortment of plants and blooms. The house itself is full of charming architectural angles and loads of character and makes for a great artistic opportunity to capture its charm. There are beautiful old trees and lovely wide lawns, the host and hostess were very friendly and accommodating.

What a pleasure it was to perform a Handfasting at the weekend in the utterly stunning setting of the grounds of Shillingstone House... one of the most beautiful venues I've seen yet - flawlessly styled and spotlessly clean, with breath taking countryside views and wonderful hosts. Can't recommend highly enough xx

The place is super cozy, with stunning, picturesque views. I went there with my art group for a plein air painting session and absolutely loved it. The serene surroundings and well-kept beautiful garden make it a perfect spot for relaxing and getting inspired. Highly recommended!

We recently booked the orangery suite for our daughters first birthday and it was a beautiful day in a stunning venue! Accommodated a large number of people as well as ticking all the boxes for amenities. A very big thank you to Louise, Becky and Scott who went above and beyond for us and our guests and really made the day one of a kind, special and memorable! Highly recommended!

We first found The Orangery Suite within the few days after we got engaged in Mauritius. We emailed Becky whilst we were still abroad and viewed the venue the week after we got back to the UK and the venue looked amazing, even in the British rain! We looked at one other venue, just to say we had compared it to another place, but we knew instantly that it was the perfect venue for us. We are active people and can get bored easily, so all of the games and activities really appealed to us, along with the beautiful grounds! Becky, Scott and Louise have done the best job since taking over the venue and have really refreshed the look, including refurbishing inside the orangery suite and the outside bathrooms. Everything looked great on the day and it ran so smoothly, thanks to all of their efforts! Nothing was too much trouble for them and they helped answer and resolve any questions I had. All of our guests have commented on how perfect the venue was and what a good find it was. They all enjoyed playing all of the games, especially the mini golf, badminton, table football and basketball net! They were also so welcoming of our 2 dogs, Ted and Alfie, who also really enjoyed the day being ring bearers. There were no restrictions on how long they could stay or where they could go and it was so nice to know they were just as welcome as all of the humans! It really was the best day ever and we are so grateful to The Orangery Suite!

Its one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Somerset and run by a great team of people that we have got to know and can call our friends. We cannot rate this venue highly enough! We have had the pleasure of photographing at this breathtaking wedding venue, Brympton House is simply stunning, from the Manor House to the picturesque gardens, you are spoilt for choice for photo opportunities. We have worked with the coordinator Jenni, she was so helpful & friendly, as were all the other staff. We love the fact there is a whole room dedicated to the wedding cake!!
