We contacted Safelock Locksmiths in New Milton on 11/1/24 as our kitchen door wouldn't open / shut or lock properly . Later the same day a he came out to us at the arranged time and was able to correct the fault with the relevant replacement parts , a friendly , knowledgeable , efficient chap who we would happily recommend and use again if needed . We called Safelock Locksmith as we were not sure if he was the right person to come fix the door handles and latch, and window hinges. He came the same day to have a look and gave us a quote. He returned the next day and did the repairs. Fast, efficient, good workmanship. He treated my elderly parents with respect. I would highly recommend.

Unfortunately I managed to lock myself out of my flat the day before Christmas Eve. I contacted this company and within an hour had somebody at my front door. Unfortunately I can't remember the gentleman's name but he was friendly, professional and fully demonstrated the problem and explained the repair with a quote up front. In the end he was able to reuse most of the existing lock and did not charge for a completely new unit. The work was done quickly and I'm very happy with the cost and quality of the work. There did not seem to be any kind of premium for the evening call and I would be very happy to use again. Although hopefully won't ever need to!

Brilliant service. I needed a new key cut and coded for my car. Quote was a third of what the main dealer wanted and the service was second to none. Super friendly, realistic pricing. What's not to like. I needed a second key for my motorhome. Fiat wanted in excess of £300. Martin wanted £60. This is for a key with a chip embedded in it and is not something all key cutting places can do. Well Wessex can do it because it is not just a key cutting place though that is certainly on the menu. No, this is a proper locksmiths, the like of which are few and far between. If you are in this part of the world and need keys cut, door locks, safes etc etc. This is where you should head. So grateful to Martin.

I'm so glad I used this company to install locks in my new house. Sam assessed my house so he could order the correct size locks and he was very polite and informative when explaining the difference between 1, 2 and 3 star locks. I chose the 3 star locks as I wanted to make sure my insurance company couldn't refuse a claim if someone ever broke in. A few days later Lee visited and installed the locks. Lee was also amazing! He was super nice and installed the locks quickly. He even adjusted the hinges on a set of double doors that rubbed together when they closed. I could see that the locks Lee installed were much thicker and higher quality than the originals and the new keys were also a lot thicker. All of the locks work so much more smoothly than the originals. They turn very easily and there's no movement on any of the doors if you jostle the doorknobs when the doors are closed and locked. It's also so much easier to luck and unlock the new cylinders. And the adjustment of the double doors is incredible - I no longer have to lift the door to lock it :-) If I had purchased some cheap locks from a hardware shop they would have been cheaper, but they would never have worked as smoothly (or been as secure) as the '3 star' locks I purchased from Wessex Locksmiths. And these locks will last the entire time I own the house. Highly recommended.

I, cannot praise Dan enough. I contacted him when my son lost his one and only car key for his mini . Nobody seemed to want to help, the AA didn’t want to know even though he was covered for key loss, they said the didn’t do minis , and neither did BMW want to know. We didn’t know until contacting Dan that programming a new key for a mini . Involved taking out dashboard etc . Anyway he came out that same day and managed to unlock the car and produce a fully programmed new key . Don’t know what we would have done without him.

Left my key with them, and, Having heard nothing for 4 days, returned to the centre, to be told that no one had looked at it yet. It was still on the desk where he had put it when I gave it to him. To be fair, he came back to me later that day, and the issues were resolved within 24 hours. Poor start, got better. Left another key with him to be fixed over the weekend. Good price. I managed to lose the keys to my old 1993 volvo. Another locksmith company didn't want to deal with it because of the age. I rang Martin at ASL late Monday eve, by Monday monday afternoon he had visited, helped me get into the car and had 3 new keys cut. Perfect, friendly service at a surprisingly low price.

5 star service from Kev after our twenty year old front door was locked shut. I phoned Kev who arrived at 14:00. He gained entry without causing any damage and replaced the full mechanism. Luckily he had a spare mechanism in his van so we were all sorted and secure by 14:45. Our door will thankfully live to see a good few more years, much to my relief. Thanks Kev - great job!

I was referred to Key Tech by another locksmith company that wasn't able to help. Dean was very swift in getting back to me and I was booked in within minutes. Lee was able to cut and code my spare key for my Smart ForTwo 451 and he was very patient with the tight space he had to work with. No trouble at all for him. He explained and showed me the process on his equipment and did a full run through using both keys to show all functions working perfectly. Ideal aswell as very local to me and they could either come to you or I could go there. I opted for the latter. I called this morning and they sent someone out within 30 mins. I was warned that my car may have extra security systems which would mean I couldn’t get a replacement key from them and this happened to be the case. I wasn’t charged a call out fee which I was grateful for. He said he was going to try and find out some more info and would call me back, which he did a couple of hours later.
