I’ve been going to Meraki for the past couple of years and have always left with dream hair, confidence and a spring in my step. I’ve had styles by Lily, Daisy and Emma and have always been super happy with my hair. I work away but drove 5 hours because I rate this salon this much. Everyone works so hard, even the apprentices and I cannot recommend Meraki enough. Super knowledgeable, full of useful advice on hair care and expert stylists. I've been going to Katie Burrows-Kerr for years now and she always does an amazing job. I love the way I feel when I leave the salon, even if it's just from a simple trim. I had my first salon colour last time (previously always home dyed) and I was so happy with the end result, my hair was so vibrant and shiny as well as being super soft! The atmosphere in the salon is always really friendly. I find going into some salons quite intimidating but everyone at MeraKi is so welcoming.

I went to see Jayda Rose for a double session of radiofrequency skin tightening. Her room was warm and cosy, located above Elysian hairdressers on the Dorchester Rd. After 4 years on high dose steroids (40 to 60mgs a day) and despite losing weight, I was left with a considerable amount of excess fatty, loose skin all around my neck, and some on my face. I wasn't expecting much difference. However, the results were amazing and instant. I actually have a chin and a large amount of the excess tissue around my neck and some lines on my face have disappeared after my first session! The procedure was painless and felt like a warm facial. There were no side effects, such as red skin or blotches. Jadya was professional and friendly and has undertaken an extensive amount of training and courses. I would highly recommend jayda👌 ❤️ Update 18th Dec 2024: I have now had a cours of 10 sessions costing £279. The results are astonishing. I didn't even think this was possible. For any doubters I only adopted my rescue Yorkie, Lily in August. So I have not spent a lot of time to achieve the results below. I feel like I'm back to my old self. No needles as I'm on warfarin. I had the most amazing experience at my hair appointment today! I went in for the Fusio Dose Kerastase Treatment followed by a haircut, and it was exactly what my damaged hair needed. The appointment started with a heavenly head and neck massage that instantly helped me relax—it was such a wonderful touch. The treatment itself was phenomenal; my hair already feels so much healthier and nourished. And then came the haircut—Amelia, she did an incredible job! She truly understood what I wanted and worked her magic to bring my vision to life. I can’t thank her enough for her attention to detail and care. I was so impressed with the results that I booked another treatment with Amelia before leaving the salon. I’m already looking forward to it because this was by far the best treatment I’ve had. I recently had my hair cut by Maddy. It's the first cut where I can wash and style my hair and make it (nearly) as good as when Maddy first did it. She was so lovely I booked my daughter in to have hers done as well. Both daughters treated to a hot chocolate and Maddy was so good at listening to my daughter and cutting her hair perfectly. Can't recommend highly enough.

Lauren gives me a wonderful gel manicure. The products used are top quality and last me a full 4 weeks without any chips. The salon is beautiful very welcoming and chic. 100% recommend this salon!! Went in for my consultation about a month ago and was welcomed from the start! I was nervous about going as haven’t been to a salon in years but I was instantly put at ease, no judgement whatsoever! Amie did my hair today and is helping me get closer to the colour I want my hair for my wedding and she’s smashed it out the park! Elizabeth Jayne is such an amazing salon as soon as you walk in you get greeted with a smile and someone there to hang up your coat, it’s got such a lovely feel and obviously is beautiful to look at, all staff so friendly and chatty, I get my hair and nails done by the lovely Lauren have been with Amie and Lauren for over a year now and love it so much such a high quality salon and professionalism and great prices too! Having talked with Adam and given him some idea of what I wanted style-wise, I left the details to him and am absolutely thrilled with the result. Best haircut I've ever had (and five weeks on it still looks good). All my friends have commented on how well the style suits me, a number have asked me where I had it done and at least one friend has called in to SGM Hair as a result. I don't live on the doorstep, but will now happily make the 45-mile round trip to Dorchester. A 100% positive experience. Oh, and they serve great coffee, too!

Popped in for the first time last week. I don’t live in the area but Stevie did a fab job of a restyle cut on my rather difficult curly hair. I will definitely go in again I love my hair now!
