Great service, called up and arranged to come the next day. A quick hinge adjustment and our door is locking and unlocking smoother than ever! Tim is brilliant, swift to respond and very professional. He fitted a Simpled UK’ Smart lock’ for me and was kind enough to offer advice about the pros and cons of the different brands before I chose that lock. Tim was very quick to fit it , dealing with a couple of curved balls during the fitting. He even helped me set the app up on my phone and showed me the different functions. Thoroughly nice gentleman. Made me feel safe and secure.

My daughter was stuck at college with my car which had a flat battery. Our key fob had no manual key in so breakdown were called to tow her back to local garage. I was recommended to try Dan and I’m so glad I was as he managed to make a key to get in then proceeded to jump start the car. So very grateful for all his help and would definitely recommend him. His number is now stored in my phone incase we are in that situation again.

Adam is fantastic. Wish I could give 6 stars. It was lashing down with rain, dark and an incredibly tricky - must have been the job from hell but he got it done, was friendly throughout and was reasonably priced. He came out when no other locksmith I tried would (and I tried several) I hope I never need a locksmith again, but if I do - he’s the man I’m going to call. I called Dave to get 2 new keys and remotes made for my fiat 500, imagining he might be able to help me within a day or 2 with a bit of luck. But far better than that he offered to drive over to me immediately and arrived within an hour of my call. He also had to break into my car as I'd lost my only remote and it literally took him 15 minutes from start to finish to complete the whole job. I found him to be very friendly, professional and efficient and i seriously can't recommend him highly enough.

If I could give Dave 10 stars I would!!! My car key completely broke and my car was stranded at work. My key was an absolutely pain to program, and Dave worked tirelessly for hours to get my key working and engine turned on again. I can’t thank him enough for his hard work. The service we received from Kevin during a power outage was outstanding! Kevin had to get us back into our garage (keys in the lock on the inside of the pedestrian door - doh! - and no power to the up and over garage door). This was a really tricky and urgent job so that our electrician could access our mains supply and restore the power to our house and garage. Kevin's skill and perseverance meant that the electrician was in very quickly and we had new locks immediately with no damage to either door - superb!

I'm so glad I used this company to install locks in my new house. Sam assessed my house so he could order the correct size locks and he was very polite and informative when explaining the difference between 1, 2 and 3 star locks. I chose the 3 star locks as I wanted to make sure my insurance company couldn't refuse a claim if someone ever broke in. A few days later Lee visited and installed the locks. Lee was also amazing! He was super nice and installed the locks quickly. He even adjusted the hinges on a set of double doors that rubbed together when they closed. I could see that the locks Lee installed were much thicker and higher quality than the originals and the new keys were also a lot thicker. All of the locks work so much more smoothly than the originals. They turn very easily and there's no movement on any of the doors if you jostle the doorknobs when the doors are closed and locked. It's also so much easier to luck and unlock the new cylinders. And the adjustment of the double doors is incredible - I no longer have to lift the door to lock it :-) If I had purchased some cheap locks from a hardware shop they would have been cheaper, but they would never have worked as smoothly (or been as secure) as the '3 star' locks I purchased from Wessex Locksmiths. And these locks will last the entire time I own the house. Highly recommended.

Super friendly, realistic pricing. What's not to like. I needed a second key for my motorhome. Fiat wanted in excess of £300. Martin wanted £60. This is for a key with a chip embedded in it and is not something all key cutting places can do. Well Wessex can do it because it is not just a key cutting place though that is certainly on the menu. No, this is a proper locksmiths, the like of which are few and far between. If you are in this part of the world and need keys cut, door locks, safes etc etc. This is where you should head. So grateful to Martin.

Left my key with them, and, Having heard nothing for 4 days, returned to the centre, to be told that no one had looked at it yet. It was still on the desk where he had put it when I gave it to him. To be fair, he came back to me later that day, and the issues were resolved within 24 hours. Poor start, got better. Left another key with him to be fixed over the weekend. Good price. I agree that you responded quickly, and I was just as quick to edit the original review. Best Regards.
