“A delightful and well presented house and gardens. The visual and audio displays make the visit entertaining and interesting and you get drawn into the history of the house without realising. The tea room was great with good food and fast friendly service. The team throughout were professional friendly and very helpful. A great day out”

“We stopped here for dinner today and had a very warm welcome. The staff were friendly and the log fire burning made it a truly lovely place to eat and have a couple of drinks. The food was tasty and the portions were generous. We had a chicken burger, mixed grill and curry between us and they were all delicious. They were very accommodating of our two dogs too.”

“Thoroughly comfortable, well appointed suite. Huge bed, gorgeous setting with a patio and views to die for. Lashings of hot water and a proper mug of tea at breakfast, which was then followed by freshly brewed coffee and an apparently endless supply of toast!”
The Frampton Arms
Station Rd, Moreton, Dorchester DT2 8BB, UK

“Just had a two night stay here at this beautifully presented pub/b&b. Staff were friendly and helpful, always polite. Room was clean and had everything we needed. It’s on the train line which doesn’t feel intrusive. The food was really nice in the evenings (didn’t eat lunch there), we were a big group one evening and there were two small issues but they were sorted. The first morning, arrived to breakfast and it wasn’t ready and staff didn’t know why, they quickly sorted it out tho. The only downside for us was breakfast, as there is no hot option.”

“Gorgeous lunch with truly delicious food. We shared lots of the starters - standouts were the potted crab & lobster with soda bread & the cod roe's pate with focaccia slices. Then mains were all tasty but not as exciting as starters. To finish the treacle tart was one of the best I have ever tasted. The waiter was great and the gorgeous weather and view made it a perfect long lunch on Saturday. Would recommend to anyone who wants super fresh & local seafood and produce.”

Hive Beach Cafe Burton Bradstock
Beach Rd, Burton Bradstock, Bridport DT6 4RF, UK
Phone: 01308 897070
“This is a well loved beach cafe which has beautiful scenic views, it is very popular and rightly so. The menu is mainly fish and seafood dishes. However, they do a smashing full English breakfast up to 11.30 am. I will post pics. This dog friendly beach cafe has a carpark close by, but if you choose to walk along the cliff top path or the lower paths, you will walk within the most beautiful scenery. This is a totally table service venue, so once you are seated, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the view. Prices are reasonable.”
