“Visited Cerne brewery after spending some time in Cerne Village. Very personable & welcoming staff. The beer was excellent. The blonde beer was very clear & other beers were so flavoursome We purchased a mixed box of 12 for £30. Hubby liked Tiger tom. They often have events at the brewery and are going to the Dorchester beer festival next year. Highly recommend visiting this brewery & tasting a beer or two 🍺🍻🍺.”

“Visited Cerne Village today. I must say how friendly everyone was. The abbey is just £2.50 pp payable by card or cash into a box to help with the up keep. Fascinating history and the well area was beautiful. The Cerne Giant is fading and difficult to see. We looked at the Giant from the car park on Ducks lane. The village has some beautiful houses & make sure you visit the Cerne brewery just down the road, the beer is amazing.”

“The pubs staff were friendly and funny, not just robots and also not too cheeky it becomes weird. The portions were the size youd give yourself at a buffet. The price was fine. And the menu had a decent selection. I had the pie and it almost had more stake than my girlfriends ribeye. Highly recommend.”

“We always like to try out a new pub for a Sunday Roast and came across this little gem. Based on their menu and google ratings, we decided to book. We had their new Sunday roast sharing board (there was 3 of us) and it was amazing. The amount of meat on it is well worth the money. Perfectly cooked pork belly, beef and chicken leg. And of course being greeted by the beautiful collie who led us to the front door ☺️ We will definitely be back and will highly recommend! Great pub, very friendly and attentive staff, great food!”

“Had a lovely stay at Hunters Moon. Staff are really friendly and I loved the dogs Dubury and Dilbert. Made it feel very homely. The rooms are small and cosy, they were quite cute and private. In the morning I could get ready with my door open as the room are not overlooked. The area is stunning! beautiful old listed buildings, beautiful nature, such a pretty area. The pub has quiz nights, live music and a great atmosphere. Breakfast was very good. Thank you :-)”

“We found The Sun Inn on google maps last minute, are plans had changed. What a find, lovely welcome and a very nice carvery , roast beef or turkey loads of veg all hot and fresh. I recommend booking in advance as it was very busy, they squeezed us in on a barrel table, not suitable for everyone, we didn’t mind they asked us first.”
