I ordered a key from here as it was not found anywhere else so I assume it was a specialist key. The price was a little steeper than i was expecting but still reasonable. It did arrive quickly and the product is high quality so the price was justified. EDIT: After posting this review, to which i originally complained about a very high shipping cost (£8 for one key), i was contacted by the company to explain the why the price was high. I was told that due to the key i ordered being a security key they are obliged to send it by a certain courier service in order to produce the keys, which makes sense as the wrong key in the wrong hands can be deadly. They contacted me in less then a day after posting my review which is fantastic customer service and shows that their absolutely care about their customers and their reputation, so they do indeed deserve the full 5 stars I can give!

Our Estate Agents recommended us to this place as we had a very specialist key we wanted cutting. It turns out these people are one of the only places in the UK. Expecting the price to be hiked for this reason I was surprised at the cost being so reasonable. The man behind the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable. He arranged the key to be cut, and they were picked up the following morning. (Being a specialist key, they weren't cut while I waited.) Will definitely use this place in the future for all types of key. If you can't find a place that does your key, try these people and you'll be sure to get what you want.

Brilliant. Older gentleman but knows exactly what he's doing and gave advice about the immobiliser 'key' he couldn't copy. Old car keys (old car!), he had the blanks, he could cut them when no one else local I tried could.

Friendly efficient service - had all our locks changed and Scott even managed to help me with my car key that had fallen apart. Would definitely recommend and will be using again.

I lost the keys to my Thule roof rack and was half expecting we'd need to break the locks. I called ASL and they asked me to pop over on the off chance they could sort it. I was dealt with quickly and they managed to pick the locks and reverse engineer a key for them. I left happy because I hadn't lost the locks or broken anything. The service we received from Kevin during a power outage was outstanding! Kevin had to get us back into our garage (keys in the lock on the inside of the pedestrian door - doh! - and no power to the up and over garage door). This was a really tricky and urgent job so that our electrician could access our mains supply and restore the power to our house and garage. Kevin's skill and perseverance meant that the electrician was in very quickly and we had new locks immediately with no damage to either door - superb!

Absolutely excellent service. I had a problem with my mk7 Transit blue fob. Called in advance and was quote prices for different options/outcomes, 30 mins later a working key, all done by a very knowledgeable man. Of course, what about the cost? Yeah, you’ve guessed it, it was the cheapest one. Well pleased. Waited a week before writing this as I wanted to be sure all was good.

I had a problem lock that they managed to fix and fit a new barrel with matched keys to other doors - a great friendly service - very professional and quick turn around - thank you - do not hesitate to use they are highly recommended.

Really can’t recommend Croma enough. Had truly exceptional service from the Albert Road branch. Very experienced staff took time to work through with me patiently the issue and how to resolve it. There was no upselling just clear, friendly, competent advice that ended in a solution provided by an engineer Tom who on time, polite and efficient. If you are Portsmouth based and have an issue with securing your property try Croma before wasting time and money elsewhere.

I managed to lose the keys to my old 1993 volvo. Another locksmith company didn't want to deal with it because of the age. I rang Martin at ASL late Monday eve, by Monday monday afternoon he had visited, helped me get into the car and had 3 new keys cut. Perfect, friendly service at a surprisingly low price.

Left my key with them, and, Having heard nothing for 4 days, returned to the centre, to be told that no one had looked at it yet. It was still on the desk where he had put it when I gave it to him. To be fair, he came back to me later that day, and the issues were resolved within 24 hours. Poor start, got better. Left another key with him to be fixed over the weekend. Good price. Communications brilliant. Scott handled my problem efficiently and quickly. Didn’t even have to go to their main HQ. Their engineer was local and redirected to my house within the same morning. Job completed within half an hour.

Just had Chris visiting to attend 2 troublesome doors. One with the locking mechanism not engaging the other a ‘dropped door’. Only phoned this morning, here by 1400 and done by 1500. Emergency change of locks needed at my home after my handbag was stolen: no problem for 3 County Locks, who turned up within a couple of hours and did a swift, neat job for a very reasonable price. Very friendly service too. Highly recommended.

Called out on a Saturday. There locksmith came in good time. Ended up having the handle and lock changed. But this was due to my choice as I didn't have time for parts to be ordered and needed it done there and then. Don't know if the price was high or low tbh. Never had this done before but it wasn't much different to what I had expected. The guy that turned up was friendly and chatty. And was very patient with my nan who has dementia.

I was referred to Key Tech by another locksmith company that wasn't able to help. Dean was very swift in getting back to me and I was booked in within minutes. Lee was able to cut and code my spare key for my Smart ForTwo 451 and he was very patient with the tight space he had to work with. No trouble at all for him. He explained and showed me the process on his equipment and did a full run through using both keys to show all functions working perfectly. Ideal aswell as very local to me and they could either come to you or I could go there. I opted for the latter. Called up and operator on the phone was useful… had an engineer booked to come in 30mins, took him less than 10 mins to get into our Mercedes sprinter van which had a dead battery. Price was reasonable. Great service.

I visited Tom today at his workshop in Poole for my cargo bike Security and he was very professional and reasonably priced in the work he undertook. I will definitely be recommending do not hesitate to use this guy.
