A group of 9 went for my Dad's 70th. We pre-ordered the tasting menu and they were very accomodating with our dietary requirements. We arrived early for a drink in the very cute private garden - they were lots of options including cocktails and non-alcoholic options. We sat down to dinner and had 6 wonderful courses. Everyone loved it and we were impressed with the list of where all the ingredients were from on the back of the menu. The wine flight was very well paired matching each course spectacularly. The service was super friendly and very welcoming from the beginning, they even put a candle on the sweet dessert so we could sing happy birthday. Thank you very much for looking after us! I would definitely recommend going for a visit. Very affordable for a tasting menu and a lovely, warming homely venue.

During Lockdown Mark has continued to produce high quality cuisine often locally resourced . The food is cooked to perfection and is subtly seasoned making it a mouth watering experience to be remembered.

I recently dined at La Fosse in Cranbourne and had a very positive experience. The taster menu, complemented by a selection of wines, was both tasty and well-prepared. The food quality was impressive and the prices were very reasonable, offering good value for money. A recommended spot for a pleasant meal in Cranborne!

Had the pleasure of enjoying our first, and not last, experience of dining at La Fosse. Fantastic food that was cooked perfectly and professionally presented. Added to this, a most considerate and attentive waitress/manager made it a very special way to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Thank you chef !! We look forward to seeing you both again in the near future and wish you continued success 👍

Just stayed and had the taster menu for two with wine flights. Host and family are so welcoming and happy to share tips for the village. Suggest a shower tray mat in shower and bathroom for safety and hand towel and perhaps biscuits with tea tray , but otherwise the rooms are great, comfortable, great coffee maker, cosy, and we had a great night's sleep. The rooms and venue have lots of lovely, quirky and enjoyable extras. Food for the evening meal was brilliant and different. Don't hesitate to visit and stay. More 5 star plus than 5 star 😃 We'll be back! Thanks ALL.

WOW!!!! Highly recommend, food was incredible, portion sizes were very generous and taste was fantastic. The staff could not do enough for you, particularly loved sitting at the bar for “Happy Hour” whilst James mixed amazing cocktails. We stayed in bedroom 4 which overlooked the garden, loved laying in the bath with the view out onto the beautiful surroundings, the bedroom was very comfortable!! Will definitely be back soon ❤️

My husband and I recently held our wedding day here at the end of May, and we are absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out. Julie and Chris were incredibly kind and supportive all through the planning and the day, it felt as though they were just part of the family by the end of it. Julie's enthusiasm and can do attitude is so uplifting and refreshing. Chris made us feel as if nothing was a problem, making everyone feel at ease. Claire who made us deliscious breakfasts was also incredibly helpful and lovely to be around. The staff who helped throughout the day were fantastic, we could not ask for more. Everyone who stayed at the venue loved their rooms and the beauty of the venue itself. The gardener did a fabulous job for our special day. We highly recommend using 10 Castle St for building happy and fun memories. We are so glad we chose them!

We had a lovely evening, hosted by the lovely Laura. This was my first visit to 10 Castle Street since June last year and my have things improved. The food was great and a fun sharing menu, not something we were used to but everything we ordered was super tasty and we enjoyed mixing and matching the dishes. Best of which was the Monkfish, yum.

Really excellent Sunday evening supper! It was very quiet, as expected during the first week of January, but the service and food were top rate. It's a beautiful building and we were made to feel very relaxed and comfortable. Finishing off our meal with desserts in front of the open fire was also a lovely touch. We'll certainly be back soon.

Visited on a Sunday lunchtime after a long dog walk and really pleased we did. The landlady was lovely and brilliant with my (very talkative!) 11yo son. The decor in the pub was great with nice background music and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed the food. The fish finger ciabatta was huge (in the picture my daughter had already removed all of the salad!), pie and chips really tasty, chicken flatbread and house sauce very nice, and my son said his ham, egg and chips was great. All in all a brilliant pub run by lovely people and we'd be very keen to visit again in the future.

Best pub in Dorset! The owners are so kind and welcoming, the atmosphere is cozy and clean, and the food (especially the sticky toffee pudding) and drinks are the best! You absolutely need to stop in if you’re in cranborne.

Booked a large table for 16 people and couldn't fault the experience. Easy to pre order the food for everyone, lovely long table set up for us and the food was served in good time! The service was impecable and the food was lovely. Proper hearty food, good choice of beers on tap and a nice atmosphere! Highly recommend if you want to visit a proper pub.

We stayed for Valentine’s dinner and bed and breakfast on Saturday 11th February. The menu was exciting and special and the food absolutely delicious. Both the salmon and steak melted in the mouth, just perfect. We loved the dessert of three puddings to share. We were completely stuffed, but very pleasantly! Our room was large and comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was extremely good. It was a real treat. We shall definitely go again. The staff were willing and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We can thoroughly recommend the Fleur de Lys Inn.

Awesome lunch, good choice on the menu, seated in the bar with excellent table service 🙂. Exemplary choice of real ales and popular lager types. Lovely atmosphere for a weekday lunchtime. Plenty of space inside and outside at the two tabled areas. Thanks to the staff who made our visit very enjoyable and well worth returning in the future.
