Having talked with Adam and given him some idea of what I wanted style-wise, I left the details to him and am absolutely thrilled with the result. Best haircut I've ever had (and five weeks on it still looks good). All my friends have commented on how well the style suits me, a number have asked me where I had it done and at least one friend has called in to SGM Hair as a result. I don't live on the doorstep, but will now happily make the 45-mile round trip to Dorchester. A 100% positive experience. Oh, and they serve great coffee, too!

The pride of Dorchester, Akemi Spa is a treat for the mind, body, and soul. Upon entering the spa I was immediately engulfed but the warm vibe. The owner Kelly has an infectious smile that says, “you’re in good hands.” The massages are more than enjoyable, they are a health necessity if rejuvenation, balance, and relaxation are your goals. I highly recommend a day of pampering and self care. Get a mani and pedi! Slump in and prance out, you won’t regret it! Prices are reasonable, service top notch, staff professional, and welcoming. Don’t go to Dorchester without visiting Akemi Spa.

I support a resident to have her nails done here. All the staff are so lovely and treat her very well. She always feels good when she leaves there and shows everyone her nail. Would recommend these lovely people to anyone.

Kelly & Hope recently did the makeup for my Wedding and we were all over the moon with the service we received! I had a makeup trial before the Wedding which was really enjoyable and helped to give us an idea of what we wanted to do on the day. Kelly & Hope were amazing on the day and made us all look incredible! We received so many compliments and they provided (as always) a professional and friendly service. It was lovely having them at the venue with us as we were getting ready and everyone’s makeup looked amazing all day long! I went to see Jayda Rose for a double session of radiofrequency skin tightening. Her room was warm and cosy, located above Elysian hairdressers on the Dorchester Rd. After 4 years on high dose steroids (40 to 60mgs a day) and despite losing weight, I was left with a considerable amount of excess fatty, loose skin all around my neck, and some on my face. I wasn't expecting much difference. However, the results were amazing and instant. I actually have a chin and a large amount of the excess tissue around my neck and some lines on my face have disappeared after my first session! The procedure was painless and felt like a warm facial. There were no side effects, such as red skin or blotches. Jadya was professional and friendly and has undertaken an extensive amount of training and courses. I would highly recommend jayda👌 ❤️ Update 18th Dec 2024: I have now had a cours of 10 sessions costing £279. The results are astonishing. I didn't even think this was possible. For any doubters I only adopted my rescue Yorkie, Lily in August. So I have not spent a lot of time to achieve the results below. I feel like I'm back to my old self. No needles as I'm on warfarin. Had my brows done for the first time ever with Mya after seeing pictures of her work on her page. I’ve always put it off out of fear of a bad experience. I am so happy with the result! My brows look like my brows but better, very natural and I couldn’t like them more. Easy parking outside her treatment room with no parking charges- bonus! Also a very friendly lady, with a lovely treatment room.

So pleased to have found The Sanctuary! Sam does the most amazing Bio Sculpture nails. They have lasted so much better than any other gel I’ve had in the past, and the selection of colours is great. Lovely friendly and welcoming atmosphere too 😊 highly recommend!

My third visit to have my nails done with Demi. They always look lovely and biab definitely helps keep them strong, with a such a choice if colours. Today springvus in the air so we went with pink of course. Demi is very professional, always polite and really friendly highly recommended.
