We contacted Safelock Locksmiths in New Milton on 11/1/24 as our kitchen door wouldn't open / shut or lock properly . Later the same day a he came out to us at the arranged time and was able to correct the fault with the relevant replacement parts , a friendly , knowledgeable , efficient chap who we would happily recommend and use again if needed . We called Safelock Locksmith as we were not sure if he was the right person to come fix the door handles and latch, and window hinges. He came the same day to have a look and gave us a quote. He returned the next day and did the repairs. Fast, efficient, good workmanship. He treated my elderly parents with respect. I would highly recommend.

Tim is brilliant, swift to respond and very professional. He fitted a Simpled UK’ Smart lock’ for me and was kind enough to offer advice about the pros and cons of the different brands before I chose that lock. Tim was very quick to fit it , dealing with a couple of curved balls during the fitting. He even helped me set the app up on my phone and showed me the different functions. Thoroughly nice gentleman. Made me feel safe and secure.

Great service, called up and arranged to come the next day. A quick hinge adjustment and our door is locking and unlocking smoother than ever! Supplied a complete replacement kit for a bathroom lock which was about 25 years old at a very reasonable cost They also supplied spare key fobs for a Ford and Audi cars Price was much much less than the dealers quoted. Quick service and professional locksmiths Thank you

I'm so glad I used this company to install locks in my new house. Sam assessed my house so he could order the correct size locks and he was very polite and informative when explaining the difference between 1, 2 and 3 star locks. I chose the 3 star locks as I wanted to make sure my insurance company couldn't refuse a claim if someone ever broke in. A few days later Lee visited and installed the locks. Lee was also amazing! He was super nice and installed the locks quickly. He even adjusted the hinges on a set of double doors that rubbed together when they closed. I could see that the locks Lee installed were much thicker and higher quality than the originals and the new keys were also a lot thicker. All of the locks work so much more smoothly than the originals. They turn very easily and there's no movement on any of the doors if you jostle the doorknobs when the doors are closed and locked. It's also so much easier to luck and unlock the new cylinders. And the adjustment of the double doors is incredible - I no longer have to lift the door to lock it :-) If I had purchased some cheap locks from a hardware shop they would have been cheaper, but they would never have worked as smoothly (or been as secure) as the '3 star' locks I purchased from Wessex Locksmiths. And these locks will last the entire time I own the house. Highly recommended.

Super friendly, realistic pricing. What's not to like. I needed a second key for my motorhome. Fiat wanted in excess of £300. Martin wanted £60. This is for a key with a chip embedded in it and is not something all key cutting places can do. Well Wessex can do it because it is not just a key cutting place though that is certainly on the menu. No, this is a proper locksmiths, the like of which are few and far between. If you are in this part of the world and need keys cut, door locks, safes etc etc. This is where you should head. So grateful to Martin.

The Windowman let me down and couldn’t or wouldn’t help with a 3 year old front door they supplied. Contacted Southwest Locksmiths after waiting nearly 2 hours for a national locksmiths to turn up. Within 5 mins of calling SouthWest Locksmiths, they were here to help let me into my home. I wish I had called Southwest Locksmiths first, instead of wasting 2 hours out in the cold with my dogs after a dog walk gone wrong. Great friendly service and would highly recommend 100%. Called out on a Saturday. There locksmith came in good time. Ended up having the handle and lock changed. But this was due to my choice as I didn't have time for parts to be ordered and needed it done there and then. Don't know if the price was high or low tbh. Never had this done before but it wasn't much different to what I had expected. The guy that turned up was friendly and chatty. And was very patient with my nan who has dementia.

I was referred to Key Tech by another locksmith company that wasn't able to help. Dean was very swift in getting back to me and I was booked in within minutes. Lee was able to cut and code my spare key for my Smart ForTwo 451 and he was very patient with the tight space he had to work with. No trouble at all for him. He explained and showed me the process on his equipment and did a full run through using both keys to show all functions working perfectly. Ideal aswell as very local to me and they could either come to you or I could go there. I opted for the latter. I called this morning and they sent someone out within 30 mins. I was warned that my car may have extra security systems which would mean I couldn’t get a replacement key from them and this happened to be the case. I wasn’t charged a call out fee which I was grateful for. He said he was going to try and find out some more info and would call me back, which he did a couple of hours later. Can’t fault the service and I would highly recommend. Thank you
