“My Nelly has had a few issues and had to have an emergency op due to eating a fish hook! She was referred by Castle to a vet hospital and it was arranged very quickly. I can't fault the team at both Dorchester Road and Poundbury at all. Reasonably priced in vet terms I think and I would highly recommend.”

“Always has the pets' best interest at heart, rather than the profit driven experience I've had at other multi national owned vetinary surgeries. Good common sense approach, kind and caring.”

“If you’re ever worried about your pet out of hours this is the place to take them. Receptionist was so patient and lovely with me, as I was crying over the phone. Upon arrival she was so nice and understood that our staffy Izzy was nervous of dogs and arranged for the vet to collect us from the car. The vet took decisive action and was upfront and totally honest about costs, chances of survival and what would be best for us. He gave our staffy a dose of steroids that no doubt got her through the weekend ready for our usual vets on Monday morning. She has since been diagnosed with immune-mediated hemolytic anemia, and she is incredibly poorly. We’re still not sure if she will pull through, but the vet was also very honest about a blood transfusion and the cost of at least £5000. He put our minds at rest in that we are doing everything we can and he saved her little life over that weekend for sure. The charge was very reasonable, which was on a Sunday with steroids, antibiotics and anti sickness. So so glad we took a chance on them. Thank you so much and thank you for being human, we have found other vets, especially emergency ones quite the opposite.”
