Simply the best vet I have ever encountered. We travel 25 miles as have African Pygmy Hedgehogs as not many specialists around. David has performed numerous operations that defy belief and the knowledge and care provided is second to none. We are very grateful for all their efforts

Really pleased with Frieda and I's experience here. Vet was amazing. Loved the conversation and mass of information he clearly had to give about how best to help my nans tortoise. Very calm environment for people and pets - having people waiting outside the building was preferable. Parking was easy and the place was quite easy to find too

Posted on behalf of Angela Walker Peacock and Fly. A very big thank you to David for all he's done for Fly over the last 10 years (he has done her proud). She has had a number of major problems; diagnosed and dealt with expertly and explained meticulously. Our consultations were never hurries, no matter how busy he happened to be. Katie has helped with Fly's physiotherapy and advice with how to manage her back problem, for which I am extremely grateful.

Everyone has been so caring, kind and understanding at Haydon vets. They are so easy to talk to and are trying everything they can to help our poorly little pouch in a way that is best for him and keeping the costs as low as possible for us as we dont have pet insurance. I always feel comforted and reassured and trust everything they are doing. We are so very grateful to each member of staff there. Thank you! šŸ¾

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I have been taking my cats here for years. Sadly my cat Milo became poorly and required many visits and constant check ups. Oliver was more than happy to have regular phone calls to review medication and amend as necessary, nothing felt like too much trouble. Unfortunately he was unable to get better but the staff here went out of their way to do everything they could and showed professionalism and compassion at every stage. I also had appointments with Oscar and Rebecca, and felt equally impressed with their knowledge, support and advice. The receptionists Chrissie and Shelly could not be more kind and compassionate and remember who you are when you call or visit. I can't speak highly enough of the team at Haydon Vets, and wouldn't hesitate to encourage people to register here. This is a team of people that are clearly passionate and care deeply about their customers.

We recently lost our beloved Lurcher Blitzen through Liver failure and although we had just moved to SMV in the short time that we had been going there for both our Lurchers, they have been amazing. Even HAND writing a condolence letter to us about Blitzen which has helped ease our pain so much.

Absolutely incredible vets practice. A small practice but with a lot of experience and expertise. All of the staff have been so efficient and very friendly; the nurses and reception team are always so welcoming and happy to help. The whole team have been brilliant with communication; we always get a same day appointment, a phone call follow-up as soon as results are in and also a hand-written letter confirming everything discussed. Mrs Scott has been amazing. She has helped us through a very challenging time with our puppy who has not been well. Our puppy has been quite a complex case but was diagnosed very quickly. Mrs Scott has been very patient, understanding and explains everything perfectly. I really canā€™t recommend this surgery enough. It was google reviews that lead me to choose this surgery after recently moving to the area so I hope this post will convince another pet owner to also choose Stalbridge and Marnhull vets!

All staff are fabulous! There receptionists are pleasant to talk to and kind. The nursing staff are second to none. The veterinary surgeons are professional, caring, very knowledgeable, gentle and sympathetic. Our cats have had more than 9 lives because of these people. Veterinary surgeon Modestas has known our cats for over 16 years. He has nurtured and loved our twin gingers and saved Sox many times with his fantastic knowledge of medication and procedures since he was 2 years old. We are so very grateful for everything he has done. We recently sadly, said goodbye to Sox. The care and respect for him and us was very touching. We can, without any hesitation recommend Kingston Vets in Yeovil.

Annual checkups for Roobarb and Captain Custard. They're both very cautious of new humans and the vet saw was so patient and caring; neither animal seems to have suffered and lasting trauma!

My cats Merlin and Gus had their injections here at Damory, Blandford and the team are just so lovely. The waiting room was clean and I love that they offered towels sprayed with Feliway. Thereā€™s also a place off the ground to place your cat carrier to give that extra comfort for your cat. Iā€™ve also signed up for the monthly pet plan. Theyā€™ve assured me that they will send text reminders for worm/flea/yearly vaccination too which is great! šŸ±

Damory vets are truly amazing. They are so helpful and friendly. They are very understanding when I tell them I don't drive so will need a weekend appointment. They are very patient with all the questions and don't make you feel like you have to rush. They are so good with my cats and very gentle. They have a separate waiting room for cats and dogs and provide blankets to cover your cat carriers so your cats are less stress when waiting. I would recommend them every time.

Recently took my cat here after a referral from my vet. My cat looked ok and was eating and my vet picked up an irregular heartbeat. The day I took him I was not expecting to be told he either needs putting to sleep that day or a procedure to help him as it was worse than we thought. We chose the procedure. Alice the Specialist was lovely and talked me through everything throughout the whole process and other members of staff I saw were also friendly and helpful. I now have my precious boy back thanks to Alice and her team so can't thank them enough for giving me more time with my little boy.

A very clean and professional environment. The first points of contact, the receptionists were very polite and efficient. When we met Alba (surgeon) and her assistant, I was super impressed by how polite and thorough they were. I feel more than reassured that she will carry out the surgery on my hound to a high standard. I will report back after this is done shortly. The practice has plenty of parking, along with a number of disabled bays. The appearance of the practice is maintained to a high standard. Oh, and I nearly forgot there is a free tea and coffee bar with biscuits available šŸ˜‹

As a family, we recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our beloved 19 year old cat, Gump. We wanted him to be at home as heā€™d always been such a home boy and we couldnā€™t bear the thought of him not being on his beloved sofa for his final sleep. We found Fond Farewell after a quick Google search and Suzy was very thoughtful and understanding when I spoke with her on the phone. James called back a little while later to confirm a few details and discuss when weā€™d like him to visit. As we have 2 secondary school aged daughters we asked for a later visit as we wanted to bring them home first to spend some time with Gump before James visited us, he was very accommodating regarding this. James arrived and took plenty of time to explain, firstly to my husband and myself what would happen, and then our daughters joined us before he began with the process. James was incredibly calm, professional and thoughtful when it came to dealing with not only 2 adults, but 2 heartbroken teenage girls. He never once rushed us and also went to another room whilst we said goodbye one last time as a family, before returning for the final injections. Our beautiful boy, passed away peacefully surrounded by the people who had loved him for 19 years, at home in his favourite spot and we are incredibly grateful that we could do this for him. Thank you Fond Farewell for undertaking, what cannot be an easy task, in such a thoughtful, considerate and kind manner. We will be forever thankful that on such a sad day you were able to make it just that bit easier on us all.

They say it's 1 of the hardest decisions you make, and they are totally right, but with a heavy heart I made the call. From 1st phone call I was reassured and made to feel calm by James. He listened to Patch's life story and reassure me it was the best thing for him. As for the dreaded day I can not express how peacefull James made it, was able to hold patch as he drifted off snoring away in his own bed. Wasn't intrusive and wasn't rushed just very peaceful. The aftercare was outstanding. Patch wasn't a pet he was a family member, and we couldn't of wished for a better sending off.

At nearly 15 years old we had to make the very hard decision to say goodbye to our gorgeous Black Labrador Charlie. Rather than taking Charlie to the vets we decided to have him put to sleep at our home. We did our research & found Fond Farewell Vets. James was superb, handling everything from start to finish sympathetically to us and with dignity & care for Charlie. For such a very sad occasion we both felt it could not of been handled better. James took care of every detail & our lovely boy had his last tasty treats on his quilt out in the garden. We will miss him everyday but we both know he had the best ending to a full & fun life. Thank you to James for helping us with making the right decision & for taking such good care of us and Charlie in his final hours. Chris & Chris

A huge thank you to James & Suzy for their help, understanding and consideration during an increasingly inevitable, but surprisingly unexpected and painful time of saying farewell to our treasured & well loved 15 year old Hardy. I still canā€™t quite believe how it all rushed up at us so quickly, even though we were now living with many of the signs, before Hardy made it clear to us that this was the moment he needed to say his farewells; before starting his next journey. Even though we weren't all at home, WhatsApp enabled both children to share their love and instruct last cuddles, kisses, strokes and goodbyes before James reassuringly and painlessly, carefully & calmly helped him on his way. We were his family, all in the room, all at home, for our Hardy's moment & final farewell and for that we will all be eternally grateful. Thank you James & Suzy for all the care, compassion and help with all that could be done from start to finish, and your kind words. The Noel Family xx
