Brilliant service. I needed a new key cut and coded for my car. Quote was a third of what the main dealer wanted and the service was second to none. I like the fact that my new key is actually better than the original. I would highly recommend this business for all your lock and security needs. Well stocked shop as well. Super friendly, realistic pricing. What's not to like. I needed a second key for my motorhome. Fiat wanted in excess of £300. Martin wanted £60. This is for a key with a chip embedded in it and is not something all key cutting places can do. Well Wessex can do it because it is not just a key cutting place though that is certainly on the menu. No, this is a proper locksmiths, the like of which are few and far between. If you are in this part of the world and need keys cut, door locks, safes etc etc. This is where you should head. So grateful to Martin.

I, cannot praise Dan enough. I contacted him when my son lost his one and only car key for his mini . Nobody seemed to want to help, the AA didn’t want to know even though he was covered for key loss, they said the didn’t do minis , and neither did BMW want to know. We didn’t know until contacting Dan that programming a new key for a mini . Involved taking out dashboard etc . Anyway he came out that same day and managed to unlock the car and produce a fully programmed new key . Don’t know what we would have done without him.

This is the third occasion over five years that we have sought David's help with a lock problem - in this case a lost set of keys to our outbuilding. David came within the hour on late Friday afternoon to gain access to the outbuilding for us, and then two days later replaced the flimsy and non compliant lock with a more modern British Standard one. As always he was very calm, helpful and efficient and is highly recommended by us.

Left my key with them, and, Having heard nothing for 4 days, returned to the centre, to be told that no one had looked at it yet. It was still on the desk where he had put it when I gave it to him. To be fair, he came back to me later that day, and the issues were resolved within 24 hours. Poor start, got better. Left another key with him to be fixed over the weekend. Good price. We called Safelock Locksmith as we were not sure if he was the right person to come fix the door handles and latch, and window hinges. He came the same day to have a look and gave us a quote. Unfortunately I managed to lock myself out of my flat the day before Christmas Eve. I contacted this company and within an hour had somebody at my front door. Unfortunately I can't remember the gentleman's name but he was friendly, professional and fully demonstrated the problem and explained the repair with a quote up front. In the end he was able to reuse most of the existing lock and did not charge for a completely new unit. The work was done quickly and I'm very happy with the cost and quality of the work. There did not seem to be any kind of premium for the evening call and I would be very happy to use again. Although hopefully won't ever need to!

5 star service from Kev after our twenty year old front door was locked shut. I phoned Kev who arrived at 14:00. He gained entry without causing any damage and replaced the full mechanism. Luckily he had a spare mechanism in his van so we were all sorted and secure by 14:45. Our door will thankfully live to see a good few more years, much to my relief. Thanks Kev - great job!

I was referred to Key Tech by another locksmith company that wasn't able to help. Dean was very swift in getting back to me and I was booked in within minutes. Lee was able to cut and code my spare key for my Smart ForTwo 451 and he was very patient with the tight space he had to work with. No trouble at all for him. He explained and showed me the process on his equipment and did a full run through using both keys to show all functions working perfectly. Ideal aswell as very local to me and they could either come to you or I could go there. I opted for the latter. I called this morning and they sent someone out within 30 mins. I was warned that my car may have extra security systems which would mean I couldn’t get a replacement key from them and this happened to be the case. I wasn’t charged a call out fee which I was grateful for. He said he was going to try and find out some more info and would call me back, which he did a couple of hours later. We had Dan come out to us today. He was very friendly and a true professional . He did a fantastic job on changing our 4 locks.
