We bonded with Claire instantly as she could see our vision and brought it to life! In the lead up to the wedding there was no issue with making small changes here and there. The level of communication was fantastic. On the day, we hired Own Your Throne to style and I don’t know what we would have done without the styling option. A wonderful team! Kirsty and the House of Styling decorated our venue in August. They were so helpful in the run up to our wedding, creating a moodboard for us so we could visualise how everything would look. We were blown away with how incredible everything looked on the day, they really brought our vision to life and all of our guest commented on how amazing everything looked. Everything was stress free and we would highly recommend Kirsty and her team at the House of Styling!

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Communication was brilliant throughout with Kirsty, and no question or request was too much! The styling for our special day ticked every single box for us, and the venue staff and even the registrar kept saying they had never seen New Place Hotel styled so well. The colour scheme and style we had imagined in our heads - Kirsty and the team made it happen! From start to finish a 5 star service and I would highly recommend!

A beaming bride reviewing..... I cannot begin to thank Caroline and Michael enough for letting myself and Rufus have our wedding day at Shillingstone House, not only was the day itself so magical and joyous in their beautiful grounds, but the lead up to the day was fantastic. Caroline was extremely helpful and really took the time to understand what we wanted for the day and liaised with suppliers beforehand to help the day run smoothly. It's amazing that you can hire the grounds Friday -Sunday, it made decorating a really relaxing and enjoyable task as we had the whole day Friday to set up the site. I really loved Caroline's blog on her website as it was a great way to draw inspiration and again, I could see all the love and care she put into people's weddings days. Shillingstone House definitely doesn't feel like a wedding venue where you are on a conveyor belt and just a number- the whole day felt so personal. We are so so grateful that we got to have our wedding at Shillingstone House, our guests loved the beautiful fields and sensational flowers, there really was beauty everywhere you turned! We had my nieces tipi wedding at this stunning setting. Lord and lady Caroline made us feel so welcome. They seamlessly helped with the little bits behind the scenes to make a very perfect wedding weekend. Having already done a tipi wedding five years previously. I can only support and endorse what a great place for a wedding with such super hosts Lord and Lady Michael and Caroline Salt.

Shillingstone House is a charming old country manor house with a lovely setting ideal for weddings. We went with an art group to paint "Plein Air". The gardens were full of colour with interesting plants for botanical studies. The kitchen garden was delightful in its assortment of plants and blooms. The house itself is full of charming architectural angles and loads of character and makes for a great artistic opportunity to capture its charm. There are beautiful old trees and lovely wide lawns, the host and hostess were very friendly and accommodating.

What a pleasure it was to perform a Handfasting at the weekend in the utterly stunning setting of the grounds of Shillingstone House... one of the most beautiful venues I've seen yet - flawlessly styled and spotlessly clean, with breath taking countryside views and wonderful hosts. Can't recommend highly enough xx

We got married at HSM Estate in September and it was a truly wonderful day, it is difficult to adequately describe what a perfect venue it is - photos truly don't do it justice. Our wedding ceremony was held on the grounds behind the Tithe Barn and we had our meal and reception inside the barn, but there is so much else here to see - the grounds are large and full of character, and different areas for guests to explore and enjoy. We were lucky to have perfect weather, however this venue would be magical in any conditions. We were looking for a dry hire venue which we could really make our own, and HSM was exactly what we wanted. The building is beautiful, and has practical elements such as a stage (with curtain), a mezzanine with sofas, a small kitchen and large side area where caterers can set up - and REALLY nice toilets (recently refurbished) - the management at this venue are great at listening to and acting on feedback, and are always adding details and changing elements where they can, to keep the venue at the highest possible standard and with ease of functionality. Our point of contact for viewing the venue, Gail, was also hired as our wedding coordinator. She really went above and beyond for us, from the initial viewing of the venue, to the additional visits afterward, right through to the final planning stages and of course the day itself. She has amazing knowledge of the venue and the history, which really added so much to the experience and made it so much more than just a venue. In addition to the venue itself, there is some accommodation on-site which is brilliant for bridal party / groomsmen or whoever you need to be close by. It was great to be able to get ready and walk out to the ceremony, no transport required. The cottages are also gorgeous and well supplied. We couldn't recommend this place enough as a wedding venue, it was everything we wanted and so much more, and our guests all had a wonderful day. 5 stars is not enough!

We cannot recommend this venue highly enough! We got married last month (March 2024) at the St Peter's Church (right there on the estate), followed by reception in the Tithe barn. It was stunning whatever the weather, and the perfect choice if you are going more winter/out of the summer season, because the barn was so cosy. Gail was incredible throughout and in all honesty, we really didn't have to do a lot - the venue has so much character of its own, it's all any of our guests could talk about! We will be thinking about the day and the estate for a long time! Couldn't have picked a better venue.

This was the venue of our dreams! Gail was fantastic, always happy to help with our many questions and walked us through everything we needed to know. The grounds are stunning and it was such a privilege to be able to wander around - locations for beautiful photos are endless! The barn is gorgeous, the lounge area upstairs was brilliant for our guests who wanted a rest and the toilets are beautifully decorated! As soon as we arrived, we knew Hinton was the one!

After two years of planning with Gail as our main contact at Hinton St Mary we got married in April 2024, we had a truly wonderful wedding. Gail was phenomenal and very good with her recommendations throughout our planning. All our recommended suppliers knew the venue well making our planning easier. The venue was dry hire , many of our guests travelled from near and far so we made use of the venue from Friday to Sunday. The blank canvas of the barn was turned into something of our own which we decorated with fairy lights , rustic tables and chairs and greenery. The band played from the stage allowing a large dance floor below , the kitchen and toilets were great and easy to access. Other bonuses of the venue is St Peter’s church is just a few 100 meters from the venue and easy access for all guests . Accommodation onsite is available to the bridal party and those who need to stay on site , we found the accommodation to be very comfortable and convenient all weekend. We couldn’t recommend Hinton St Mary highly enough as a wedding venue.

What a wonderful venue! We have seen a lot of wedding venues but Yarlington House is always a highlight, we have performed at several weddings here and each year they have a fantastic high end marquee and stage for musicians. The catering is always lovely and venue and bar staff very friendly, we look forward to the next time we return to play here again. I went to the Country Brocante at Yarlington House, such a beautiful venue and wandered through the gorgeous gardens.

WOBK Festival held here which was very well organised and great fun. Beautiful setting..apparently they do weddings and have lovely gardens.

We rented some beautiful table decorations and flower pillars that complimented our wedding venue perfectly.They have a great range of items in their showroom and Dawn was so helpful and patient in taking through what items to choose. They are very professional and coordinated directly with the venue and had a delivery option making it seamless and efficient (one less thing for me to worry about!). Highly recommend :)

Winterborne Hire and Styling were incredible at making our day extra special. I visited their lovely show room a few months prior to our wedding. After discussing what we needed, they produced some spectacular arrangements to suit the theme for our wedding and to match our fresh flowers. They delivered them on time and installed them ready for the big day, so we did not need to lift a finger. We are so glad we went with them as the arrangements really elevated our ceremony area. From the first visit to the styling barn with Dawn right up until the wedding day itself and after the event, Dawn was on hand to help with any questions we had. We opted to set the venue decorations up ourselves the day prior to the wedding and this was made so easy as the beautiful arches were set up for us and the rest of the items we ordered came in extremely organised boxes which saved a lot of time. Winterborne were absolutely brilliant and so helpful throughout our wedding journey. They decorated our ladders with faux plants, and the results were stunning—the photos speak for themselves. We received so many compliments, and you honestly couldn’t tell the plants were artificial. In the lead-up, the team was incredibly supportive. They ensured everything was set up quickly, allowing us to move on with the rest of the decorations without feeling rushed. They even offered additional staff to help with other decorative elements, which was such a kind gesture. We just can’t recommend Winterborne enough!

We used Cartails to provide bar service at our wedding recently. After initial conversations with Harrison, Josh took over the planning of the event and both were brilliant to work with. They clearly had a wealth of experience planning the events, and were able to offer excellent advice and ideas without us ever feeling like we were being upsold. They provided everything we asked for, going to particularly effort to make sure we could have a slushy machine serving Froze. They went above and beyond in making sure the drinks offering was exactly what we were looking for. On the day, they constructed the circular bar quickly and efficiently, and this looked fantastic in the middle of the marquee. Drinks service throughout the whole day went perfectly, with Harrison and his team managing both the main circular bar and outside horsebox bar brilliantly. The Froze was a real hit and the after dinner cocktails went down very well too. The site was left spotless at the end of the night. We would happily recommend Cartails to anyone planning their own wedding, and would love to work with them again should we have any other large events.

Harrison was incredibly efficient in the lead up to agreeing arrangements for our daughter’s wedding and the team were equally professional on the day. The bar became the centre of the post-dinner party with excellent cocktails and magnificent service. Strongly recommend.

My daughter had her wedding here and I have to say a big thank you to becca and Olli, the attraction to detail and level of service just couldn't have been better, the food was outstanding and the venue itself is gorgeous, lovely views all round which made the outdoor ceremony even better, well done to all the staff,.

We got married at Cott Farm in May this year and it was the perfect venue! The first time we went to Cott Farm we knew it was the place for us - the countryside surrounding it is beautiful, and the barn itself has all the facilities we were looking for, as well as the ability to personalise which nowadays with wedding venues are hard to come by! We had the venue for the whole wedding weekend which made everything feel so relaxed as we weren't rushed to set up or clean up. And then Becca & Ollie - it's difficult to sum up how helpful and friendly they are and I really don't think anything I can write will do them justice. From the day we met them, all the way up to the day after the wedding, they were on hand to help with everything - before the wedding: answering random questions via email, recommending vendors and order of the day; day of the wedding: being on hand with Pimm's for us when we arrived at the venue, fluffing up my dress for photos.... honestly I could go on, but all I can say is that the day was less stressful knowing that we were in their hands. If you're looking for somewhere in the countryside where you can create the wedding of your dreams with excellent owners and a relaxed feel - Cott Farm is the one.

We hired Funtasia to provide a race night for a charity event recently. Right from the first email enquiry, they have always been quick to respond and provided clear instructions on what we needed to do prior to the event. Throughout the process they let me know different ways to make sure we raised the maximum amount of money. On the night, they arrived early, set everything up themselves and run the entire evening faultlessly. I would highly recommend Funtasia for your event.

We hired a photo booth for our wedding this summer. The booth was a lot of fun and really loved our print outs, guest book and props. Also plus of having online copies of each print. Only feedback we had is the member of staff who attended to man the booth did nothing the whole evening, slightly unsure why they were there. For example did not encourage people to use the guest book or the booth, just stood silently next to it all night.

No issues whatsoever. I personally didn't use the casino tables but they were busy during our party and everyone has said how they enjoyed them, the fake money and the staff were perfect. I, myself, took full advantage of the photobooth which was easy to use, great props and the lovely young chap was on hand if any help needed. It was all ready for when we got there and loved the positioning of the entertainment.

The communication, team setup, as well as the services overall was amazing! They provide a full detailed timescale of when they'd arrive, and when they'd open the tables up and leaving time, all around the time of our event, planned perfectly. We had a 1920's themed Christmas Dinner for our company, and nothing made it more authentic than Funtasia's Casino Tables! Would highly recommend!
