What an absolute gem of a business. Couldn't get into our safe and it was urgent as travelling, Chubb safe/Insafe wanted to charge a £1200 callout fee and a couldn't attend for a week. Spoke to Colin Thompson & Sons who told me a simple solution and it was fixed within minutes, no charge or callout required. They were absolutely amazing, friendly and went above and beyond. They saved me £1200 and didn't ask for a penny in return. What a champion of a business!

I cannot thank Noel enough for coming out yesterday evening to a part of Dorset he was not familiar with, to find my locked car in an out-of-the way and hard to find dark location. I was blocking my friends car in her drive, and we both needed to be somewhere else soon. Noel arrived quicker than expected, and sorted it all in less than ten minutes. Noel was incredible. My elderly parents live 100 miles from me and I needed to find a vehicle locksmith in their area as my parents had lost their only car key and arrange the whole thing from my end; initially a worrying task. Noel handled the whole thing, happy to communicate via text and chat on the phone to arrange everything. He visited their house, rang me with a couple of options to solve the problem and most importantly was flexible when they found their one key to change the plan and use that to create a copy so they had two. He kindly sent me a copy of the key code and a phot of the new keys. I am very grateful Noel. I lost the keys to my Thule roof rack and was half expecting we'd need to break the locks. I called ASL and they asked me to pop over on the off chance they could sort it. I was dealt with quickly and they managed to pick the locks and reverse engineer a key for them. I left happy because I hadn't lost the locks or broken anything. Left my key with them, and, Having heard nothing for 4 days, returned to the centre, to be told that no one had looked at it yet. It was still on the desk where he had put it when I gave it to him. To be fair, he came back to me later that day, and the issues were resolved within 24 hours. Poor start, got better. Left another key with him to be fixed over the weekend. Good price. I called this morning and they sent someone out within 30 mins. I was warned that my car may have extra security systems which would mean I couldn’t get a replacement key from them and this happened to be the case. I wasn’t charged a call out fee which I was grateful for. He said he was going to try and find out some more info and would call me back, which he did a couple of hours later. Called out on a Saturday. There locksmith came in good time. Ended up having the handle and lock changed. But this was due to my choice as I didn't have time for parts to be ordered and needed it done there and then. Don't know if the price was high or low tbh. Never had this done before but it wasn't much different to what I had expected. The guy that turned up was friendly and chatty. And was very patient with my nan who has dementia.

We had Dan come out to us today. He was very friendly and a true professional . He did a fantastic job on changing our 4 locks. He was a wealth of knowledge and information on the subject and nothing was too much trouble for him. I would say he went above and beyond. So nice to have him do the job for us, we were very happy and now feel safe.

I recently used Keytek to come and replace a remote key on my daughters first car,as it wasn't working. I tried to fix the problem myself by ordering a new key housing online,but it didn't wwork. I phoned them in the morning and they came out very quickly. Lee sorted the problem with a new key,which is more robust than the old one. I would highly recommend them as they were very professional and knew what they were doing.

Went in with a key fobs problem on an old audi and they promptly changed battery and got it working again Much to my relief defo recommend them

Car fob I changed the battery however was not working, popped in within 30 seconds they explained I needed to remove the child safe sticker on the reverse side of the battery, friendly service , no charge , so refreshing , Thank You
