Lovely, caring, efficient vetinary practice to visit. From initial phone call to successful treatment, we were very happy with all services. The receptionist is very helpful and Asher the vet, treated our house rabbit with care and professionalism. I'm glad to say bun made a full recovery. The charges were reasonable. Follow up advice, on the phone, was reassuring also.

We absolutely are blown away by the fantastic staff and overall service provided by Pet Practice in Poole. Our highly anxious GSD literally hates vets, yet Anna K and Ben and all the Veterinary Nurses have been able to calm him down and make him feel safe. He had to have surgery for the first time this year and he was not traumatised. It is amazing. Thank you all at Pet Practice.

We have been using the Pet Practice for a number of years and even after we moved out of the area, have remained with them as they are excellent and prioritise the welfare of your pets. Aside for 1 locum who was horrendous and a very young vet who was ridiculously over cautious with our very young docile dog, we have only got positive things to say and praise for the staff that we deal with frequently. Asia the Vet within the Oakdale Poole practice and Stacey the receptionist both of whom, always make us feel so welcome. Asia is incredible with our four legged family who the staff know are our life. We have 5 dogs at present (Barnaby, Bonnie, Storm , Willow and Beau) .. and we lost our beautiful little ShitZu Bella a few months back and as stated previously, the compassion from the veterinary staff was amazing. Thank you personally from our family for taking care of our pack and being a truly wonderful and amazing practice.

We have always been very happy with the care given to our cats by Selena, Emily and now Duncan and all the nurses and staff. However, the care has been exceptional at times.. including operations for Basil by Emily and Selena. Most recently we had to make the difficult decision to let Rosie be put to sleep at Wareham… Duncan could not have been kinder, patiently and professionally explaining, thereby helping us to make an informed & right choice. Collecting her ashes was hard and again the team could not have been more sensitive or kind. Thank you Lynwood vets. Penny & Michael

Whilst on holiday my two dogs managed to sneak two pain au raisins from my daughter’s bag! The practice at Wareham agreed to see them immediately and the vet, nurses and receptionist were exceptional. All extremely friendly, helpful and lovely with both my dogs. (They even found a band to tie back my bassets ears whilst she vomited)! Really impressed with this veterinary surgery and many thanks once again for all your help. Ps the dogs both managed lunch on the beach and the trip back to London in good spirits despite this start to the day.

Lynwood Vets in Wareham is an exceptional veterinary practice. Debbie at reception is amazing. She's always so helpful, patient with immense kindness and understanding. She goes way & beyond to he helpful in every way. All the vets there have ALWAYS taken great care to treat & look my pet. Duncan who has treated my pet is just phenomenal. He has always treated my pet with kindness & really cares about her welfare. Everytime we see him, he does everything to make sure that my pet is well. He goes out of his way & tries to do all that he can to make sure she has the utmost treatment & care. I hope he never retires as he is the BEST vet I've ever seen.

On holiday in Dorset and our elderly dog collapsed, I really thought it was the end. First class care from your wareham surgery, even came out into the road to guide us to the surgery. Excellent caring staff, who helped us straight away. I can’t thank you enough , dedicated caring staff. Thank you

She has had a number of major problems; diagnosed and dealt with expertly and explained meticulously. Our consultations were never hurries, no matter how busy he happened to be. Katie has helped with Fly's physiotherapy and advice with how to manage her back problem, for which I am extremely grateful.

Really pleased with Frieda and I's experience here. Vet was amazing. Loved the conversation and mass of information he clearly had to give about how best to help my nans tortoise. Very calm environment for people and pets - having people waiting outside the building was preferable. Parking was easy and the place was quite easy to find too

My conure Rio had an accident over the weekend and broke his leg I called and was told to come in immediately and with the fantastic care and expertise of the Vets they managed to save the leg and splint it and after 24hrs of great care they have released him back home to me. Thanks you to all the team at Piddle Valley Vets for everything you have done for Rio 👍🏻

Simply the best vet I have ever encountered. We travel 25 miles as have African Pygmy Hedgehogs as not many specialists around. David has performed numerous operations that defy belief and the knowledge and care provided is second to none. We are very grateful for all their efforts

My gorgeous baby Luna had BOAS surgery and she was spayed in the same day; Dr Diogo it’s a brilliant vet! He and the team took care of her soo well! Caroline gave me all the support and she made sure Luna received all the attention there! On the 3rd day Luna was back to normal despite she had all these procedures done in few hours! Recently took my cat here after a referral from my vet. My cat looked ok and was eating and my vet picked up an irregular heartbeat.The day I took him I was not expecting to be told he either needs putting to sleep that day or a procedure to help him as it was worse than we thought. We chose the procedure. Alice the Specialist was lovely and talked me through everything throughout the whole process and other members of staff I saw were also friendly and helpful. I now have my precious boy back thanks to Alice and her team so can't thank them enough for giving me more time with my little boy.

I can’t thank you guys enough for what you did for our Minnie and for Tobi and his team Minnie had to have heart surgery as she had a heart murmur at grade 6 and with her being such a tiny puppy we thout we were going to lose her but luckily the surgery worked and she now a normal puppy these guys really were amazing thankyou for all did for us and Minnie

A very clean and professional environment. The first points of contact, the receptionists were very polite and efficient. When we met Alba (surgeon) and her assistant, I was super impressed by how polite and thorough they were. I feel more than reassured that she will carry out the surgery on my hound to a high standard. I will report back after this is done shortly. The practice has plenty of parking, along with a number of disabled bays. The appearance of the practice is maintained to a high standard. Oh, and I nearly forgot there is a free tea and coffee bar with biscuits available 😋

We were 300 miles from home and pooch had a problem. Called this surgery and they got us in within a couple of hours, found the issue and treated with care. Thank you to all the staff at the practice, it meant a lot to know he was in safe hands, very professional, very polite, very understanding...excellent practice.

They say it's 1 of the hardest decisions you make, and they are totally right, but with a heavy heart I made the call. From 1st phone call I was reassured and made to feel calm by James. He listened to Patch's life story and reassure me it was the best thing for him. As for the dreaded day I can not express how peacefull James made it, was able to hold patch as he drifted off snoring away in his own bed. Wasn't intrusive and wasn't rushed just very peaceful. The aftercare was outstanding. Patch wasn't a pet he was a family member, and we couldn't of wished for a better sending off.

At nearly 15 years old we had to make the very hard decision to say goodbye to our gorgeous Black Labrador Charlie. Rather than taking Charlie to the vets we decided to have him put to sleep at our home. We did our research & found Fond Farewell Vets. James was superb, handling everything from start to finish sympathetically to us and with dignity & care for Charlie. For such a very sad occasion we both felt it could not of been handled better. James took care of every detail & our lovely boy had his last tasty treats on his quilt out in the garden. We will miss him everyday but we both know he had the best ending to a full & fun life. Thank you to James for helping us with making the right decision & for taking such good care of us and Charlie in his final hours. Chris & Chris

A huge thank you to James & Suzy for their help, understanding and consideration during an increasingly inevitable, but surprisingly unexpected and painful time of saying farewell to our treasured & well loved 15 year old Hardy. I still can’t quite believe how it all rushed up at us so quickly, even though we were now living with many of the signs, before Hardy made it clear to us that this was the moment he needed to say his farewells; before starting his next journey. Even though we weren't all at home, WhatsApp enabled both children to share their love and instruct last cuddles, kisses, strokes and goodbyes before James reassuringly and painlessly, carefully & calmly helped him on his way. We were his family, all in the room, all at home, for our Hardy's moment & final farewell and for that we will all be eternally grateful. Thank you James & Suzy for all the care, compassion and help with all that could be done from start to finish, and your kind words. The Noel Family xx

It’s almost been 2 weeks now since James visited our family home to help our dog Buster who had become suddenly very unwell. A close to 14 year old collie entwined in our lives, each day we learn to live without him here. We can not thank you enough for your support during this heart breaking time for our family. As a family, we recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our beloved 19 year old cat, Gump. We wanted him to be at home as he’d always been such a home boy and we couldn’t bear the thought of him not being on his beloved sofa for his final sleep. We found Fond Farewell after a quick Google search and Suzy was very thoughtful and understanding when I spoke with her on the phone. James called back a little while later to confirm a few details and discuss when we’d like him to visit. As we have 2 secondary school aged daughters we asked for a later visit as we wanted to bring them home first to spend some time with Gump before James visited us, he was very accommodating regarding this. James arrived and took plenty of time to explain, firstly to my husband and myself what would happen, and then our daughters joined us before he began with the process. James was incredibly calm, professional and thoughtful when it came to dealing with not only 2 adults, but 2 heartbroken teenage girls. He never once rushed us and also went to another room whilst we said goodbye one last time as a family, before returning for the final injections. Our beautiful boy, passed away peacefully surrounded by the people who had loved him for 19 years, at home in his favourite spot and we are incredibly grateful that we could do this for him. Thank you Fond Farewell for undertaking, what cannot be an easy task, in such a thoughtful, considerate and kind manner. We will be forever thankful that on such a sad day you were able to make it just that bit easier on us all.

Damory vets are truly amazing. They are so helpful and friendly. They are very understanding when I tell them I don't drive so will need a weekend appointment. They are very patient with all the questions and don't make you feel like you have to rush. They are so good with my cats and very gentle. They have a separate waiting room for cats and dogs and provide blankets to cover your cat carriers so your cats are less stress when waiting. I would recommend them every time.

My cats Merlin and Gus had their injections here at Damory, Blandford and the team are just so lovely. The waiting room was clean and I love that they offered towels sprayed with Feliway. There’s also a place off the ground to place your cat carrier to give that extra comfort for your cat. I’ve also signed up for the monthly pet plan. They’ve assured me that they will send text reminders for worm/flea/yearly vaccination too which is great! 🐱

I needed an emergency appointment on bank holiday for my cat and this was the only one place open for emergency in my area. Helped my cat who struggled with passing urine. The vet was very helpful and caring. Definitely recommend this place.

The Gallops are an amazing facility for dogs, my dogs are dog aggressive, I get to run them off the lead in a save fenced in environment with lots for them to do. The staff are amazing and very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Definitely worth a visit!!

We had to say goodnight to our gorgeous girl Mimi last month, after 14yrs together. Medivet Dorchester was our 24hr emergency practice and saw Mimi within the hour Rita the duty vet was so compassionate. Rita tried her hardest to help Mimi and made sure we were fully informed of all possibilities. We unfortunately had to make the hard decision to say goodnight. Rita and the staff allowed us to spend the time to say our good nights before she left us and to stay during and after her leaving us. We cannot thank Rita and her team for all they did for us on that distressing evening. Our faith in the staff led us to leave our then practice and register our dogs with Dorchester Medivet
