I can’t recommend hamstone vets highly enough. Great friendly customer service backed up by buckets of knowledge and experience. The facility is super clean, spacious and comprehensive. The reception staff are lovely, clearly animal lovers and the vets are amazing. I won’t ever go anywhere else.

First visit to Hamstone vets today, and both myself and more importantly my little dog had a delightful experience. From first speaking with Hayley to then being treated by Emily- both absolutely lovely people, kind and gentle. Thank you very much.

We cannot recommend this vet surgery highly enough, the care and kindness shown to us when our cat Freddie needed surgery and when we made the awful decision to say goodbye to our older cat Tuka was outstanding. All the staff are amazing and always make you feel like an old friend rather than a client. A huge thank you from us - and Freddie and Stanley of course!

Amazing Care for My Cat Hamish I can't thank Hamstone Vet enough for the outstanding care they provided for my cat. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, professional, and attentive. They took the time to explain every step of the process, ensuring I felt informed and confident in their care. My cat was shy, but the team handled him with such gentleness and expertise that he seemed more at ease than I expected. I truly appreciate their dedication, kindness, and the follow-up care advice they provided. Thank you for treating my furry friend like one of your own

Magnolia House Veterinary Clinic

Rating: 4.9 (198) Price Level:
Our tortoise had suffered what we thought was a prolapse. Having been with our local vet Seadown for many years previously, we called then for advice. The receptionist at Seadown was very unhelpful and told us that because it had been over 4 years since our last appointment, we would have to re-register, which could take 6 to 8 weeks. We were not offered an appointment. So we contacted Magnolia House vets, and the service we received was second to none. The receptionist was more than helpful, and despite having to register and being fully booked, we were offered a 6pm appointment that day. On our arrival, the receptionist was cheerful and very helpful. The vetinary surgeon, Esme, was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and extremely attentive and explained everything. We left Amber with them. Whatever the outcome, we could find no fault in the service we received and believe Amber will receive the best care possible. 12 out of 10. Thank you.

I have a bearded dragon that I rescued and Stan has been wonderful, explaining all the things I needed to know as she has MBD and a mouth rot. I have been three times to Magnolia House and each time, I have felt nothing but welcome and reassured by all staff. Stan was also very understanding of my financial situation and thought this through before telling me what needed to be done. I'm very happy with Magnolia House and would definitely recommend any body with Exotic pets to go here.

Friendly, professional, nothing is ever too much trouble, and the pets always come first: everything I could want from a practice. and as we have 3 dogs, we need a great practice! Plus, they know about Leish, and as one of my fur kids is a Spanish rescue and Leish pos, it’s such a relief! 100% recommend

I was told by a different vet that I should seriously think about letting my pet go. The vet’s I saw at Coombefield gave me hope back & I’ve got a treatment plan going forward. I now hopefully have many more years to look forward too. Excellent from start to finish. Will be going back for sure. Highly recommend.

Really pleased with Frieda and I's experience here. Vet was amazing. Loved the conversation and mass of information he clearly had to give about how best to help my nans tortoise. Very calm environment for people and pets - having people waiting outside the building was preferable. Parking was easy and the place was quite easy to find too

Simply the best vet I have ever encountered. We travel 25 miles as have African Pygmy Hedgehogs as not many specialists around. David has performed numerous operations that defy belief and the knowledge and care provided is second to none. We are very grateful for all their efforts

Posted on behalf of Angela Walker Peacock and Fly. A very big thank you to David for all he's done for Fly over the last 10 years (he has done her proud). She has had a number of major problems; diagnosed and dealt with expertly and explained meticulously. Our consultations were never hurries, no matter how busy he happened to be. Katie has helped with Fly's physiotherapy and advice with how to manage her back problem, for which I am extremely grateful.

My beautiful little cat Lola sadly had to be put to sleep yesterday. I’m heart broken 💔. She was diagnosed with heart disease following a blood clot in November 2021. I initially saw Claire who was absolutely amazing and so caring - I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful vet at such an horrendous time. She also spoke to me on the phone regularly to see how Lola was doing. Yesterday I had to rush Lola in as she was struggling to breathe and had lost the use of her back legs - another blood clot. Although they were busy Rachael saw us very quickly which I was so grateful for. Rachael and Emily were so lovely and gave me the time and space to say goodbye to Lola. Thank you so much for everything you have all done over the past months. I feel so grateful to have such a wonderful veterinary practice - always friendly and caring xxx

Thank you to Vanessa and Ollie. And team. For your care of Otto and us. Always kind, offering options and clear about costs. Especially when Otto's leg was torn and he needed an operation and recovery cage. He is joyfully out and about at his great age of 17!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I have been taking my cats here for years. Sadly my cat Milo became poorly and required many visits and constant check ups. Oliver was more than happy to have regular phone calls to review medication and amend as necessary, nothing felt like too much trouble. Unfortunately he was unable to get better but the staff here went out of their way to do everything they could and showed professionalism and compassion at every stage. I also had appointments with Oscar and Rebecca, and felt equally impressed with their knowledge, support and advice. The receptionists Chrissie and Shelly could not be more kind and compassionate and remember who you are when you call or visit. I can't speak highly enough of the team at Haydon Vets, and wouldn't hesitate to encourage people to register here. This is a team of people that are clearly passionate and care deeply about their customers.

Everyone has been so caring, kind and understanding at Haydon vets. They are so easy to talk to and are trying everything they can to help our poorly little pouch in a way that is best for him and keeping the costs as low as possible for us as we dont have pet insurance. I always feel comforted and reassured and trust everything they are doing. We are so very grateful to each member of staff there. Thank you! 🐾

Rating: 4.8 (206) Price Level:
All staff are fabulous! There receptionists are pleasant to talk to and kind. The nursing staff are second to none. The veterinary surgeons are professional, caring, very knowledgeable, gentle and sympathetic. Our cats have had more than 9 lives because of these people. Veterinary surgeon Modestas has known our cats for over 16 years. He has nurtured and loved our twin gingers and saved Sox many times with his fantastic knowledge of medication and procedures since he was 2 years old. We are so very grateful for everything he has done. We recently sadly, said goodbye to Sox. The care and respect for him and us was very touching. We can, without any hesitation recommend Kingston Vets in Yeovil.
