I recently took my dog, Max, to Ferndown Family Vets, and I am beyond impressed with the care and attention we received. Max is usually very anxious, especially around new people and in unfamiliar environments, but the team at Ferndown Family Vets made a world of difference. When we arrived, we waited outside to help Max stay calm. The staff were incredibly understanding and accommodating, allowing us to avoid the waiting area. Shortly after, a friendly team member came out to greet Max. They approached him slowly and gently, which really helped to put him at ease. The clinic itself has a calm and soothing atmosphere, which further helped Max relax once we went inside. Aidan and the Team were fantastic. They took the time to approach Max with patience and kindness, ensuring he felt safe and secure. Their compassionate approach was evident throughout the entire visit, and they even had some treats on hand to help build Max’s confidence and trust. During the examination, Aidan explained everything in detail and made sure I understood each step of the process. Their dedication to providing a stress-free experience was truly remarkable. They also gave us some great tips on how to manage Max’s anxiety during future visits. I highly recommend Ferndown Family Vets to anyone looking for a veterinary practice that prioritizes a stress-free environment. Max and I are so grateful for the exceptional care we received. Aiden has been absolutely 💯 fabulous with my pets especially my Cavalier Barney who sadly isn't with me now due to CHF but he managed to have 2 more holidays and lots of days out!!. We cannot wait for the opening day and knowing that we have a very trusted vet 🙏 when we need him!!!!!

Aidan has treated several of my pets over the years, always with genuine care and compassion. His knowledge and expertise is outstanding, he is friendly and kind, yet professional. Aidan treated my 48kg Hovawart dog for T-Cell Lymphoma and we saw him weekly for chemotherapy. My dog was always pleased to see him, despite the needles and drugs, and greeted Aidan with wet kisses at every opportunity. My dog was a great judge of character, so that has to be the sign of a good vet! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Ferndown Family Vets. The furry members of your family will be in the safest of hands, that's for sure.

Our labradoodle, Banjo, suffered from severe anxiety making any form of treatment a challenge. Ferndown Family Vets went above and beyond for him and were very accommodating to his needs. We cannot express how grateful we are to all the staff for their patience, understanding and friendliness. We highly recommend them.

Lynwood Vets in Wareham is an exceptional veterinary practice. Debbie at reception is amazing. She's always so helpful, patient with immense kindness and understanding. She goes way & beyond to he helpful in every way. All the vets there have ALWAYS taken great care to treat & look my pet. Duncan who has treated my pet is just phenomenal. He has always treated my pet with kindness & really cares about her welfare. Everytime we see him, he does everything to make sure that my pet is well. He goes out of his way & tries to do all that he can to make sure she has the utmost treatment & care. I hope he never retires as he is the BEST vet I've ever seen.

On holiday in Dorset and our elderly dog collapsed, I really thought it was the end. First class care from your wareham surgery, even came out into the road to guide us to the surgery. Excellent caring staff, who helped us straight away. I can’t thank you enough , dedicated caring staff. Thank you

We have always been very happy with the care given to our cats by Selena, Emily and now Duncan and all the nurses and staff. However, the care has been exceptional at times.. including operations for Basil by Emily and Selena. Most recently we had to make the difficult decision to let Rosie be put to sleep at Wareham… Duncan could not have been kinder, patiently and professionally explaining, thereby helping us to make an informed & right choice. Collecting her ashes was hard and again the team could not have been more sensitive or kind. Thank you Lynwood vets. Penny & Michael

Whilst on holiday my two dogs managed to sneak two pain au raisins from my daughter’s bag! The practice at Wareham agreed to see them immediately and the vet, nurses and receptionist were exceptional. All extremely friendly, helpful and lovely with both my dogs. (They even found a band to tie back my bassets ears whilst she vomited)! Really impressed with this veterinary surgery and many thanks once again for all your help. Ps the dogs both managed lunch on the beach and the trip back to London in good spirits despite this start to the day.

Although I’ve only visited a few times with my cat, they’ve always been very friendly and helpful. Right from the reception staff through to the veterinary team, they are very caring and obviously have a love for the animals. I would definitely recommend them.

The best vets around! All members of the team have been so kind and helpful. I've called the nurses for advice and they've listened and been so informative, the vets never make us feel rushed and were so patient with us when I first brought my rescue dog to them. The receptionists are lovely too - giving me plenty of reassurance when I was worried about my dog having to go inside by himself during Covid restrictions

Unfortunately our hamster had to get put to sleep. Rian was so lovely about it and my 9 year old son received a card and some seeds to sprinkle on where Bubbles was buried. Such a thoughtful thing to do. They have also always been amazing with our dog he seems to now be bionic !!

A wonderful clinic. My golden retriever was unwell but the reasons were not obvious. Gila took a complete history and examined him thoroughly. Her manner was gentle and reassuring and my dog relaxed as if with an old friend. At this clinic you'll find a group of very special people who care about animals and make the decisions that are best for them. Thank you Gila and thank you Friars Moor. (The staff are also very kind on the phone and go out of their way to help.)

I've been a customer of Natterjacks since 2012 with my first greyhound. In the years since I've taken not only my own dogs there but many others for friends and family. The practice is well organised and well staffed with huge knowledge in the vets, nurses, and assistant. They retain the 'family' feel from the early days and their empathy for you and your pet is first class, with follow up calls for your pet's wellbeing and progress after treatment. They keep up to date with the best of the new treatments ie K-lazer and medication for the best outcomes. Will always highly recommend Natterjacks

Unfortunately we had to say our last goodbyes to our elderly pug on Monday. After a rapid decline in health over the weekend, I was offered an emergency appointment only 2 hours after I phoned. My vet was Louise. She assessed the situation and ran through all of our options in order to help our loyal companion. We had to come to the decision when we got home that the kindest option for Elsie was to let her go. There are no words that will express the gratitude that I have for Louise, for making what was the hardest day of my life so far, bearable. She made it so peaceful, so calm and managed to make it a comforting experience all whilst validating our decision and emotions. By far the best vet I have ever dealt with over the years and I will always look back on this experience and say “Thankyou Louise” and I am sure that Elsie is out there somewhere equally grateful for making her last few moments so tranquil. Thankyou. Thankyou. Thankyou.

We have been visiting Natterjacks for years with our pooch. Fortunately for us, we don't have to visit very often as our dog is strong and healthy but when we do, we always find them to be professional, kind and most of all caring. Our last visit was for annual vaccinations, our appointment was on time, our pooch was put at ease and didn't appear to realise he'd had an injection. I can't recommend Natterjacks enough, a brilliant Vets

Have used Natterjacks Vets Bournemouth for many years now. Really great vets. Staff are friendly and helpful. Took our two cats Lily and Honey recently for their yearly health check and vaccinations. All went well although Lily had a little accident in her carrier on the way there bless her. The lovely vet I think her name is Katie was so good about it and cleaned her up. She was lovely and gave them a good check over. Lily has some gum disease and Katie recommend a toothpaste for her. Honey was a bit naughty which is unusual for as normally she is brilliant at the vets. Katie was so good with her and patient. Would recommend this place although I think they are fully booked I'm not surprised as they have a good reputation.

Couldn’t recommend Natterjacks enough. Our vet is Vicki, who is the absolute best. She’s so kind & knows my dog inside out, all of his lumps and bumps etc. She reassures us & puts us at ease. Going to the vets isn’t always a pleasant experience but it is with Natterjacks. Thank you, all!

Really pleased with Frieda and I's experience here. Vet was amazing. Loved the conversation and mass of information he clearly had to give about how best to help my nans tortoise. Very calm environment for people and pets - having people waiting outside the building was preferable. Parking was easy and the place was quite easy to find too

Simply the best vet I have ever encountered. We travel 25 miles as have African Pygmy Hedgehogs as not many specialists around. David has performed numerous operations that defy belief and the knowledge and care provided is second to none. We are very grateful for all their efforts

She has had a number of major problems; diagnosed and dealt with expertly and explained meticulously. Our consultations were never hurries, no matter how busy he happened to be. Katie has helped with Fly's physiotherapy and advice with how to manage her back problem, for which I am extremely grateful.

All staff are fabulous! There receptionists are pleasant to talk to and kind. The nursing staff are second to none. The veterinary surgeons are professional, caring, very knowledgeable, gentle and sympathetic. Our cats have had more than 9 lives because of these people. Veterinary surgeon Modestas has known our cats for over 16 years. He has nurtured and loved our twin gingers and saved Sox many times with his fantastic knowledge of medication and procedures since he was 2 years old. We are so very grateful for everything he has done. We recently sadly, said goodbye to Sox. The care and respect for him and us was very touching. We can, without any hesitation recommend Kingston Vets in Yeovil.

Lovely vets. My dog has, unfortunately, needed a lot of various treatments over the last few years and I have been completely happy each and every time. Damory vets are truly amazing. They are so helpful and friendly. They are very understanding when I tell them I don't drive so will need a weekend appointment. They are very patient with all the questions and don't make you feel like you have to rush. They are so good with my cats and very gentle. They have a separate waiting room for cats and dogs and provide blankets to cover your cat carriers so your cats are less stress when waiting. I would recommend them every time.

My cats Merlin and Gus had their injections here at Damory, Blandford and the team are just so lovely. The waiting room was clean and I love that they offered towels sprayed with Feliway. There’s also a place off the ground to place your cat carrier to give that extra comfort for your cat. I’ve also signed up for the monthly pet plan. They’ve assured me that they will send text reminders for worm/flea/yearly vaccination too which is great! 🐱

Annual checkups for Roobarb and Captain Custard. They're both very cautious of new humans and the vet saw was so patient and caring; neither animal seems to have suffered and lasting trauma!

Such lovely staff. I was so scared about taking my pet in and found it all rather scary but they were just the best they helped calm me and her down. Recently took my cat here after a referral from my vet. My cat looked ok and was eating and my vet picked up an irregular heartbeat.The day I took him I was not expecting to be told he either needs putting to sleep that day or a procedure to help him as it was worse than we thought. We chose the procedure. Alice the Specialist was lovely and talked me through everything throughout the whole process and other members of staff I saw were also friendly and helpful. I now have my precious boy back thanks to Alice and her team so can't thank them enough for giving me more time with my little boy.

A very clean and professional environment. The first points of contact, the receptionists were very polite and efficient. When we met Alba (surgeon) and her assistant, I was super impressed by how polite and thorough they were. I feel more than reassured that she will carry out the surgery on my hound to a high standard. I will report back after this is done shortly. The practice has plenty of parking, along with a number of disabled bays. The appearance of the practice is maintained to a high standard. Oh, and I nearly forgot there is a free tea and coffee bar with biscuits available 😋

My gorgeous baby Luna had BOAS surgery and she was spayed in the same day; Dr Diogo it’s a brilliant vet! He and the team took care of her soo well! Caroline gave me all the support and she made sure Luna received all the attention there! On the 3rd day Luna was back to normal despite she had all these procedures done in few hours! Thank you for taking care of my baby!
