What a lovely tea room. Beautifully decorated and stocked full of unique and tasty treats from locally and from europe. We found this cafe yesterday by accident after a long dog walk. We had some really nice cakes, that accompanied our refreshments well. The coffee was lovely! The atmosphere was welcoming. Staff or owners (unsure) just so happy to help / answer questions. I don't normally do reviews but feel this place needs a shout out at how nice it was.

We had the Halloumi Wrap and the Roasted Veg. Hummus Avocado Baguette. Both were delicious. Nice setting and a large menu generally with some more vegan options such as the Butternut Squash Soup. Good pricing too and service.

An incredible hidden gem! Staff were so helpful and friendly. Having a large booking they rang the day before to confirm brought over extra chairs when required as well. The food was incredible the portions don’t look big but I left so full and having had the best time! The dishes were so aesthetically pleasing to the eye and had one of the best afternoon teas I’ve had. Only criticism is for the scones more jam and cream required on the afternoon teas but it was still delicious nonetheless.

Beautiful place with a lovely bustling quirky atmosphere. Staff were friendly, polite and attentive. Managed to find us a table for breakfast inside on a busy Saturday morning, and provided us with a take out cup for my coffee which I hadn't finished by the time we were leaving. Lovely outside seating area. Lots of choice for breakfast. When the full English was brought over it looked like something was missing, we checked the menu and everything was present that was advertised. We then realised it was missing Baked Beans!!! We feel this is a staple element of any Full English, and wouldn't cost much for them to include this. The poached eggs were on the under side of perfectly cooked, so was just edible. An enjoyable visit.

Amazing food, highly recommend the halloumi wrap or the quiche. Friendly staff although service was a little slow, however it was busy so to be expected to an extent. Great value for money on food and drink choices and lovely cosy atmosphere. Recommend a visit for an authentic Dorset countryside experience

This cozy cafe inside a repurposed train carriage is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is charming and intimate, with the vintage feel of the train adding a special touch. I had a quesadilla, which was tasty, and the coffee was outstanding—rich, aromatic, and perfectly brewed. A great spot for a relaxing visit with excellent coffee and a unique setting!

Me and my wife absolute loved the Steam Cafe. It had such a lovely atmosphere in a unique setting. The staff were very friendly and chatty, which is always nice. We had the cream tea which was really well priced. I would highly recommend a visit.

Corfe Castle Village Bakery

A good bakery is a joy and this is one of the best in Dorset. Despite being in the main tourist village their prices are normal and it's proper traditional cakes and sarnies all the way. You can get a full picnic and take it up to the castle. It's very popular and queues are out the door normally. But the staff are really efficient so you don't wait long. My favourites are the sausage rolls and scones. They definitely deserve all the awards they've won.

The bread is gorgeous, soft fresh and £1.30 for a loaf! Homemade bread roll with generous filling of bacon and sausages. Egg custard tart was amazing, sweet and flavourful and only 90p. Jam tart for 70p and equally delicious. Belgian bun was a little tough but that's okay, still very tasty. Honestly amazing price for what you get. You can't get the same taste and quality at the supermarket, and the price is so low. I had to go back in to get some more. I wish I lived a bit closer. The lady who served me was very lovely too.

Seriously the best bakery in the area. I had chicken and leek pasty, cheese and onion slice, florentine and chocolate/rum ball. The pasty… the best I have ever tasted! I recently visited Cornwall and was excited to try local pasties but honestly… none of the Cornwall pasties reaches anywhere near deliciousness of Corfe Castle Pasties. If you feel like I am wrong, please tell me where they have better and I am happy to go, thy and review. The cheese and onion slice…ulala…rude how good it is. Florentine was lovely and crunchy. Only the rum and chocolate ball was not up to expectations. There is no rum. Maybe you should change name to chocolate ball. It’s disappointing if one expect punchy rum taste and nothing happens. Other than that, this place is definitely worth of visit with empty stomach.

We have been here many times over the years but this year we came a bit earlier and there was no queue which was good for us. We had the large Cornish pasties and they were very nice. Fresh and hot. The vegetarian pasties were not as nice with the wholemeal pastry. They would have been better in my opinion with the traditional pastry. The cakes were delicious. Really fresh and tasty. The prices were reasonable with the large pasty being £4.50 and the cakes around the £1.10 mark. The staff were friendly and it made a nice lunch for us.
