Really pleased with Frieda and I's experience here. Vet was amazing. Loved the conversation and mass of information he clearly had to give about how best to help my nans tortoise. Very calm environment for people and pets - having people waiting outside the building was preferable. Parking was easy and the place was quite easy to find too

She has had a number of major problems; diagnosed and dealt with expertly and explained meticulously. Our consultations were never hurries, no matter how busy he happened to be. Katie has helped with Fly's physiotherapy and advice with how to manage her back problem, for which I am extremely grateful.

Simply the best vet I have ever encountered. We travel 25 miles as have African Pygmy Hedgehogs as not many specialists around. David has performed numerous operations that defy belief and the knowledge and care provided is second to none. We are very grateful for all their efforts

Staff always friendly and the vets very conscientious and caring towards the animals. The premises is always clean and nicely decorated.

Steven is so friendly and accommodating. I was more than happy to trust him to look after Willow. He gave me updates everyday and I will definitely use them again.

Steven and Tomasz looked after our little poochon for the afternoon while we went kayaking. They were absolutely fantastic. They had asked if Biscuit would be happy to spend the afternoon with their dogs and we got the chance to meet them a couple of days beforehand to check that they all got on well. Steven and Tomasz then met us at our kayaking meeting point and brought Biscuit back at the end of the end of the day a very happy pooch. I would definitely recommend Steven and Tomasz if you need someone to take care of your four legged loved ones!

Steven looked after our 2 cats at short notice and immediately gave us confidence he would take such good care of them. He was excellent and the cats ( I kitten) really enjoyed his visits. He sent photos after each visit which was really comforting to see they were ok. This was the first time we had tried having anyone come “in” to take care of them and can definitely say we will be using Weymouth Pet Care again. Totally reliable and gave us peace of mind whilst away. 2 very happy cats on our return. Easy, trustworthy and fair, affordable pet care. Highly recommend.

Steven has been caring for my cats while I had a stay in hospital and upon my return too - he has gone above and beyond what was needed and always with a smile. Can't recommend him highly enough and will be using him again in the future. Update : Have now used Steven again to look after my cats while I was away on a two week holiday (June 2024) and the service was still A1 - I was sent lots of regular pics and messages on how they were - which was great.

Really friendly helpful staff. I made a mistake with the booking but they were very polite about it and bent over backwards to fit me in. They are very expensive though. Wormer and passport plus one month medication from my local vet is £92. Wormer and passport plus 2 wks medication from medivet was £130.

I’ve lost count of the years we’ve been with Hillside Vets. Started with our rabbit Bob who sadly had to have his life ended. Now they care for Trevor our Jack Russell X who is soon to be 13 and Daisy our Chihuahua who is 6. All the staff are kind, loving & courteous and that’s just the owners! 😂 You can tell they love animals and even though Trevor is nervous they are so kind and reassure them both so well. I would absolutely recommend Hillside. They may not be the cheapest but the care and attention they give to both pet and owner is sublime. Have just been to this vet for the 1st time with my kittens. The amazing vet had both kittens so relaxed. Darla had a bad start to life but sang her way through her visit. As for Drusilla she was her ever demanding self, forcing headbutt's and treats. The kitten pack is amazing with a little teddy. The calming towel provided is a great touch and works a dream. I have found this vet to be good value for money. We were not rushed through our appointment and staff members show the love they have for animals.

Olaf just loves Keith…she never gets stressed with him. The entire team are really helpful and always do everything possible for clients and their pets. I would highly recommend

Hillside Vets have been absolutely fantastic so far with our puppy. We first took her there at 13wks, and have been there for several visits since then as part of their brilliant Pet Plan. Our pup loves coming here and can't get our of the car fast enough! The staff give so much love and attention to our little girl, and we feel really at ease and confident in using their services for many years to come. The staff are knowledgeable, caring, warm, and just can't give enough every time, no matter how big or small our query may be. Their social media team is also amazing and we love seeing the behind-the-scenes on their Facebook posts! What a fantastic local vet clinic with such a great team.

My 15 year old cat, who we already knew had an ongoing illness, suddenly became much worse today. Being a Sunday and tomorrow Bank Holiday Monday, I was referred to Bournemouth/Wimborne “Vets Now” Emergency Hospital. They were wonderful! Yes, they were busy with many incoming emergencies but that was to be expected. After a while we were seen by an extremely compassionate vet who made a examination of Bamboo and came to the same conclusion, euthanasia was needed to avoid any further suffering. The whole process was explained clearly and without fuss which I appreciated. Medication was prepared and we proceeded to let Boo-cat go gently and peacefully to sleep. I put all future arrangements in the vets hands, as individual cremation and return of his ashes could be arranged at the same time. When you first take on responsibility for the life of an animal you hope for fun and happiness together for many years. The happiness you gain from their companionship and trust has to be repaid at the end of life too, by being aware of their pain and giving them a peaceful end to a life well lived. A huge “Thank You” to everyone at ‘Vets Now’ Wimborne this evening, who cared so well for me and for my lovely black cat who was such a good boy for so long. Good memories Bamboo. Be at peace xx

Tom was amazing. He got Monty seen straight away and was so kind and made me feel at ease. The reception staff, especially Laura were kind and so helpful

If you’re ever worried about your pet out of hours this is the place to take them. Receptionist was so patient and lovely with me, as I was crying over the phone. Upon arrival she was so nice and understood that our staffy Izzy was nervous of dogs and arranged for the vet to collect us from the car. The vet took decisive action and was upfront and totally honest about costs, chances of survival and what would be best for us. He gave our staffy a dose of steroids that no doubt got her through the weekend ready for our usual vets on Monday morning. She has since been diagnosed with immune-mediated hemolytic anemia, and she is incredibly poorly. We’re still not sure if she will pull through, but the vet was also very honest about a blood transfusion and the cost of at least £5000. He put our minds at rest in that we are doing everything we can and he saved her little life over that weekend for sure. The charge was very reasonable, which was on a Sunday with steroids, antibiotics and anti sickness. So so glad we took a chance on them. Thank you so much and thank you for being human, we have found other vets, especially emergency ones quite the opposite.

Excellent service at a time anxieties were high. Calm, friendly staff. My dog was quite relaxed with the staff, most of the time. Reception was clean and tidy with lots of information. We were kept informed of the reason for delay in seeing vet straight way. If my dog is happy, then so am I.

can’t recommend them enough - all super friendly, great receptionist's. So good with all my dogs needs. Been with them over 4 years and always impressed with every visit.

I have been so pleased with the care I have received at vets 4 Pets Dorchester. The team are all lovely and so helpful and my cat Philip has been very well looked after.

Taken my dog here for over 6 over years always professional care given, they have some very reasonably priced pet plans for flea, worming and jabs. Always nice and clean with designated areas for cats and dogs. Will continue to use for many years to come

Amazing service - Jordan has been amazing with my sprocker spaniel, always gives the time of day for any concerns big or small. Great reception team who are always patient. Vet nurses also been amazing pre and post spaying op! Can’t thank them enough, coming from an anxious owner constantly worrying about my dog.

Exceptional Veterinary Practice. Although I have been a client for many years, my dog Jack seldom needs care. Recently however he was suffering a gland problem.. Jack is an imported rescue and the BVA recommend a safeguarding procedure (blood test) prior to any surgery in such cases due to possible Brucellosis infection. I was uncertain of the benefits, but was able to have a practical and sensible discussion with Giles, beforehand Jack had the procedure under sedation & Giles whipped out a loose back tooth too. Jack is not insured, but I was given an estimate of cost at our initial consultation which matched our final invoice. Thank you Giles, it seems to have done the trick and Jack has forgiven you (almost!)

We had to say goodnight to our gorgeous girl Mimi last month, after 14yrs together. Medivet Dorchester was our 24hr emergency practice and saw Mimi within the hour Rita the duty vet was so compassionate. Rita tried her hardest to help Mimi and made sure we were fully informed of all possibilities. We unfortunately had to make the hard decision to say goodnight. Rita and the staff allowed us to spend the time to say our good nights before she left us and to stay during and after her leaving us. We cannot thank Rita and her team for all they did for us on that distressing evening. Our faith in the staff led us to leave our then practice and register our dogs with Dorchester Medivet

The staff at Dorchester Medivet were incredible with our 18 years old westipoo who unfortunately had to be put to rest on 1,09,2024 we are forever thankful for there kinds souls and support they gave when it was time to say goodbye to a family member Ted x bless all that work so hard around the clock to make sure our friends and company are taking care of in their last hours x thank you all staff xx Mr and Mrs Chris XxX
