Richard & his team are the best veterinary practice in Devon. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. They will always fit my animals in when I have an emergency. Out of hours appointments are offered at the practice and at home. Kind, caring & compassionate. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else.

We moved to Sidmouth 18 months ago and were looking for a vet that we could trust to take care of our elderly dog Lola. Richard and his team are amazing and our precious Lola is extremely grateful for the professionalism and attentiveness Richard has shown. I would recommend without any hesitation.

We were in Devon to attend a Memorial Dinner and our little 13 yr old rescue dog Barney was taken seriously ill. We contacted this practice in a real panic as we were away from our home in Sussex. Richard was prompt efficient professional and compassionate in our hour of need. Sadly Barney died but his last hours were made comfortable by this caring man. Thank you.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I have been taking my cats here for years. Sadly my cat Milo became poorly and required many visits and constant check ups. Oliver was more than happy to have regular phone calls to review medication and amend as necessary, nothing felt like too much trouble. Unfortunately he was unable to get better but the staff here went out of their way to do everything they could and showed professionalism and compassion at every stage. I also had appointments with Oscar and Rebecca, and felt equally impressed with their knowledge, support and advice. The receptionists Chrissie and Shelly could not be more kind and compassionate and remember who you are when you call or visit. I can't speak highly enough of the team at Haydon Vets, and wouldn't hesitate to encourage people to register here. This is a team of people that are clearly passionate and care deeply about their customers.

Everyone has been so caring, kind and understanding at Haydon vets. They are so easy to talk to and are trying everything they can to help our poorly little pouch in a way that is best for him and keeping the costs as low as possible for us as we dont have pet insurance. My beautiful little cat Lola sadly had to be put to sleep yesterday. I’m heart broken 💔. She was diagnosed with heart disease following a blood clot in November 2021. I initially saw Claire who was absolutely amazing and so caring - I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful vet at such an horrendous time. She also spoke to me on the phone regularly to see how Lola was doing. Yesterday I had to rush Lola in as she was struggling to breathe and had lost the use of her back legs - another blood clot. Although they were busy Rachael saw us very quickly which I was so grateful for. Rachael and Emily were so lovely and gave me the time and space to say goodbye to Lola. Thank you so much for everything you have all done over the past months. I feel so grateful to have such a wonderful veterinary practice - always friendly and caring xxx

Thoroughly professional and compassionate vet support. We used these vets after being referred to carry out leg operation on our 11 year old dog. Excellent service, communication and most of all care for our dog. Cannot recommend Jurassic Vets highly enough.

Wonderful vets, so kind and professional. We took our dog because she didn’t feel well and the vet in charge was so efficient and knew how to treat her from the beginning. In just a couple of hours our dog was diagnosed and under treatment. She recovered in no time! A little bit pricey, though, but it was worth.

An excellent vets in Poundbury that we bring our cat too. The vets and staff are brilliant always a smile and a greeting whenever you visit. We now know why there is a queue waiting to register their pets.

My Nelly has had a few issues and had to have an emergency op due to eating a fish hook! She was referred by Castle to a vet hospital and it was arranged very quickly. I can't fault the team at both Dorchester Road and Poundbury at all. Reasonably priced in vet terms I think and I would highly recommend.

We had to use Bredy Vet Centre in an emergency whilst on holiday is dorset for our dog Poppy. Poppy needed xrays for an injury, the vet and nurse were fantastic, very welcoming and understanding. They explained everything to us from start to finish and looked after Poppy for the day. Also the receptionists were friendly and efficient. We would highly recommend this veterinary Practice.

We had to visit Bredy Vets with our poorly cocker spanial whilst on holiday. I have to say the service we received from start to finish was fantastic. From the initial call from the reception team the nurse and Jon the vet he explained everything fully and in simple terms. Ordered in special food and went above and beyond. Wish our local vets where half as good. Would not hesitate to recommend these guys. Thanks for everything you did for us. James

Exceptional Veterinary Practice. Although I have been a client for many years, my dog Jack seldom needs care. Recently however he was suffering a gland problem.. Jack is an imported rescue and the BVA recommend a safeguarding procedure (blood test) prior to any surgery in such cases due to possible Brucellosis infection. I was uncertain of the benefits, but was able to have a practical and sensible discussion with Giles, beforehand Jack had the procedure under sedation & Giles whipped out a loose back tooth too. Jack is not insured, but I was given an estimate of cost at our initial consultation which matched our final invoice. Thank you Giles, it seems to have done the trick and Jack has forgiven you (almost!)
