Such a welcoming and friendly family run establishment. The food was delicious and clearly sourced locally where possible. This is a genuine establishment where you can eat as a visitor but feel welcomed as a local. Top stuff.

Absolutely fantastic meal! Nothing to fault with their speciality seafood platter - it was perfect! Fresh off-the-boat / local shellfish. Great location to top it all off - sunny terrace overlooking the old harbour. The staff and service was a delight too! Thanks for a great meal!

Fab, fab, fab. Went for lunch today. Lobster (caught that day just around the headland), chips, salad and corn 🌽. Absolutely perfect. Owner and staff so friendly and accommodating. Location is superb. Wine/beer/drinks menu extensive. Can't recommend it enough.

Spanish style small dishes prepared by the Argentinian owner who runs the place all by himself, how he so relaxed and chatty I can’t fathom. It’s a tiny place, maybe seats 14-16 if full. It’s rustic charm rather than high sophistication, but we loved it and plan to recommend it as widely as we can, and return of course.

Had a really enjoyable evening in Finnas. Marleco made us feel as if we had know him for years. I would highly recommend!

What a lovely little gem. The food is amazing and as authentic as you will find of the basque country. Intimate, welcoming and delicious. Almost want to keep this a secret but it needs to be shared!

Finna's is great! Delicious tapas and good wine deserve 5 stars. But if I could I would give 10 stars to Finna's for an amazing experience. Marcelo's hospitality is unique. We felt like we dined with an old friend, and a generous one. Will definitely be back and cannot recommend it enough!

I'm so sorry, I really must remember to take photos of the meals ! Yet again I've been caught up with the meal looking so nice that I just wanted to get on with eating it. We had gammon,chips and salad. I had egg with mine Sue had pineapple, these gammon steaks were huge "12oz" and I must say the chips were nice n' hot salad was fresh and crisp. We had black forest gateau with cream but I fancied custard and it was no problem to change it, drinks ? I had 2 pints of draught Guinness, Sue had a shandy. Total price was £ 55.60 had a great time and a great meal. In those famous words "I'll be back" ........

Table for three last Friday whilst staying overnight in Weymouth. Very nice evening, Kebab Grill was great, was tempted by the Mixed Grill but, to be honest the KG was enough, Mussels & White Wine sauce starter - excellent. Couldn't fault this restaurant, would definitely return if in Weymouth. Not on the cheap side but really worth the expense. Best to book in advance, it gets busy at the weekend. Thank you the Rona Bar & Grill.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant if you are in Weymouth go here for dinner you will not be disappointed. I had the mixed grill the selection of meats were cooked perfectly and delicious the lamb chops were excellent probably some of the best I have eaten in a Turkish restaurant. Friendly attentive staff reasonable prices if I ever come back to Weymouth ill be eating here again for certain.

Great food! All fresh, good portions and everything tastes delicious! You have to try the Salmon OMG so tasty, golden grilled and juicy 🤤

The best meal I have had in a very long time. Every mouthful was a joy - delightful different flavour combinations with exceptional standard of fresh products. You could tell a lot of thought and love went into every course. Favourites were the pea and cod croustade, the mackerel tartar with pickled elderflower and the jam doughnuts were a gorgeous zingy bomb that took me right back to childhood puddings! We had a fab waiter who really entertained us and made the whole experience more special and personalised. I would recommend to anyone who wants to try super fresh, seasonal seafood showing off what the sea around us has to offer. I haven't stopped talking about this place.

Outstanding 8 course taster menu. Beautifully cooked meal, so much fresh fish and seafood. Carefully adapted the menu to food allergies too. Can't wait to come back again!

Catch Weymouth WOW! WOW! WOW! What an experience!! We were very lucky to get a table at CATCH Weymouth  on september 11th and I completely messed up the times. We were meant to dine at 6pm and have the 4 course tasting menu and turned up at 6.45 by mistake. The host was so understanding and got us a table for 7pm with the 6 course evening tasting menu and we were so very grateful. This was one of those once in a lifetime opportunities where you experience a true culinary experience at a level unsurpassed.  Chef Mike Naidoo and his BOH team created a tasting menu beyond belief. Each course was delivered by the FOH team and then Mike would attend the table and give a full description how the dish was created and all the elements of cooking and ingredients. This for us, along with having our taste buds taken to on a journey of discovery and delight, to have chef at our table was the most amazing part of the evening,  to have such a highly esteemed and much respected chef spend time with us. Stunning!! The food and service this evening was absolutely incredible, I’ve never had lamb so good (recommended by the most lovely staff) First time eating at Halls kitchen and we will definitely be back! Absolutely has made our last minute weekend away perfect. Can’t recommend enough! Please leave reviews and show your support to these incredible independent businesses. Food was 10/10. I ordered the lamb and every mouthful was different. So many flavours and a very well thought out dish. 1000% would recommend. Our waitress was very attentive, smiley and friendly. We hope to be going back soon.

A little bit of finery in the heart of Weymouth. Absolutely beautiful food, expertly cooked to perfection. We had the fillet steak which melted on your tongue and the panache of seafood in saffron sauce which was packed with flavour complimenting the delicate nature of the variety of fish. A Dorset selection of cheeses and the best chilli jam I've ever tasted. Fine wine, relaxed informal chats with the attentive waiting staff made for a fantastic evening. Not overly priced and would absolutely recommend.

We booked here based on reviews, as we were on a weekend break to Weymouth. The reviews certainly reflected the experience we had, which was a great one! We mentioned to our Airbnb host that we'd booked here and she told us it was a popular place with the locals, which is always a good sign. Our waitress was funny, engaged and gave great service. That is really important as it's an intimate restaurant, so you want to feel relaxed. The waitress was great at giving recommendations. The menu had a great selection of seafood and meat dishes. The food we had was great quality and nicely presented. If you're looking for somewhere that serves tasty, fresh and wholesome food and you're willing to pay a bit more for it then this is the place for you. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, feels warm and cosy on an Autumn evening. Great experience, delicious food and a nice vibe! 10/10

Absolutely fantastic night, food was amazing, I ordered a drink off the menu and they made it for me. Service was great and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and chilled. Not rushed through courses either which made it more enjoyable. Thoroughly recommend.

We came for the beautiful view whilst eating and to scope out the menu and ambience for a hopeful venue and private dining. I can honestly say we were blown away. The building outside isn't the best or overly inviting, however once inside it's very beautiful! The menu has great choices and a big note that they do gluten free pasta on request for a small extra charge! With coeliac parents this is a huge plus for future visits with them. Our food was just delicious and plentiful we had starters & mains, wanted desserts but nicely satisfied so instead asked for the bill, a very reasonable price for a wonderful meal. We had a quick show around the private rooms as they were busy but we were very impressed with everything, we can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!

Recently moved to Weymouth and tried Sambos after recommendations from our locals at the pub we run. The food was phenomenal, Hannah who was looking after us was attentive and so friendly. The desserts were a lovely way to end a beautiful evening in Weymouth. Thank you to the team

Incredible! Visited for my partners birthday today, and so glad we came! We'd visited the Sambo in Poole 2 years ago, and it was our first time visiting the weymouth one, definitely one we'd return to in a heartbeat! Service was incredible, the staff were amazing and so friendly, drinks and food both came super quickly and recommendations for drinks were on point too. Restaurant itself was spotless, kept brilliantly clean immediately after tables had ended, nice layout too and great atmosphere. Food speaks for itself here, it's unbeatable for a Brazilian rodizio chain and somewhere that sits comfortably at top of my restaurant recommendations! Would love for there to be more across the country but makes it worth it to come down south to eat here. Thanks for a brilliant night and to the staff working too for a great evening 💫

I just wanted to send you a personal note to say how professional, supportive and seamless you made what could have been a real headache for me and all your team. Everyone had a thoroughly brilliant time and a number one for me the food was absolutely delicious and left me with no food hangover a sure sign it was fresh, proper ingredients and no additives .. just pure beautiful food, well cooked, great recipes and great service. Dining at The White Pepper Weymouth was a truly enjoyable experience. We started with a lovely glass of wine and were thrilled by the White Pepper Prawn Fry, which was perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. The main courses didn’t disappoint either. The White Pepper Chicken Mandi Biryani was wonderfully aromatic and the chicken was tender, while the Thattykada Chicken Fry had just the right amount of spice and a great crunch. What really stood out was the warm and attentive staff. They made us feel right at home and were genuinely caring throughout our meal. In all, The White Pepper Weymouth offers delicious food in a cozy, welcoming environment. We highly recommend it for a special meal.

I had wanted to visit for some time, as had heard good things. My wife had cruely gone with friends several times before we got a chance to visit together. We popped in without a reservation on a Saturday night and thankfully could be accomodated. The staff were friendly helpful and attentive. We were advised that as the food was cooked to order it may take a while. The food came out quicker than expected and we were not disappointed. Delicious Indian flavours, seemed far more authentic than other Indian Restaurant I have visited.

My sister and her husband had the coconut chicken dish which they thought was out of this world. Unusually for an Indian restaurant they served beef dishes. I had there speciality Kerala beef dish. It was excellent. The food was presented in a classy fashion which meant fine dining.

We had one night in Weymouth and luckily chose this place. From the initial email exchange to payment everything was bang on. Great seating outside on one of the warmest days of the year, a shared crab pate to start followed by two perfect fish dishes, skate wing and a pan fried bass, followed by a superb crème brûlée. Great beer and wine and a great decor. Pretty much perfect. All at a very fair price. Oh and I nearly forgot the samphire, like all the vegetables cooked to perfection.

We went on 23.11.24 to celebrate my brother-in-laws birthday. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. Great choice’s on the fixed menu and the food was superb, we couldn’t manage the dessert but we made our selection and it was boxed for us to take out. The drinks options were fantastic, including Estrella on draught, and a great selection of wines. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend Sea Beats.

Our second visit in as many summers. The scallops were divine, the sea bass superb and the cod outstanding. The chowder soup was good too with the accompanying bread pieces. No wonder they were the Best Seafood Establishment of the year for South in 2019 and 2022! We are looking at a third visit when we are in the Dorset area in the future.
