My Hubby and have been eating curries for Nearly a quarter of a century. And we rarely have an amazing one! But we have tried Club Desh... The flavours are truly amazing.! The depth of flavour, and the taste of the fresh ingredients, are what you expect from a London Eatery.... Will look forward to our next meal. Such an interesting, varied menu..... Highly recommend - always superb! The great thing about this restaurant is that everything is good! The curries, poppadoms, breads, the chutney - wow the chutney is excellent. Fantastic curry takeaway, highly recommended. You must try this place! I'd just say it would be better if we could order online through their website and also if the restaurant could confirm poppadoms are included. The first time I ordered curry but no poppadoms (I assumed they would be included like curry houses usually do). Then other times I've added poppadoms to the order and received loads. Its become the norm to expect poppadoms and a lottle annoying if you have to add them as extras at a cost.

Really tasty food. Delivered when expected and still steaming hot. Disappointed with the tandoori prawns as a main, £13.95 for 3 prawns. They were huge prawns, but when you can order them as a starter and get 2 prawns for £7, the main is very poor value for money. Note to self: Better off ordering 2 tandoori prawn starters for £14 and receiving 4 prawns. Other than that, very happy.

We visited the outdoor dining / drinks area (“The Hatch”) as a much promised way to break up a long dog walk. Plenty of space around the tables. Dog was happy, coffees were good and the menus were tempting. Beyond golf, it’s pitched at cyclists and walkers using the Castleman Trail, so it’s a great location for rendezvous or post event socials.

Great food - great atmosphere! Wonderful roast beef Sunday lunch with the most amazing cauliflower cheese I've ever had. Lovely friendly staff too!

While this is aimed at the golfers, anyone can turn up. Plenty of tables. Comfy sofas ( if you can get to them), Fresh cooked food and a great selection of drinks. Staff are friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Breakfast is superb and consistently good on the couple of days we stayed nearby. The evening meal was equally good. We will definitely return as is dog friendly with plenty of seating space both in and out doors

Wow is all I can start this review with……What absolutely incredible food, we had Indian donner and lamb chops corn on cob each takeaway. It was just amazing, anyone reading this review do yourself a favour and treat yourself to something from this very tasty place ❤️❤️❤️

Best doner kebab I've ever had and I was sober! Choice of original, Naga or Jalfrezi, I went for Naga, probably about the same heat as a Madras curry. Delicious!

Dancing Roosters Delivers Every time I visit, NEVER a disappointed meal. The Staff are Friendly People, Passionate about Serving Really Decent food Bursting with flavour ! And Big Portions always Served. ( Gym sharks will be getting their protein kick for sure.) I travel 30minutes to this place - Because I know it's gonna be top Notch Tucker Every Single time. We just wanted to say thank you for the amazing time we had last night to celebrate our son’s 21st in one of the Woodland Huts. The food was incredible and the service provided by the all the team was just brilliant. We especially wanted to give a massive thank you to Clare, who looked after us all evening - nothing was too much trouble, she was very friendly and always smiling. She made us feel so welcome and relaxed from the minute we arrived. Thanks again for a great night!

This has to be one of the best places I have ever been staff awesome food amazing place and setting spectacular This place woukd be the perfect setting for a wedding venue the garden out back is big lovely views and just so nice to be around If your in the area or even if your not come have a look and something to.eat you will not be disappointed

Wow what a delight it was to have eaten in this establishment. The staff were amazing and friendly. The food was a delicious from beginning to end and each course was extremely enjoyable and very well executed. We enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely be returning soon. Great great place, they very kindly opened for us on a Monday lunch to celebrate our daughter’s 25th birthday. So busy eating and celebrating that I forgot to take photos of the food.

The food is just fantastic, really good quality proper HOME COOKED Food - you definitely won’t leave feeling hungry, The staff couldn’t be more helpful- Think we have found out new favourite place to eat…

Fabulous home cooked food, great beers. The staff and owner are friendly making the pub have a great comfy atmosphere. They also make the correct gravy for their meats, beef, lamb and chicken gravy. Not just beef as the majority of pubs do!

This building has been in the family for over a 100 years come see this lovely building and enjoy some delicious old fashioned food. He was telling us some lovely stories about his family and how many generations have owned it and he even said the people were out with their phones measuring the difference angles of the floor it's pretty incredible. We haven't stayed in the rooms per se but I imagine there are amazing

We had a fab time here this morning. It was very wet and muddy after all the rain we've had recently but my kids loved splashing on the trail. I even enjoyed a hot coffee while they played in the play area and my 3yo was thrilled with her gluten free brownie! Fab facilities, clean toilets and baby changing area. We will be back 😀

Gullivers Farm Shop & Kitchen is a gem for families and the community! We thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas events for our little ones! The food is fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared, with superb coffee that’s hard to beat. The shop is full of organic, local produce, and the whole place has a warm, welcoming vibe. We loved the family-friendly activities like meeting the farm animals and the play area for kids. What really stands out is the amazing work they do to support adults with varying support needs, creating opportunities and a real sense of community. It’s a fantastic place for great food, great coffee, and a meaningful experience!

Really nice assortment of produce in the farm shop and best kept chickens eggs’ to buy! Really nice coffee inside with good service. Lovely presented food. Very cosy inside.

Brilliant for brunch - yesterday was the first time we’ve been back since the new kitchen has gone in. We were both wowed by “Dom’s Special” which was the best avocado, salsa, chilli jam, poached egg on sourdough: accompanied by perfect cappuccino and tea. Thank you!

Visited family over the Christmas period and chose to stay here, this premier inn is consistently good! The staff are always welcoming and happy to help. Rooms are what you’d expect for premier inn, comfortably clean.

I stayed here for two nights with my wife and our six-month-old baby. The rooms were modern and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable, and all the amenities worked as expected. The staff were incredibly helpful and always ready to assist us. When I needed an iron and board, they promptly arranged for them. Our baby slept soundly throughout our stay, and they kindly provided a safe cot for her before we arrived. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a lovely lunch with my husband at The Curlew. Food was excellent especially my amazing mango and passion fruit pavlova. Kate was excellent making sure I got the right deals from my app! We will return again as we love good service.

A nice atmosphere, good quality food and friendly staff. We went out for a family birthday meal with the grandparents as we received a 40% off mains voucher, which made it more value for money; I personally would not go at full price. Because of the promotion it was very busy in the restaurant and food was a little slow in coming out as expected, but they communicated with us when our food was due. One of the plates had to be sent back because elements of the dish was cold, but they sorted this ASAP. I would recommend going here for dinner, but perhaps the usual price is a little more than I'd like to pay for the food. Plenty of choice on the menu and a lovely atmosphere to be in.

we came here for Father’s Day lunch. they were offering a set menu for just under £30 for 3 courses. food was lovely, I had the 3-meat roast dinner with extras, my brother has the veggie roast and our dad had the fish’n’chips. HIGHLY recommend the lemon tart for dessert 🍋🥧 lovely service, they managed an obviously busy Father’s Day very well. PLUS 🐶 friendly which is always a plus.

This week, a lunchtime visit to The Curlew and it didn't disappoint. A great welcome when we arrived and we found a dog friendly seating area for Mr Ted. The service was friendly and efficient. We liked the varied menu opting for Prawn skewers , Thai chicken & coconut curry, fruit crumble and banana choux bun. With drinks , 2 courses came to £65. We will definitely return.

We regularly visit the white hart on Fridays with my wife, young daughter and in-laws. David (the owner) is a great host and cannot do enough to ensure our time at the pub is enjoyable. He is great with our daughter and because mamma keeps her on a strict diet he has even made her food that is not on the menu. We love the food (especially the legendary ploughman’s and seasonal specials) and the atmosphere. We also tried a Sunday roast here recently and it was delicious. It’s a place that we are proud to call our local.

WOW what a fantastic hidden gem! As it was our first visit we were unsure what to expect. There was plenty of parking and seating outside on arrival. The friendly bar lady told us it had recently been refurbished and under new management. The decor was beautiful and had 2 log fires burning giving it a warm and welcoming feel. The staff, food and service was excellent. We had heard about the legendary ploughman’s which we wanted to try but unfortunately due to high demand they were waiting on a second delivery so we opted for the pie and stew which were both delicious! The only downside was an extremely rude woman sat on a nearby table who was causing a commotion about the ploughman’s being off the menu. The bar lady was extremely apologetic and was offering alternatives put the woman was not having any of it. She had no thought or consideration for other customer who were sat enjoying their meals. This went on for a good 10 minutes. She then got up and started shouting and waving her phone about at the staff in the bar area and proceeded to storm out with her husband looking extremely embarrassed in tow! We weren’t fortunate enough to try the ploughman’s but have booked to go again next week with friends and family. We also want to try the Sunday roast and were advised to book as they get very busy.
