My daughter was stuck at college with my car which had a flat battery. Our key fob had no manual key in so breakdown were called to tow her back to local garage. I was recommended to try Dan and I’m so glad I was as he managed to make a key to get in then proceeded to jump start the car. So very grateful for all his help and would definitely recommend him. His number is now stored in my phone incase we are in that situation again.

Amazing guy! Can't thank Dan enough. Came out to me after I stupidly auto locked my keys in the back of my van when on a job away from home and unable to get my spare. Won't disclose any trade secrets but managed to get to my keys and unlock the van without causing any damage whatsoever. Pleasantly surprised by the cost too, was expecting to pay a lot more. Tim is brilliant, swift to respond and very professional. He fitted a Simpled UK’ Smart lock’ for me and was kind enough to offer advice about the pros and cons of the different brands before I chose that lock. Tim was very quick to fit it , dealing with a couple of curved balls during the fitting. He even helped me set the app up on my phone and showed me the different functions. Thoroughly nice gentleman. Made me feel safe and secure.

I managed to lose the keys to my old 1993 volvo. Another locksmith company didn't want to deal with it because of the age. Really can’t recommend Croma enough. Had truly exceptional service from the Albert Road branch. Very experienced staff took time to work through with me patiently the issue and how to resolve it. There was no upselling just clear, friendly, competent advice that ended in a solution provided by an engineer Tom who on time, polite and efficient. If you are Portsmouth based and have an issue with securing your property try Croma before wasting time and money elsewhere.

If I could give Dave 10 stars I would!!! My car key completely broke and my car was stranded at work. My key was an absolutely pain to program, and Dave worked tirelessly for hours to get my key working and engine turned on again. I can’t thank him enough for his hard work. I called Dave to get 2 new keys and remotes made for my fiat 500, imagining he might be able to help me within a day or 2 with a bit of luck. But far better than that he offered to drive over to me immediately and arrived within an hour of my call. He also had to break into my car as I'd lost my only remote and it literally took him 15 minutes from start to finish to complete the whole job. I found him to be very friendly, professional and efficient and i seriously can't recommend him highly enough.

I had a VW Transporter with an ignition barrel that needed replacing to allow me to start the van. Dave was top notch, great communication, turned up, debugged, sourced a used part, came back 3 days later and replaced the part in less than an hour. probably saved me a grand if I had gone to VW. I was referred to Key Tech by another locksmith company that wasn't able to help. Dean was very swift in getting back to me and I was booked in within minutes. Lee was able to cut and code my spare key for my Smart ForTwo 451 and he was very patient with the tight space he had to work with. No trouble at all for him. He explained and showed me the process on his equipment and did a full run through using both keys to show all functions working perfectly. Ideal aswell as very local to me and they could either come to you or I could go there. I opted for the latter. Called out on a Saturday. There locksmith came in good time. Ended up having the handle and lock changed. But this was due to my choice as I didn't have time for parts to be ordered and needed it done there and then. Don't know if the price was high or low tbh. Never had this done before but it wasn't much different to what I had expected. The guy that turned up was friendly and chatty. And was very patient with my nan who has dementia.

I called this morning and they sent someone out within 30 mins. I was warned that my car may have extra security systems which would mean I couldn’t get a replacement key from them and this happened to be the case. I wasn’t charged a call out fee which I was grateful for. He said he was going to try and find out some more info and would call me back, which he did a couple of hours later. He was a wealth of knowledge and information on the subject and nothing was too much trouble for him. I would say he went above and beyond.
