“We stopped to get some breakfast on our travels. Even though we were 5 minutes late past breakfast time, the ladies served us breakfast with no issues. The food was amazing and worth stopping by. I would definitely recommend people to stop and have some nice lovely food”

“Lovely place to stay. Food was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The one thing that I would of appreciated (as an older lady) would of been a bath mat in a very slippy bath. Fabulous, would certainly visit again.”

“Excellent pints of Palmers IPA straight from the barrel. This is a temporary arrangement, it's usually on hand pump. I enjoyed the experience of eating an extremely good steak, mushroom & ale pie, chips, peas & gravy from a cardboard box. I would say, however, that gravy and cardboard boxes aren't necessarily a good mix. Pleasant garden.”

“We had a thoroughly enjoyable and delicious dining experience at the Clockspire Restaurant this evening. Food was excellent along with the service. The old school building has been beautifully restored and creates a delightful surrounding and atmosphere, complimenting the whole experience. This has just become my favorite restaurant. We shall return.”

“Katherine was so helpful and lovely, delicious brownies (which i dropped on the floor so had to bin them, sad times)the cider and little basket of bread butter and some fruit was sweet and the milk was so nice and fresh, and the hot tub was amazing, there were a few things that let it down.they change you £30 for clearing but im guessing thats just the hut and tub as ALL the cutlery and plates needed to be washed ,the bed spread had 2 stains on it (looked like a paw print)the quilt cover was torn in two places so that wasn't great for the money you pay (it didnt bother us much, and would possibility go back)just a little side note a tea towel would have been great as had to use a hand towel .”

“Recently visited this tudor house and gardens. The weather had not been in our favour but had stopped raining for our visit so we walked the gardens first before entering the house. A little overcast but the gardens were still beautiful for our walk round. The house is very picturess and in very good order. You can wander around at your own leisure with loads of interesting things to read and see. It was quite nice as their wernt loads of visitors at one time so you didn't feel rushed. All staff were extremely friendly and polite. The lady on reception was very polite and also we were given a warm welcome in the restaurant where we had some delightful sandwiches and perfectly made lattes. A very intresting place to stop with the added great customer service. Thankyou all.”

“We came for a roast dinner on a rainy Sunday. The service was incredible. The food was delicious. The only problem was the portion size - barely enough meat on the plate to make a sandwich let alone a Sunday roast. Otherwise all good.”
