Noel was incredible. My elderly parents live 100 miles from me and I needed to find a vehicle locksmith in their area as my parents had lost their only car key and arrange the whole thing from my end; initially a worrying task. Noel handled the whole thing, happy to communicate via text and chat on the phone to arrange everything. He visited their house, rang me with a couple of options to solve the problem and most importantly was flexible when they found their one key to change the plan and use that to create a copy so they had two. He kindly sent me a copy of the key code and a phot of the new keys. I am very grateful Noel. It’s worrying when one lives a distance from family and needs to rely on others but you made the concern disappear with your flexible approach. Thank you, Simon.

Came out on Christmas Eve after I made a hash of switching key fobs. Friendly and very efficient, glad I went with Vehicle Locksmith Solutions and hopefully never need to use them again but will if the situation arises again. 10/10.

I cannot thank Noel enough for coming out yesterday evening to a part of Dorset he was not familiar with, to find my locked car in an out-of-the way and hard to find dark location. I was blocking my friends car in her drive, and we both needed to be somewhere else soon. Noel arrived quicker than expected, and sorted it all in less than ten minutes. I managed to lose the keys to my old 1993 volvo. Another locksmith company didn't want to deal with it because of the age. I rang Martin at ASL late Monday eve, by Monday monday afternoon he had visited, helped me get into the car and had 3 new keys cut. Perfect, friendly service at a surprisingly low price.

The service we received from Kevin during a power outage was outstanding! Kevin had to get us back into our garage (keys in the lock on the inside of the pedestrian door - doh! - and no power to the up and over garage door). This was a really tricky and urgent job so that our electrician could access our mains supply and restore the power to our house and garage. Kevin's skill and perseverance meant that the electrician was in very quickly and we had new locks immediately with no damage to either door - superb!

Outstanding service and highly recommended. We had just arrived at our campsite and I managed to break the locker key in the lock whilst unpacking. Arrived 15 minutes after calling and managed to free the lock and cut us a new key. Couldn’t be happier with the service!

Our Estate Agents recommended us to this place as we had a very specialist key we wanted cutting. It turns out these people are one of the only places in the UK. Expecting the price to be hiked for this reason I was surprised at the cost being so reasonable. The man behind the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable. He arranged the key to be cut, and they were picked up the following morning. (Being a specialist key, they weren't cut while I waited.) Will definitely use this place in the future for all types of key. If you can't find a place that does your key, try these people and you'll be sure to get what you want.

My local locksmith was unable to fix a safe lock, but recommended Brian Morland. I called Brian, and he said send it in and he will have a look. I posted it with the key, the next day I received an email quote, very reasonable. I gave the go ahead, and today, just 4 days later I received the lock and key back. I re-installed into my safe and all perfect again. Brian is a good old fashioned expert and I cant recommend more highly. Thank you very much.

I ordered a key from here as it was not found anywhere else so I assume it was a specialist key. The price was a little steeper than i was expecting but still reasonable. It did arrive quickly and the product is high quality so the price was justified. EDIT: After posting this review, to which i originally complained about a very high shipping cost (£8 for one key), i was contacted by the company to explain the why the price was high. I was told that due to the key i ordered being a security key they are obliged to send it by a certain courier service in order to produce the keys, which makes sense as the wrong key in the wrong hands can be deadly. They contacted me in less then a day after posting my review which is fantastic customer service and shows that their absolutely care about their customers and their reputation, so they do indeed deserve the full 5 stars I can give!

What an absolute gem of a business. Couldn't get into our safe and it was urgent as travelling, Chubb safe/Insafe wanted to charge a £1200 callout fee and a couldn't attend for a week. Spoke to Colin Thompson & Sons who told me a simple solution and it was fixed within minutes, no charge or callout required. They were absolutely amazing, friendly and went above and beyond. They saved me £1200 and didn't ask for a penny in return. What a champion of a business!

If I could give Dave 10 stars I would!!! My car key completely broke and my car was stranded at work. My key was an absolutely pain to program, and Dave worked tirelessly for hours to get my key working and engine turned on again. I can’t thank him enough for his hard work. I had a VW Transporter with an ignition barrel that needed replacing to allow me to start the van. Dave was top notch, great communication, turned up, debugged, sourced a used part, came back 3 days later and replaced the part in less than an hour. probably saved me a grand if I had gone to VW. I lost the keys to my Thule roof rack and was half expecting we'd need to break the locks. I called ASL and they asked me to pop over on the off chance they could sort it. I was dealt with quickly and they managed to pick the locks and reverse engineer a key for them. I left happy because I hadn't lost the locks or broken anything. I called this morning and they sent someone out within 30 mins. I was warned that my car may have extra security systems which would mean I couldn’t get a replacement key from them and this happened to be the case. I wasn’t charged a call out fee which I was grateful for. He said he was going to try and find out some more info and would call me back, which he did a couple of hours later. We had Dan come out to us today. He was very friendly and a true professional . He did a fantastic job on changing our 4 locks. I was referred to Key Tech by another locksmith company that wasn't able to help. Dean was very swift in getting back to me and I was booked in within minutes. Lee was able to cut and code my spare key for my Smart ForTwo 451 and he was very patient with the tight space he had to work with. No trouble at all for him. He explained and showed me the process on his equipment and did a full run through using both keys to show all functions working perfectly. Ideal aswell as very local to me and they could either come to you or I could go there. I opted for the latter. Called out on a Saturday. There locksmith came in good time. Ended up having the handle and lock changed. But this was due to my choice as I didn't have time for parts to be ordered and needed it done there and then. Don't know if the price was high or low tbh. Never had this done before but it wasn't much different to what I had expected. The guy that turned up was friendly and chatty. And was very patient with my nan who has dementia.
