I haven't been to the hairdressers for a long time but I met the lovely hairdresser Gemma. She made me feel at ease and completely transformed my hair. I absolutely love my hair. I would highly recommend treating yourself here.

Tried various hairdressers after my great hairdresser up and left for new Zealand . But I go and have my hair styled by Joshua . He listen and styled it just how I had explained . So pleased with outcome made my day to have at last found a great stylist . Thank you so much . Anne

I have been a client at Over The Top for many years now. They are by far the best hair salon in the area. The team are warm, welcoming and incredible at what they do. The salon itself has a lovely atmosphere, I am always listened to and given great advise by my stylist.

Haircut for 2 wriggly little boys. Gemma did fantastic job, she was talking to the boys, they were sitting still while she worked. Whole process took 10 minutes per boy. I experienced that in every barber shop in Shaftesbury, the barbers were cutting at much slower pace, children were getting restless and barbers were impatient - didn't feel welcome in any of the barber shops. In Over the Top, we felt welcome and while one son was getting a haircut, the other son was playing with Arthur the dog ;) We will definitely return. Thank you

Huong and the team are all so lovely. Nothing is ever too much trouble no matter how fussy you are! They are all very friendly, professional and do lovely work. I visited this salon for the first time recently for a full head of highlights, cut and blow dry with Janet. All the staff are really friendly, professional and made me feel super comfortable. I wasn’t very happy with my colour that was done at a previous salon but after explaining this to Janet and showing her a few photos of the sort of colour I liked, I could tell straight away that she was very experienced and knew what she was doing. I love my new colour and am so happy I have found a salon that I am happy to go back too! Would highly recommend :-)

Janet was lovely to speak with, and made me feel very comfortable after not having had my hair cut in a long time. She saw the vision I had for my hair, and cut it the exact way I wanted. It ended up way better than expected and I am very happy, thank you Janet 😊

Lorraine is an amazingly talented nail technician, her designs are bespoke to each client and she is always learning and developing new styles, nothing is too much trouble. Her treatment room is always welcoming and each visit leaves you feeling pampered and special. Her attention to detail and her insistence on using only safe products on nails, lashes and skin leaves you totally confident in her and her treatments.

I love coming here for treatments; the girls are all lovely, the setting is relaxing and I’m always so happy with my brows. I enjoyed a therapeutic Lymph Drainage massage this week with Rochelle. I was recovering from a virus so felt it would jump start my immune system. It was a thorough full body massage and I left feeling good. However, during the evening I developed a very bad headache, so retired to bed. Woke the next day feeling refreshed and continue to feel well. I recommend following Rochelle’s advice about diet following the massage.

Incredible salon!! Every visit to Rochelles brings me great joy. I find myself looking forward to each appointment as if going to have coffee with a dear friend. The staff are superb, not only in the level of care taken to provide me with a professional and friendly service, excellent treatments and a wide range of appointment availability but in the enjoyment they show in their roles. The salon is a beautiful space and always so clean. On most occasions I’m taken into my appointment early and always offered a drink. Thankyou ladies, for always looking after me and my eyebrows!
