Absolutely love the tea room cafe. Debs is a lovely lady that always puts the customers first. Lovely affordable food and great atmosphere. Not to mention the lovely Tracey that is next door in the pet shop. Very friendly for dogs and their humans. We love going there and it is very affordable. We are always made to feel welcome. Also there are items for sale that are all handmade. Lovely for gifts. Highly recommend.

Stopped here after an February MTB ride, very friendly and hospitable although only just a few small tables inside. I had the Chicken Tikka Pannini with a fresh side salad, delicious, fresh coffee all made in clear view. Clean indoor toilet, and a number of outside benches for warmer days.

I came here today for the 1st time for lunch and will definitely be back. Debbie is very welcoming and the food is amazing. She was also lovely to our little dog Lila. Will be back soon.

Recommended by a friend and quite the little gem. Food was reasonably priced and the atmosphere is quaint. A nice touch of the hot drinks being served in dainty teacups with saucers. Local artists selling their products and a little antique/collectable room on site. Debs the owner is a busy lady and everything is excellent.

My pool team had a meal at Jerry's Steakhouse 2 weeks ago. It was brilliant, fantastic steak, chips, mushroom and onion rings. Very nice sauce too. The Biscoff cheesecake was probably the best pudding I've had. Honestly it was amazing! đ I definitely want to go again.
Rating: 5 / 5
Stunning. The service was perfect, the food was immense and the decor is spectacular. This is honestly one of the best restaurants I've ever been to anywhere in the world. I regularly eat burgers when at "steakhouses" and I do this very regularly, the Bourgeois Burger I had at "Jerry's" is easily in my top 5 if all time. Flavours complimented each other perfectly and it was cooked perfectly too. Can't wait to go back to this place!!
Rating: 5 / 5
It's rare to find places that are a 5 star rating across the broad, but this is certainly one such place! The food was incredible - the starter was perfect, and the steak..... easily some of the best I have ever eaten! Cooked to perfection, and everything from the sauce to the mushrooms simply complemented it so well. We visited at lunch time, so had the place alsmot to ourselves, but I am sure that the service will be utmost during busy periods - and this place it popular! So you accept that during busy times there might be a bit more of a wait. Atmosphere was great - a lovely clean, modern and upbeat restaurant, and Jerry was a pleasure to chat to as well; clearly he values his customers and the amazing business he has built up in the area. We won't hesitate to recommend this steakhouse to friends and family alike, and look forward to coming back! It's a shame Google won't remove the obviously false 1 star review from someone who cannot accept that it's the Business that controls the opening times and not what Google lists (they're not in real time love!). So for anyone looking to go here, pay attention to the reviews that truly reflect what you will experience.

An absolute must try & I will eat my hat if you don't fancy going back again soon!! đ 𤤠Seriously well worth a wee drive to come eat some very yummy food! đ Even better it is a local family grown, family owned business, so you'll be supporting an independent business and all the awesome staff who work there. â¤ď¸ This place is nestled in the cute Blandford Forum just a few steps away from the lovely Crown Hotel, very easy to find as it's on the same road just before Market Place. ⢠Parking nearby â ⢠There is seating on the ground floor and 1st floor. ⢠Toilets are upstairs on the 1st floor too (2 total). The bar and chefs kitchen are on the ground floor also, kitchen to the back just behind a curved wall which has the stairs behind it Its an old building and they've done a great job revitalising both the outside and the interior feels super premium. There's quite a few plug points with usb on them to, so decent if you have kids with devices or coming for a cheeky work meeting etc.. The food seriously good, came in good time & service was great from all the staff, including the chef and the owners mixing in with the awesome vibes. Whether you came here regularly or just passing through, you could feel like making some new friends here with the staff and owners. Also, their pizza from the takeaway a few doors down is damn good.. Got our fussy 11yr old lads approval! đ

Wonderful birthday dinner. Lamb Scrumpit, Tuna Carpaccio, Pork Belly, Dorset Crab Linguine, Tiramisu (a little heavy for my preference, but still delicious) and Cheese and crackers. Weâll be back!
Rating: 5 / 5
We stopped in while visiting from America. I would consider the White House to be an upscale pub. The ambience is great! Lots of stone and heavy wooden beams. There were lots of locals there when we were there which is always a good sign. The staff was wonderful! The food was truly excellent! Every starter and entree was done to perfection! If we lived in the area we would be here often!

What a lovely evening me and my family had last night at this lovely little pub. Thank you so much. The food was fabulous and your wine pickings for us were perfect. See you again soon.

A group of us are lunch at the white horse yesterday, the food is exquisite, there were 7 of us and every plate we were served was exceptionally presented and tasted amazing!!!! We will be back, what a memorable time. Thankyou so much. The village this pub is situated in is idyllic, like a fairy tale.

I wasnât sure what to expect as I wouldnât class myself as a particularly spiritual person but I genuinely really enjoyed it! We had such a wholesome, relaxing day, and the perfect opportunity for self-care. Claire was absolutely lovelyâshe made everyone feel so comfortable and at ease from the moment we arrived. The location was beautiful. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, saunas and I absolutely loved the gong bath! Whether youâre spiritual or not, this retreat is a fantastic way to step back from the busyness of life. Itâs perfect for special occasions like birthdays or bridal retreats. Iâd definitely go back. Highly recommend it!

Spent an amazing weekend at the Merkabah retreat. I Stayed at the farmhouse.. where the facilities were second to none! The surroundings were beautiful, the house itself is stunning, the food! Oh the food! đĽ°đ Claire has an amazing energy and presence that teaches you, cares for you and encourages you all at the same time! If you get the chance to book in for a retreat⌠you will not be disappointed!! Iâm definitely going again!

I was surprised with a bridal retreat at this most beautiful special spiritual place. Claire provided some much needed womb blessing and an incredible going bath experience in the pool. We also had wonderful reiki massages (maybe Claire can provide the details of this talented woman). We got to use the 2 saunas, swimming pool and hot tub! What a perfect bridal shower with my friends. I would love to return to this special place for more gentle healing. Thank you Claire and co!

I love The Merkabah Retreat it's my most favourite place. There is much that happens! Blissful Yoga and Gong sessions, Drumming and so much more! If you have never been to the retreat for an event it's a must. It is absolutely beautiful and stunning and Claire weaves in all her magic. It has underfloor heating and lined with crystals and on a leyline.

Great find! We popped in for a late lunch. We had the classic croque and it was delicious. A great combination of flavours with a lovely dressed side salad and home made coleslaw. A really great cup of coffee too. My sons vanilla milkshake was overflowing with cream and sauce topping! Friendly staff and swift service. Nice clean toilets too. Only slight downside if there is one was that there are a few steps up to the front door which could possibly be an issue for a few customers. Highly recommended cafĂŠ.

We had drinks, dinner and then stayed over in our motorhome and it was absolutely wonderful! The food was exceptional, the service was excellent and the pub and beer garden are great. We were made to feel very welcome and would definitely recommend!
Rating: 5 / 5
I have driven past this pub on more occasions than I could probably mention and always said must try that one. Well today was the day and so pleased that I did! I can honestly say this was one of the best (if not the best) pub food I have ever had. Our table of four all had different dishes and every single one was outstanding quality with a generous portion. Personally I opted for the ploughman's asking for it without the meat element which wasn't a problem at all. An excellent selection, fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend booking, even for lunch, as it was busy, and it's really not surprising why. The service was friendly and a good pub atmosphere made it a great experience and all at a fair price too. This will most definitely not be the last visit to this highly recommended Dorset pub. If you haven't been then add it to your 'must visit' list, but don't leave it as long as I did.
Rating: 5 / 5
The pubs staff were friendly and funny, not just robots and also not too cheeky it becomes weird. The portions were the size youd give yourself at a buffet. The price was fine. And the menu had a decent selection. I had the pie and it almost had more stake than my girlfriends ribeye. Highly recommend.

A Dorset gem. I've only ever had the Sunday Carvery here because it's fantastic value (ÂŁ14.50) and absolutely delicious. I always end up asking for a box so there is bubble and squeak to go home with! The staff are great and friendly. I'd say this is a proper pub and Sunday lunch experience! Booking very much recommended they are popular.

Visited here twice for food whilst on our stay and we were certainly not disappointed at all. As you can see from our photos from our evening meals they were delicious, they were presented well and they tasted fantastic. Well worth the money we paid and the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It's also dog friendly and our dog loved it as well. Do not miss out when visiting Stourpaine.

Absolute gem of a pub, excellent Sunday lunch which was massive. Staff were lovely and very attentive. The pub was lovely, warm, inviting and quirky. Have been before for steam up but had to re visit to try the food and so glad we did. Lovely experience and we will definitely return

Lovely traditional pub with a wide range of beer and good food. We visited on a Thursday evening and it was pretty busy. I think it is one of the only pubs in Stourpaine, but service was great and the food was lovely. I had the steak pudding and chips, which I've not had for years but it was gorgeous. My wife had ham, egg and chips, which again she said tasted delicious. The pub has a whole raft of service mens hats dotted throughout the place and has had a visit by King Charles when he was a prince. Lovely place, well worth a visit.

What a little gem of a pub!! Sadly no photos, but I can attest to the food being fabulous. I loved the creativity of the chef. Incredible scotch eggs, and his quirky Indian chocolate orange with a curry anglaise - whilst it sounds wrong on paper - was one of the best things Iâve had in yonks!!! Great local pub with cosmopolitan content. We loved it! đ

I love this pub. Friendly bar staff. I have found Locals are friendly and open to chat. The chef is amazing and always happy to accommodate people's needs and tastes. I enjoy the selection of ale which changes reg ( always have London pride on tap though) so this is my favorite pub.

I can honestly say my partner and I have just had the best roast dinner weâve ever had. Being vegetarian we donât usually bother to go out for dinner in Dorset as weâre often given bland boiled veg. The chef, Adam, and staff at the Stour Inn went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could possible want (crispy potatoes, garlic greens, cauliflower cheese, HUGE yorkshiresâŚ). Staff were so friendly and the pub has a wonderful atmosphere. Weâve already booked again for next weekend. Thank you!!

Sorry for the delay in posting, We came here at the end of May this year, the staff were very friendly and helpful they even catered for my daughter who really struggles with certain foods coming into contact with each other and has lactose intolerance, the chef was most helpful and even came out to chat with us, the food was excellent and well worth it. We are looking forward to going back hopefully on our way back from Hampshire 23rd Aug 2024. Thank you to all the team.
