“Really nice experience. The decor inside was very appealing and comfortable. Went for the 3 course set menu and the food was very well presented and had a lot of flavour. Waiters/waitresses polite and attentive. Will recommend to friends/family.”

Oh my! ♥ What a magical experience visiting The Clockspire was. Where do I begin to describe the care and detail oozing from both the staff and the food, it truly is clear to see, even the toilet hand towels were folded beautifully! We decided to opt for an expensive treat due to a special birthday, but the restaurant also offers a very affordable day menu, so I would recommend for both a stunning meal out and for celebrating occasions.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable and delicious dining experience at the Clockspire Restaurant this evening. Food was excellent along with the service. The old school building has been beautifully restored and creates a delightful surrounding and atmosphere, complimenting the whole experience. This has just become my favorite restaurant. We shall return.

“Stayed at Brewery Farm for a couple of nights. It is a small site for caravans/campers. Perfect for adults that would like a bit of tranquility in a peaceful location. We arrived and simply chose a spot that was free after reading a notice on the door to do so. The location is clean and well kept. The wash area is also kept very clean. There were 4 toilets/shower wash rooms which were spotless and warm. Each room was provided with a mio and bucket to mop out after use, easily done so no issues. A lady would also give them a good clean on a daily basis. The washing up area consists of 1 long sunk with 4 sets of taps and bowls. The hard standings were good but I think the soft grassed pitches could be prone to water log in the wet season. All in all a great campsite. Near to lovely walks too.”

“The pubs staff were friendly and funny, not just robots and also not too cheeky it becomes weird. The portions were the size youd give yourself at a buffet. The price was fine. And the menu had a decent selection. I had the pie and it almost had more stake than my girlfriends ribeye. Highly recommend.”

“Recently visited this tudor house and gardens. The weather had not been in our favour but had stopped raining for our visit so we walked the gardens first before entering the house. A little overcast but the gardens were still beautiful for our walk round. The house is very picturess and in very good order. You can wander around at your own leisure with loads of interesting things to read and see. It was quite nice as their wernt loads of visitors at one time so you didn't feel rushed. All staff were extremely friendly and polite. The lady on reception was very polite and also we were given a warm welcome in the restaurant where we had some delightful sandwiches and perfectly made lattes. A very intresting place to stop with the added great customer service. Thankyou all.”

“This was a very good place for a family celebration lunch for 12, including 3 children. My parsnip was inedible, but the roast beef was delicious. Our 3 vegetarians said their squash wellington was delicious. Leanne and Ben were very helpful in accommodating us. It is the fourth time I have had lunch at the pub and it has always been good.”
